NCS 1.2 - Cannot configure OEAP AP - Error Mandetory : AP username, pass, enable

Hi all
Just wanted to ask if anyone else is getting this error message when trying to configure a OEAP600 AP in NCS 1.2.
Description:
When trying to configure a OEAP600 AP in NCS1.2, fx. setting a new AP Group Name, and pressing save, a error pops up telling me that: "AP username, password and enable password are mandatory". "Make the necessary corrections and try again".
These fields are not present on the OEAP600 configuration page ( for a reason :-) ).
I cannot find a known bug ID for this, so I just wanted to know if I was the only one experiencing this problem ?

Forgot to update this: The BugID is : CSCud33269

  • Time Capsule Error Code 6753 - Cannot Configure

    I recently purchased a 2TB Time Capsule. The setup went fine, I didn't do anything radical, just let it start a network. The network wifi and ethernet both work fine, time machine backups work fine. Everything works fine.
    The problem is that I cannot access the TC's configuration in Airport Utility now, unless I reset the TC. After a reset I can configure it, and then next time I try it cannot be read again (error code 6753).
    Airport Utility can see the TC just fine, but clicking 'continue' or 'manual setup' results only in it sitting there for a while trying to read the device, and then saying there was an error.
    Does anyone have any advice?

    Are you connecting to the TC from your computer using an ethernet connection?
    If not, connect an ethernet cable from your computer to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule and try it again.
    If you continue to have difficulties, you may need to do a Factory
    Default Reset.
    Power off the TC for 5-10 minutes
    Hold in the reset button and keep holding it while you plug the power back in to the TC
    Keep holding the reset button until you see the amber light begin to flash more quickly.
    Then try to reconfigure the TC, again using the ethernet connection. Please post back on your results.

    Hi Anuj,
    Thanks for your reply!
    I found that the data source is registered on server soa_server1 as follows:
    Binding Name: jdbc.soademoDatabase
    Class: weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource_1033_WLStub
    Hash Code: 80328036
    toString Results: ClusterableRemoteRef(8348400613458600489S:10.2.1.143:[8001,8001,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1]:base_domain:soa_server1 [8348400613458600489S:10.2.1.143:[8001,8001,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1]:base_domain:soa_server1/291])/291
    Binding Name: jdbc.SOADataSource
    Class: weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource_1033_WLStub

    I don't know how to determine which server the DBAdapter is targetted to.
    But I found the following information:
    Under Deoloyment->DBAdapter->Monitoring->Outbound Connection Pools
    Outbound Connection Pool Server State Current Connections Created Connections
    eis/DB/SOADemo AdminServer Running 1 1
    eis/DB/SOADemo soa_server1 Running 1 1
    eis/DB/soademoDatabase AdminServer Running 1 1
    eis/DB/soademoDatabase soa_server1 Running 1 1
    The DbAdapter is related to the following files:
    C:\ Oracle\ Middleware\ home_11gR1\ Oracle_SOA1\ soa\ connectors\ DbAdapter. rar
    C:\ Oracle\ Middleware\ home_11gR1\ Oracle_SOA1\ soa\ DBPlan\ Plan. xml
    I unzipped DbAdapter.rar, opened weblogic-ra.xml and found that there's only one data source is registered:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <weblogic-connector xmlns="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90">

              </connection-properties>
    </connection-instance>
    </connection-definition-group>
    </outbound-resource-adapter>
    </weblogic-connector>
    Then I decided to use eis/DB/SOADemo for testing.
    For JDeveloper project, after I deployed to weblogic server, it works fine.
    But for OSB project referencing wsdl, jca and mapping file from JDeveloper project, still got the same error as follows:
    BEA-380001: Invoke JCA outbound service failed with application error, exception:

    You may need to configure the connection settings in the deployment descriptor (i.e. DbAdapter.rar#META-INF/weblogic-ra.xml) and restart the server. This exception is considered not retriable, likely due to a modelling mistake.
    It almost drive me crazy!!:-(
    What's the purpose of 'weblogic-ra.xml' under the folder of 'C:\Oracle\Middleware\home_11gR1\Oracle_OSB1\lib\external\adapters\META-INF'?

    Do you have antiVirus installed on the sharepoint servers?
    These folders may have to be excluded from antivirus scanning when you use file-level antivirus software in SharePoint. If these folders are not excluded, you may see unexpected behavior. For example, you may receive "access denied" error messages when files
    are uploaded.
    Please follow this KB and exclude the folders from Scanning.

    Seems like it's related to the configuration of the .co.xml file. Like in the tutorial I have created this file in location src.config - install - date - cm - services - resourcelistfilter (this folder had to be created manually, not generated by the RF wizard).

