Navigational Attribute Transported but not reflected.

Hi,
Couple of Navigational Attributes were transported from Dev to QA.
But its not reflecting in QA now.
In the Transport Log its giving the warning message message as,
Navigation attribute ZABCLOC_ZZLINETYPE1 is deleted (not in characteristic ZABCLOC)
Navigation attribute ZABCLOC_ZZABCLOC1 is deleted (not in characteristic ZABCLOC)
Please let me know, how to transport the required Navigational Attr from one system to another system

if the primary object is not active then u will face issues..
here as its quality u can try deleting the P table content of the Infoobject and then try activating that infoobject in the Quality system with the program.. some this like it starts with RSDG or RSVDIOBJ Activate.. u can try this in ur system...
and then try reimporting it with the overwrite mode.. this is will solve ur issue.

I've had the same problem more than once since I started trying to download my 14 April purchase of OS X Mountain Lion.
I found a property list called manifest.plist in my ~/Library/Application Support/AppStore folder which had a Boolean property called failed checked. I unchecked it and afterwards I was able to resume my download.
Here are some steps I've found useful:
Close the Mac App Store.
make a copy of the ~/Library/Application Support/AppStore folder. For some strange reason the Mac App Store likes to just delete it in some circumstances, which will mean that one has to start one's download again from the very beginning.
Double click on the manifest.plist in one's ~/Library/Application Support/AppStore folder.
This should open it in Property List Editor.
Expand all the nodes (holding down the alt key and clicking on the highest collapsed node should do it.
Find a key called failed of type Boolean and uncheck it.
Save the manifest.plist and close it.
Open the Mac App Store.
The red message "an error has occured" should now be gone and one should be able to resume one's download.
In the event that the ~/Library/Application Support/AppStore folder gets deleted:
start the download again (it will start from the beginning), pause it and close the Mac App Store.
copy your backup copy of the pkg file back to its sub-folder (it's a numbered folder in the ~/Library/Application Support/AppStore folder).
Open the Mac App Store and resume your download.
It should continue from where it left off.
This has worked for me so far. I'm holding my breath. Don't know if I'll still be alive when it's finished.

Hello Sri,
the solution to your first question might be very easy. In EhP 4 the entries in the dashboard do not appear automatically. In most cases you have to refresh the dashboard (be aware this is only effecting the current dashboard work list, not all if you do not use the refresh all button). Soclick the "My new Applications" and then refress this workset.
If this does not help we will have to look closer into this issue (overall I assume you have EhP4 SP 6 applied).
For question 2. It is a quite common requirement that an external publication is nearly only based on the posting texts while the internal publication includes much more specific information (org. management, cost center, pay scale group). As you are free in designing you own company specific internal and external publications they can look however you want (in the general restriction what a smartform can do of course). For different publication texts companies create different postings one for internal and one for external publication. The additional information are in some cases entered directly into these texts, in some cases maintained in e-rec fields not needed for other requirements, in customer own fields or directly gathered from the HR core system. It depends a bit on the exact requirement which is the best solution. For the fields you mentioned I'd probably go for OM integration for e-rec (assigning positions to requisition) and get the Information via customer RFC function module directly in the smartform (if the security guys allow the access to the HR system from the e-rec system).
For question 3. The manager should be able to see the decision maker data overview. Here you can include whatever you want as you can replace it with a customer developed smartform.

The order of attributes from an Attribute Group is not reflected in Excel Add-in

It looks like the order of my attributes in an attribute Group is not reflected in the Filter dialog in the Excel Add-in. Any way that I from server side can handle the attribute order in Excel?
The order is correct in the Attribute Groups in the Web UI.

New attribute added in BO, but not reflecting in WF container

Purchase req overall release workflow was using a z business object in my requirment, now i have needed some enhancements so i made some changes like i added few attributes in BO. then i did the delegation.
but the new attributes are not reflecting in Workflow container ?
what i suppose to do for make them reflect there?

Hi,
We use Generate to make BO available for the runtime system. So only after generating the BO, runtime system will pick up the new changes. This is same like when we activate the report in SE38 transaction.
The system can only generate an object type if none of the superordinate object types contain errors. If these object types have not yet been generated, they are generated as well. When an object type is generated, all subtypes are generated as well provided they do not contain any errors.

Hi Manjula,
Yes, you can see the changes in 0Vendor after transporting, in transaction RSD1. But to make it navigational, you need also to select it in an InfoProvider. Otherwise, what you are doing is enabling it to be navigational.

Message sent from RWB but not reflected in SXMB_MONI

Hello Experts,
I have a SOAP - RFC synchronous scenario. I am sending a message from RWB to PI system.It shows message sent in RWB and the message details are reflected in the RWB->message monitoring ->Adapter Engine as 'Successfull'. But no in RWB->message monitoring->Integration Engine.
The message does not reflect in SXMB_MONI either. All other scenarios are working fine except this.
Also on checking the status of Sender communication channels in RWB it shows 'yellow' with reason channel may be inactive or unitialised. Whereas i have checked the communiaction channels in ID, their status is Active.
Kindly advice a solution.

