NAVIGATION BAR feature (or bug?)

When I add javascript to a navigation bar entry HTML DB automatically adds a "width=1%" to the cell in the navigation bar table. This causes the navigation bar to move away from the right side of the screen.
This "width=1%" is not coming from a template.
Until now I have found now way to get my navigation bar back to right side of my screen.
This looks like a bug to me.
Anyone agree?

I am running into this problem, too. Did you find a work around?

  • Bug on Google search shortcut on navigation bar

    Hi,
There is a bug on that shortcut. When you Slide up from multitasking button(I don't know how it is called) it doesn't show the Google logo on screen and it opens current tasks window and Google search both.
It works for other navigation bar buttons well.

Its supposed to work from the center bottom, in other words the home key not other location

  • IE Navigation bar bug

I use the Insert > Image Object > Navigation Bar wizard
to create a horizontal nav bar. It works great in every browser
tested except IE 6. On click the image disappears but the new image
does not appear until you mouseOut. If I add an alert to the mouse
down event then it works - as the "alert" takes focus.

I am finding browsers like IE6 increasingly impossible to
work with, every error that dreamweaver seems to report for browser
compatability seems to be because of this. As far as I know there
is no simple way around this, I will be watching this thread to see
what others have to say though!
I have seen when looking at HTML some site's have a <IF

  • Bug Report: Navigation Bar Subscription Popup LOV

    Hi,
it looks like that the popup LOV for the "Reference Master Navigation Bar From      List of Values" property of an navigation bar, just shows the name of the navigation bar if the "Icon Image Alt" is filled out. But actually the "Icon Subtext" is the required property for an navigation bar if it's text only.

  • Bug with template + navigation bar

    Greetings...
I have created a site with DW CS3 and like many others before
me, i can't edit a navigation bar added to the editable area of a
    page that uses my template.
I can create one and save everything but i can't modify
    afterward.
I always get the "making this change would require changing
code that is locked by a template..." window.
    Thanks for any help

It's quite simple, but we would need to know how you have
    built your
navigation, and what your skill level is with HTML and CSS
    first. Can you
post a link to the page, and tell us how well you know the
    underlying
    technology?

  • Navigation bar opens new tabs for links on the same site - only newer versions of FireFox does this! Why?

I've used this custom navigation bar for nearly a decade. New versions of FireFox open new tabs when I navigate to different pages on my weather site. Very annoying!!! I've tried turning off tabs, but then it opens NEW WINDOWS! These links ARE NOT ENCODED TO OPEN IN NEW WINDOWS! What is causing this? Looks like I"m going to have to switch to Chrome or go back to IE, since nobody at Mozilla seems to care about this. They seem to think it is a good feature and not a bug. What gave you the right to decide to open new tabs at random times? If I click a link on a site that is on the same site I'm already on, and the link isn't coded for _blank, then it should open in the same window!

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Navigation bar Safari ios 8 ipad

Does anyone know how to disable the feature that causes the top navigation bar to auto minimize in Safari when scrolling down on the ipad?  I want to disable as it means I now have to scroll back to the top of a webpage each time I need the nav bar back (to make it reappear) so that I can click back to a previous webpage.

I have been searching as well, and I cannot find a good solution. I do most of my navigating using the navigation bar. Now, what used to take one tap takes two or requires a down swipe to access controls I had before. I would really like to get back the functionality I had before the update.

  • Adding a print button, a "download" PDF button and a navigation bar in a SWF created by InDesign

I can't find a way to add "PDF features" on a SWF file exported from InDesign CS5.5 such as:
    - a print button
    - a download PDF button
    - a navigation bar (outside of the pages)
edocker provides these features but it is pretty expensive and does not allow a lot of customization.
Would anyone have an idea of how to do it ?
    Thank you.

eDocker actually allows you to use all the interactive features you can create in InDesign. It kind of "wraps" your exported SWF into a user interface with all those 3 elements asked + more (zoom for instance)

  • Suddenly, my custom url buttons disappeared from the navigation bar and I can no longer add new ones. FF22

I am using Firefox 22 (I like its features and do not want the features added in later version.) I have added a handful of custom URL buttons to the navigation bar that allow me to go instantly to websites I visit frequently. There was/is a function in Firefox for adding such buttons. This morning, after leaving my computer on all night, I found that the custom buttons had disappeared and I could no longer find the function for adding new ones. Can you tell me what has happened and how I can add custom URL buttons? I will appreciate your help. Thank you.

I solved my own problem. This function was added by Google Shortcuts, which somehow became disabled. After fussing ariound for a few minutes. I was able to restore it.

  • Horizontal Navigation Bar

I'm using the Spry horizontal menu bar, and I've got a problem.
In IE7, but not in Firefox or Safari or even IE8, the hover state is apparently only active for the text in the submenus, not the entire 'button'.  That is, the list item is styled to look like a button, it's 12 ems wide, the text for most of the items doesn't fill the entire button.  If one puts their mouse over the 'empty' part of the button, it seems that the 'hover' state is lost and the submenu disappears. In the image below, if you mouse over Northside, but leave the mouse on the right side of the 'button', the menu will quickly disappear if using IE7; it stays put when using the other browsers.
Very annoying to the user (and to this developer).
    The site is http://www.acblunit174.org
I wonder if anyone has an explanation?  Is this a known problem with a known workaround?
The css file is included below.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Enhancement request for Navigation Bar - save state before branching

    Hello,
I believe it would be nice and helpful to add the save state before branching option also to the Target section of a Navigation Bar Entry.
    Thanks,
    Arie.

This was subsequently documented in the Release Notes.
There is no forum traffic to substantiate the reasons given for its removal. I certainly never encountered them. I don't see how it couldn't have been retained with documented restrictions.

  • Add Image in the navigation bar of Help page

    Hi,
I wanted to add image next to to the Search in the Help page navigation bar as in snapshot below:
I wanted to add an image i.e the the logo next to above button in navigation bar. I tried adding , howevr could only add as Header, not right in the navigation pane. Correct me if I m wrong, the navigation control can be configured while generation web output. I coudnt find any other option to do this.
Please let me your inputs on this.
    Thanks,
    Pallavi

    Hi all
Sorry Colum, I think you are wrong. That looks exactly like a WebHelp Search dialog.
Pallavi, I am thinking the answer for you may be a simple one. Use the WebHelp skin editor. There you should see an option to choose the image used for the Go button.
I'm not exactly sure what version you are using. But I'll insert a screen capture of RoboHelp 7 below.
My thought here is that you could create an image that includes your company logo along with the Go button. Then use that image for the Go button. Sure, both the company logo as well as the Go button would be clickable, but it should do the job, no?
    Cheers... Rick