  • PS CC: Camera Raw filter gives "cannot parse your files" error

    Hi
    I can open files fine in Photoshop CC, but if I try to use the Camera Raw filter, I get the "file format module cannot parse your files" error. This only happens with larger TIFFs, say 300 MB or so - 70 MB files work fine. I have a fast machine running Windows 7 with 12GB of RAM, so I would expect to have enough space, but maybe it isn't configured properly in PS preferences?
    Thanks for any help,
    Peter

    300MB Tiff seems like a large files size for a Tiff which leads me to believe its a layered Tiff.  ACR does not have Layers support try opening the Tiff file in Photoshop not through ACR to see it there are layers. If there are target  all of them and convert to a smart Object then try ACR as a filter. A smart object is a single layer in Photoshop.

  • Cannot configure Airport Express

    I've set up my Airport Express as a wireless client, the computer recognizes it (it shows up on Airport Utility), but I cannot configure it...everytime I try it says an error occured when trying to communicate, and that's it. All I want to do is play music wirelessly, but I can't select wireless speakers from iTunes...I've already tried a hard and factory reset, no dice...any idea out there?

    Solved my own problem, I guess. Updating the Airport Express Firmware to version 6.3 solved the problem: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/airportexpressfirmwareupdate63formacosx.h tml
    The unfortunate thing is that there was nothing via Airport Utility or Apple Software Update that told me it was necessary to do so. The only reason I discovered this as the problem was trying to connect to the Airport Express using Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil. It diagnosed the problem immediately and sent me to the proper URL to download the firmware update...

  • Cannot configure mod_ose

    I use Oracle 9i on Win2k, but I cannot configure oracle servlet engine to work with apache web server.
    my mod_ose looks like
    LoadModule ose_module E:\oracle\ora81\Apache/modose/bin/orajipa9i.dll
    <IfModule mod_ose.c>
    AuroraService inst1_http
    AuroraWorkersPerProcess 50
    # Context for VPATH /
    <Location /errors/internal >
    SetHandler aurora-server
    </Location>
    <Location /index.jsp >
    SetHandler aurora-server
    </Location>
    </IfModule>
    but when I invoke page http://localhost/index.jsp, apache looks for it at
    <APACHE_HOME>\apache\htdocs\index.jsp, as if it were static page.
    What could go wrong?

    I tried mod_ose under Windows NT 4.0 and
    got it running with and without MTS configuration.
    You should use port number 1521 (not 5521) because the module tries to connect your server via SQL*NET.
    Also you have to establish a net8 endpoint (via addendpoint) in the session shell to make your service available for incoming SQL*NET connections.

    I have Oracle 8.1.7 installed on Solaris 7 / Sparc.
    I'm trying to get mod_ose to work with the Apache server that is installed with 8.1.7. I configured the init.ora and tnsnames.ora as outlined in Section 5.2 of the 8.1.7 Java Virtual Machine, EJB/Corba and Oracle Servlet Engine README for a non MTS enabled database. In this configuration when I try to access any of the paths in the mod__ose.conf file, I get an Error page that the service is temporarily unavailable. I've bounced apache and the database multiple times.
    The tnsnames.ora entry in the README file has PORT=5521. Is this just an example? If I use the port that the database dynamically assigns to the mts dispatcher (from V$DISPATCHER) then mod_ose establishes a connection, but always returns a 404 error.

  • Cannot configure my AirPort Express (1st generation) anymore. Am using AirPort Utility 5.4.2 Setup Assistant. What do I do wrong?

    I cannot configure my AirPort Express (1st generation) as base Station anymore. I had to reset it because I lost my password.
    I first tried my IPads (IOS 6). These returned the message: Your AirPort Express cannot be configured with this software. Go to apple.com/nl/support/airport for more information.
    As it is an old one, I have downloaded the eldest available AirPort Utility I could find on the Apple site (AirPort utility 5.4.2) to my computer. I ran the AirPort Setup Assistant wireless and the assistant found my AirPort named " Apple Network XXXXX". (I notes that the Assistant also returned the message: If this is not the AirPort Extreme you want to set up ...)
    I clicked <NEXT>
    After trying to connect to Network, I received the message: Cannot connect to network or there are no AirPort base stations on the network.
    To be sure I retried running the Assistant after connecting the computer and the AirPort using an ethernet cable. The error message was the same.
    What do I do wrong?
    Am I using the wrong Utility software? If so, which version do I have to download and from where?
    Is a first generation AirPort anyhow compatible wth 4the generation IPads or shoud I just buy a new AirPort.
    I hope someone can help me...

    Ok, thanks for clarifying that for me. You are correct. Your iOS devices will NOT be able to administer the 802.11g base stations because the version of the AirPort Utility that they use is incompatible.
    For Windows XP, AirPort Utility for Windows v5.5.3 should work. However, v5.4.2 that you have should work as well.
    Your XP computer needs to connect to the AirPort's wireless network BEFORE you can access the AirPort with the AirPort Utility. You may want to try connecting your computer directly to the AirPort using an Ethernet cable.

    It need not be localhost. Any address that's visible to the WAS where you are configuring should work. Make sure to provide the user account and password configured for ADS on the security settings of the destination.
    One other thing I forgot to ask - did you do all the steps requried to configure ADS with CE? If not, please send me your email address and I'll send you the doc.