Your message processed from sender adapter. But seems there is some problem in reaching IE. Check out your wsdl file. check when define a web service, have u given right url. Is it like this
http://[server]:[port]/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:[sender communication channel service]:[sender communication channel name]
and also make sure whether you given the right http port name, sender business system name , sender message interface in the following step of define web service. and the port name is important you can fine http port for your PI server by going to SMICM tcode. in that press shift + F1
You altova xmlspy software for testing purpose. You can download free 30 day trial version from altova website. once you installed in it.
Go to xmlspy software. the menu you can find a "SOAP". underthis menu you can find create soap request. select that it will ask the wsdl file. give the wsdl file which you are created in define web service step. after that in xmlspy
menu->soap->send request to server. then it ill ask user name and password to connect with the PI server. then you will get the rfc response if u successfully connected with PI sever.

Query Transported but doesnt reflect in target

Hi guys,
I had an existing Query in Validation. In Development, I added 5 new free characteristics and redid some key figures. It got sucessfully transported but the problem is in Validation, I still see the old Query. (Not the new one with new free characteristics and recalculatted Key figures)
It would be helpful if somebody can help me with this problem.

I think you transported an old version of you query.
Now, you goto your DEV and collect your query & all associated query elements using transport connection and create a new request.

Data Passed into CT_DATA and written back successfully but not reflecting in cube

it should be , No 'Applicable Data found' , you can change your selection input values and try again ,
Or give appropriate selection for the query by knowing the data in the cube, use TCode LISTCUBE to view the contents and try ,

Task Updates By Team Members In Project Server 2013 but not reflects in MSP 100% completed

My problem is related to Project Server & Project Professional 2013
My scenario is like that Project Manager publish the project plan, and respective team member get their task. And Team Member is updated the task,then send to the Project Manager for approval. Project Manager is approved the task. But, while opening my
project in MSP 2013, it is not synced means, in msp it is not showing task 100% completed.

Changes after transport are not reflecting in QA and Production

Hi All,
We changed two table settings in developemnt system table names are ALMBCADM & ALMBCDATA.
We modified the table technical settings as "buffering allowed but de-activated". After we transported the change requested in QA Prod enviornment ,the changes are not getting reflected in the systems. Technical settings in both the systems are still showing as "Buffering is switched off". What could could be the reason behind this???????

Which I suppose is correct.

Web service transported but not active in QA environment

Hi all,
In order to support a template document i've created a web service using the web service tool. All is working fine in DEV and all has been successfully transported to QA environment (I think). The web service objects have been included in the transport using transaction CRMOST_TRANSPORT and I see the web service in the web service tool in QA.
Problem is that the web service is not active. In the web service tool I see the web service and see that the Active status is still available to be selected. When I select it I get the following errors:
- Object type does not exist
- Not possible to get data for service object
- Activation cannot be performed in this client:
- Details Changes to Repository objects are not permitted in this client
I read somewhere that you have to do 'after import functions' for web services but don't know what!? Is it simply a matter of opening the client in QA and reactivating the web service in the Web Service Tool?

I created a webservice through CRM 7.0 Web Service Tool
ie we went to Component WS_DESIGN_TOOL and executed the component and we Launched the tool ,
using tool we created a Web service for Sales Order, Due to missing of some settings I guess it didnt ask for a Transport request and it went and saved in an ' Local Object'.
Could you please help in explaining as what steps we need to configure to make sure that the web service goes and sits in a Transport which is required in moving it to QA System.

Query parameter transaction,Query transported but not found in QAS

Hello all,
I have an issue with my custom transactions pointing to queries I created. Here is one of 2 examples:
I have a query in the Global and Standard areas in DEV. Here are my transaction parameters from SE93:
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT     QUE_JPTREMB_02
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE     AQ
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT     /SAPQUERY/H2/QUE_JPTREMB_02
This works perfectly fine in DEV, in all the clients.
I transported the query using the Export/Import function to QAS. My query in QAS exists only in the Standard Area. I am not able to export/import queries from the global area.
When I try to run the transaction in QAS, I get the following message:
"Query QUE_JPTREMB_02 does not exist in user group /SAPQUERY/H2"
Can any one tell me what is going on here? How can I resolve this issue? Does this have anything to do with global VS standard areas? How do I point the transaction to the Standard Area if that's the case?

What are the steps you have followed? If I remember correctly the following must be carried out in the following sequence.
1) Use RSAQR3TR to export the query, usergroup and infoset in dev system.
2) release the transports in Dev.
3) import the transports into QAS using STMS (normal Transport mechanism)
4) import the query, usergroup and infoset into QAS using RSAQR3TR
5) identify the ABAP program associated with the query in QAS system.
6) create a Transaction code in dev system, assign it to the same query program (even if it does not exist in DEV) and transport the tcodes into QAS.
7) Execute the query once using SQ01 and then try again using the transaction code.
(I do not know why steps 6 and 7 are necessary, but that is the way they have worked for me, if I omit the steps, the query program dumps)
Anyway, I hope the above helps.
