Navigating Multiple App Pages In The Itunes Store

I have been trying to look at the 15000+ utilities Apps available for my Ipod on the Itunes store. I find that if I click on a App to check it out, that when I click on the back button to go back to the last page that I was on, I instead, end up right back at the first page for the Utilities Apps, no matter what page I was on when I checked out the App. This required me to remember what page I was last on and then reselect it to continue looking at the Apps on that page. Because the list of pages at bottom of the page only goes up to 5 (plus the last page), I have to start on page 5 (for page numbers higher than 5) and then click one page at a time until I get to the desired page. As there are dozens of pages in the Utilities Apps listing, this results in a lot of time and mouse clicks to get back to the page where I left off. What can I do to get around this problem as this setup makes it unlikely that I will look further than the first 5 pages for available Utility Appps?

Apple released an update to iTunes today (7.4.1.), which seems to have solved the problem.

Cannot update Apps, some pages within the iTunes Store are blank

About 2 weeks ago, I started having problems with iTunes.
1) I can update Apps on my iPhone, but I can no longer login to iTunes (11.3.1) and update my my Apps on my Mac (OSX 10.9.4), as the Mac is not recognizing my password, although my iPhone is.
2) When I open the iTunes Store to search for music/movies, etc. not all of the pages within the iTunes Store have content. For example, the "Home Page", "Music", "Movies", "TV Shows", "Books" pages all work and have content. The "App Store", "Podcasts" & iTunesU pages are completely blank and have no content. Also when I Search for certain items, it's hit or miss. Sometimes the search brings something back, and again sometime the search bring back a blank page.
We brought out Mac into an Apple Store yesterday (8/15) and they did not no what is going on. The reinstall the OSX software and we backed up fro a Time machine backup, but it did not fix the issue.
Could this possibly be a glitch in the iTunes software? Would we need to uninstall and reinstall iTunes?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I can no longer leave an app review in the iTunes store

I can no longer leave an app review in the iTunes store.
After I sign in, and want to leave a review I get the following message: "You must own this item to write a Customer Review. In order to write a Customer Review for this item you must have purchased or downloaded it."
I used to be able to write and edit my reviews which I have done! But now I can't anymore even though I have bought and/or downloaded several apps. iTunes won't let me write a review anyway.
Any help is appreciated.

I have the same problem (for Mac and iPhone apps) and contacted Apple about this.
The English speaking support said it is a known error and that they are working on a solution. The German support however (which I contacted first, unfortunately) gave me a refund of the apps I wrote them as an example. They told me I should buy them again – which is not possible, since the MacAppStore then gives the message "You have already purchased this app..." Ironically, for one of the two apps I was finally able to write a review, even at this point it wasn't listed in the purchased apps list anymore.
I've never asked for a refund, and it's causing me more trouble than I had before: now I cannot update these refunded apps anymore (since they are not listed in the "Purchased" list). So I have to check manually if there is a new update (comparing version numbers) and then delete the app and "purchase" it again. Of course I would simply buy the apps from the developer directly, however, they are MacAppStore only.
When I asked the AppStore support about a solution for this problem, they said it's technically not possible to write reviews for refunded apps (? yes, of course they were not really reading what I wrote them. I guess support at Apple is done by Siri now) and gave 10 free iTunes songs.
I think reviews are very important for both customers and developers and it's not just a minor inconvenience, but a serious problem; what is especially disturbing, is that it's not the same for all apps: for Pixelmator, I had no problems to post a review, for Jumsoft's "Relationship" it doesn't work, for some apps it worked immediately, for some after a few weeks, for some never.

How to hit the front page of the iTunes store?

What system does Apple use to place new podcasts at the front page of the iTunes store? There are only a handful to be seen, some of them are there even twice. Most of them are quite old (from December 2008). Some of them have user comments, some not. I cannot see any system behind it.

Ipad without pre-installed iTunes App to Access the iTunes Store.

My Ipad did not came with pre-installed iTunes App to Access the iTunes Store. I told my parents and they did not now what to do. So I waited and when I call you for help the prson on the phone told me that my phone free service had expired. I have many itunes gift card and I am not able to use them or download music form itunes because of a mistake someone make when they built my i pad. Please help me because it came like this New in box, and this is not my fault or mistake. Thank you !!

Certain pages in the iTunes store won't load.

A few weeks ago I went to iTunes to see if there were any new games out I might like. Every time I tried to load the games tab in the iTunes store on my laptop it would show that it was loading and then give me a blank white page. All of the other pages that I tried seem to be working. It worked fine a month or 2 ago and I haven't made any upgrades to my laptop since then. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes to see if that would help. It just seems strange that everything else is working fine except for games no matter how I try to get to them. Suggestions?

When I click on Store, all it does is show a blank page, no matter how long I leave it and the loading bar goes half way while saying: Accessing iTunes Store
With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

Why am I not able to see a home page for the itunes store?

When I click on the itunes store to purchase songs...nothing shows up but a page to download a new software. It will not let me leave the page as well. I would like to purchase songs. What should I do?

