Navigation bar icon seems broken in 1.6

I put the image name under Icon Image attributes > Image field. Nothing come up.
Any people know the solution how to add icon in navigator bar in HTMLDB 1.6. Thanks in advance.

Must be doing something wrong. It doesn't work in 2.0 either. What is it?
I've uploaded the image to the workspace. Go to edit the navigation bar icons. Under Image Attributes I enter #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#homeicon.gif in the Image field.
What am I doing wrong?

  • When I select Toolbar-Customize and the options box opens, the Navigation Bar icons disappear.

Two questions: 1) When I select Toolbar, then Customize, the box with the toolbar options opens, but my Navigation bar icons disappear, so I can't add the spaces, bars, etc. to it. How do I fix that? 2) I can reposition the icons in the Navigation bar without being in Customize, with the exception of the Search Address box. How do I reposition the Search Address box? Thanks.

Opening in the Sidebar is the default action for bookmarks that are created via a "Bookmark this Page" link or button on a website. Make sure you use the many "Bookmark this Page" methods that are in Firefox instead.
Right-click those bookmarks and select '''Properties''', then un-check the preference for '''Load this bookmark in the sidebar''', and then click Save.

And those are?  I installed dbus as that's the only daemon the beginners guide mentions, and I added alsa and a few others to rc.conf for good measure but saw no change and removed them.  So right now I only have:
    $ grep DAEMONS /etc/rc.conf

  • Why do all the unused icons appear in a box on the navigation bar after I download a file?

Since the last Firefox upgrade last week a large box of all the unused icons appears on the navigation bar after I download a file. If I click on this box, the previous download information appears. The icons in the box aren't useable. This box doesn't appear when I first open Firefox. The box is so big it crowds out the other items in the navigation bar. Any ideas?

This issue is caused by a broken extension that isn't working properly and that doesn't support the current Firefox release.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

  • Navigation bar floating, can't seem to position to top

Could use a second set of eyes. Bought a theme template and did some adjustments in DW. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the navigation bar - "top_bar" - is floating. it should be positioned at the top of the page. The footer also seems to be floating.

Not sure if this is a css or php issue. I can deal with css, php is a little tougher on me. Guidance would ure be appreciated.

I've been doing the drinking part...believe me!
Here is the grid.css code. It seems only directed to the tablets, etc...which is maybe what you were saying...or is there supposed to be something in there directed at the full page site and it is missing?

  • Removing icons from the navigation bar.

I have two icons on my navigation bar that I can't remove. One is from Amazon and the other is from Ebay. I've tried holding Command and dragging them into the trash. Nothing. I've tried using the "customize" option and dragging them there. Still nothing. Any ideas? My Macbook has Mountain Lion as OS. Thanks in advance for any help,

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The navigation bar on my web browser, Firefox. There's a navigation bar at the top of the screen, just under the URL address bar. There are some plug in icons here, but somehow also these icons from Amazon and Ebay. I'd like to remove them. What do you think?
    thanks,

PS:  check out on the screen shot, the right upper corner, the icons are there.

  • White dot beside icons in Navigation Bar

What does it mean when a small white dot appears beside some of the icons within the nav bar? I assume it means that the application is running in the background. Is it prudent to "Quit" these applications or is it OK to keep it running in the background? Sometimes I don't like to Quit it, as it disappears off the nav bar and I have to retreive it. Thanks!

    Hi MagicMan88
    Welcome to Apple Discussions
Yes, the white dot indicates that the Application is open.
To retain any Application on the Dock +(Navigation Bar)+ control (right) click on it and in Options select Keep in Dock. Now then when you Quit the Application, the short cut icon should remain on the Dock for the next time you want to open it.

  • Move or drag icons from Add-on bar to navigation bar or somewhere else

How can I move or drag icons from Add-on bar to navigation bar or somewhere else?
I want close my Add-on bar that looks not so handsome and move its app icons to tab bar or etc. can I do this and if yes how?
    Thanks.

I think I figured this out. Got to the toolbar that you want to pull these icons to and right click on an open space and select "customize". This will then open that box which contains icons that you can choose from to drag to that bar. Now look at the icons on your add-on bar and drag the ones that you want to that box vs directly to the toolbar. You can now drag those icons from the box to the toolbar. I did it with two extension icons that I wanted up top because having it on that stupid looking toolbar at the bottom looks lame. At least it does to me:)

  • It is possible for linux version to use the same icons of windows and mac version in the navigation bar?

Firefox for linux uses the gtk theme icon in navigation bar, instead mac and windows uses other (trasparent) icons . I find more beautiful icons used in mac and win. Is there any way to force firefox to use this type of icons?

Have you checked the themes add ons? You may find a "Windows 7" theme or something similar!

  • Custom Navigation bar not working. Apple can't seem to help

After watching many videos on people customizing their Navigation bars on Iweb, I decided to do the same for my website. If you go to the home page of my site I can click on any link and have no problem. However, once I am off of the home page I cannot get any of the other links to work. I took my mac to the apple store and they showed me how to fix it. But it didn't help. Nor has there been any useful advice from calling their tech support. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

So if you have a custom made nav bar that works okay on the home page, but not on the other pages of your site, did you remember to go and hyperlink your nav bar on the other pages of your site and not just your home page, or did you forget?
That is one reason why they will not work, if you forgot to hyperlink - you either have to hyperlink first and then copy and paste or do each page individually - it is time consuming, but is the price you pay for having a custom nav menu.
A url would be nice so we can see what is going on.

I am loading Firefox on a new computer, and I can't find the Navigation Bar button for "Reload current page/Stop loading current page". Is there any way to get it back as a choice under Navigation Bar customization or to create a new function? CTRL-R used to work for this function, but I'd like to have the button on the Navigation Bar.