Thanks for your response. I hadn't mentioned I was using a B9180 icc profice and since the 9180 can print up to 13x19 inches you'd think there'd be an option to do so, so I'll recheck it. Thanks again.

Why won't my apps connect to the iTunes Store?

I can't search for specific apps now. I can only browse the advertised ones. Why am I getting an error message saying "CANNOT CONNECT TO iTUNES STORE"

There appears to be an issue going on with the App Store right now.
I can access the store but cannot do a search without first selecting one app and have it pop up in the window, then enter my app into the search field and then struggle through a couple of more steps until apps appear in the list based on the "keyword" in the search bar, and then I can tap on one of those from there.
Something is wrong on Apple's end is my belief.

HT4009 I can't seem to find a place to request a refund for app purchased from the iTunes store. Can anyone help?

I downloaded an app and tried to make an in-app purchase. When I did so, the app said it could not finish the transaction, but it didn't say why. However, I got a statement from iTunes and see that I have been charged for the in-app purchase for the service, even though the app itself still says I have not subscribed. Does anyone know how I get a refund?

You said, "the 4 also has signal and wifi whereas the 5 has only wifi". By "signal", I'm assuing that you mean cellular signal. If so, that means your iPhone 4 is still active on your cellular number and your iPhone 5 is not. Contact your carrier to sort out which phone is active on your account.

The car gauge app available from the itunes store utilizes an OBDII Bluetooth adapter, but I can't configure the Bluetooth address. How can I use this app I just installed, it has to have the Bluetooth address configured.

I saw an advertisement in a car magazine for an app that would provide gauge read outs available for download from the app store. So I went to the app store, found the app, downloaded and installed it. I then purchased the Bluetooth OBD hardware adapter required to transmit the data from the car to the phone. The adapter has to be configured for the app to communicate with it. This is an apple approved app. But everything I've read says that apple will not allow iPhone owners to make any adjustments to their Bluetooth addresses. And that iPhone only provides Bluetooth connectivity to basic head sets speakers and audio formats through the car stereos ( but no audio streaming).
Bottom line, apple approved app and hardware that can't be configured unless I perform a jailbreak? I don't want to JB the phone but it seems that apple has left me with no other options. I've already invested time and money on this software and hardware. Their must be a legitimate way to use this apple approved software. Does anyone know how to adjust/configure bluetooth settings/addresses?

Generally, if you have to enter a code for bluetooth, your iPhone will ask you to enter a 4 digit code when pairing. Check the instructions for the device you are trying to pair with your iPhone. The instructions should give you the code in the pairing instructions, if a code is required.

I am unable to get the iTunes store to accept my Apple ID and password, despite having received an email from Apple indicating that the ID and password are valid. I purchased an iPad and need to sync my laptop with it, but I can't download any apps.

How do I get apps downloaded from the iTunes store? Every time I try to sign on with my user id and password, I get a message stating that my account has never been used to purchase anything from iTunes before, and that I need to review my account. Yet when I click on the link to review the account, it just leads back to the store. I have tried "starting from scratch" to attempt to create a new account again, but get the message that my email is already associated with an Apple account, so it won't let me start over. I just purchased an iPad2 and am trying to get started with downloading items, but getting nowhere fast. If this is an example of how Apple does business, I may be returning the iPad2 for a refund.

Where do I find earlier versions of Apps in the itunes store

I have an ipod touch 2nd Generation, Software Version 4.2.1 with a storage capacity of 8 GB.
Since I do not get any Software updates anymore, I can't download any Apps anymore.
The App "VintApp" doesn't seem to exist in the Swiss App Store. How can I find earlier versions of an App on the iTunes store?

Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

even if i am logged in and all the rest is sync, the page of the iTunes store remain white and do not show anything!!

If you're referring to the iTunes in the Cloud feature, music is only available via the feature in the US right now. So you cannot at this time re-download your music (due probably to licensing issues with the distributors in the various countries). You'll need to restore from your backups or from an iOS device if you have one that contains your music.

I've been having a lot of internet-related problems on my Mac these past couple of months. The newest one is this, I keep getting an error trying to connect to the iTunes store. It appears at random times when I try connecting to the iTunes store, usually more so at night. So you know exactly what I'm getting (hopefully the image will load):
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-50).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
I've been noticing it's been becoming more and more frequent, in fact I haven't been able to connect since last night.
I've disabled the firewall, and am using the most recent version of iTunes. My ISP is Comcast.

I just figured out my problem. I was just looking at Parental Controls and I turned them on for my account. It looks like just turning them messes with iTunes. I could visit the app store and the latino and movie store but the main page of the iTunes store was unavailable. I could visit the different genres stores but the main page of the iTunes and Podcast was unavailable. This has to be a bug in Parental Controls. If it is just turned on for an account the main page of the iTunes store is unavailable and you get an error -50. When I turned off the Parental Controls for my account everything worked fine. Hope this helps you.
