NCS PI 1.2 Not showing Cleair Sensor as up?

In troubleshooting some issues, I noticed that on monitoring a few 3602's, the CleanAir Sensor Status would report Down on some AP's, despite on the same controllers and floor, some would report up.  This seems to be only on the g radios as well.   I can tell you for an AP in SE-CONNECT mode, even though it says it's Down, Spectrum Expert has no problem connecting to it and utilizing the G radio.

Additionally, OS updates are not updated via the app store; they are updated via Software Update - so, have you checked that? That said, personally I prefer and use keg55's suggestion: download the combo and install it manually.

  • FlexConnect Local Auth. Usernames not showing in WLC/NCS

    Hi,
    I am working on a new install where the customer is using local RADIUS servers at each of their many campuses
    (for local dynamic VLAN assignment), while using a single set of controllers at the core of their network.
    For the record, we have set up a pair of 5508s (v 7.2.103.0) in their central data center with 3602i APs around the various campuses. We are using FlexConnect groups to locally authenticate and switch the users.
    Right now, the config is working great as far as authentication and local switching goes. The problem we are experiencing is that none of the authenticated usernames are being passed back to the controller (and ultimately NCS). This makes the tracking and troubleshooting of users difficult. Is there something I am missing here? I can't seem to find any fixes relevant to this issue in the 7.2.110.0 release notes.
    Maybe I am going about this wrong. I am very open to alternative solutions.
    Thanks.

    After discussing this issue with local Cisco folks, TAC and colleagues, it seems that locally authenticated user names are not passed to the controller (or NCS). It's not a bug, it's just the way it is.
    If you want the AP to authenticate and locally switch users while communication to the controller is down (i.e. loss of WAN link), no usernames are sent to the controller for logging or troubleshooting... even when AP to WLC communication is working fine. It's a trade-off of information (usernames) for uptime.
    If any Cisco wireless development folks are browsing, consider this a 'feature' I would like to see. Thanks.

  • MSI Afterburner does not show in game sensors

    Hello! today I format my PC but now Afterburner does not show anything in game, and before formatting it worked perfectly with my GTX 970. What can I do?
    Thanks!

    Hmm not quite should include. It's rather games that include DX. And VC Redist is usually provided by Windows Updates
    But great you got it fixed, I was thinking what might be the issue when you posted it.. then fall asleep

  • I have just installed a new hard drive in my imac intel 20" (2006) and now the hard drive does not show up in the 'select destinations' folder of the install program.

    I have just installed a new hard drive in my imac intel 20" (2006) and upgraded the memory and now the hard drive does not show up in the 'select destinations' folder of the install program. I can see the hard drive in the disk utilities window however it wont let me do anything.
    It is a seagate 1TB SATA II drive however it is displaying it as a 7.3 TB.
    If anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to hear them.
    I have tried to erase and partition and get the same error message each time, 'Input/Output error'.
    I have tried starting the thing with the install disk which is Mac OS X (Tiger?) which came with the computer. No good.
    Anyone?

    Thats correct. I can see it in the list however when I attempt to erase it or partition it it's like it's not being found or recognised and it throws up the input/output error message. I am pretty sure that the sensor it attached correctly and it is a SATA drive. I can see all the infor regarding the drive when disk utility is open and it all looks good but I cant access it or do anything with it. It's taunting me!
    The install disk is in the drive and the install program runs right up to the point where you have to select the location for the install and there is just nothing in the box where you have to select the hard drive icon.
    I have my suspiscions about the drive but any help would be appreciated.

  • Camera Calibration Profiles do not show in Develop Module LR5 / Windows 7

    I have selected three specific camera profiles (Nikon D300, Nikon D700 and Canon G12) and placed them into:

    I restarted Lightroom 5 and viewed a RAW photo (not jpg or tif).
    But my Nikon D800 or the other two camera profiles do not show up in the Develop Module Camera Calibration drop down menu, nor in the Presets drop down in the Navigator panel.

    Yes (to a degree). You can build your own custom DNG camera profiles, that's a good first start. Then you could edit them using the free DNG Profile Editor from Adobe. I'd start with custom profiles for each camera and see if that produces an acceptable match among them.

  • Dialpad not showing numbers pressed during a call

    During a call ( eg: automate service call, the one which require you to press certain number during a call ),
    when I press the numbers on the dialpad,  the numbers won't display on screen.
    The numbers I press actually goes thru the line, because the other side of the phone line does responds correctly to the number I pressed.
    Also, I can hear the dial pad touch tones.
    I also have a Xperia Z, and the numbers show up fine.
    It's not the proximity sensor problem. The sensor works fine.
    I've tried Force Stop the dialer app, restart the phone ( normal power off and turn off by the little button next to the sim card),
    all doesn't work.
    I don't want to Factory reset yet, because I don't want to lose all setting and data.

    If clearing the app data does not work then please do try a software repair:
    1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

    2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

  • Component parameters not showing

    Hi - I have a series of components I've written in AS3 that work fine in CS3 & CS4. In the Flash CS5 authoring environment, the parameters are not visible in the Component Parameters section of the Property Inspector. The really strange thing is that if I create a .fla in CS4 with the same components on the stage, and then open that doc in Flash CS5, the parameters are visible and work.
    Any ideas for how to fix this? What changed in CS5 to make them not work?
    Notes:
    I've rebuilt the .swc files in CS5 - doesn't fix it
    I created an .mxp file for the components and installed with Adobe Extension Manager CS5 - doesn't fix it
    The standard components that come with CS5 work fine
    My components work fine other than not being able to access the parameters
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    .phil

    I think there are several problems going on in the change from CS4 to CS5 with regard to components. But I did find a fix to the problem I had, which is that in components that I built myself, inspectable parameters that worked fine in CS4 did not show up in CS5 (note that parameters moved their location in CS5 - in CS4 they were visible in the Component Inspector panel, in CS5 they accessible in the Properties panel).My components still worked, and were visible in the Components panel, just no parameters.
    Here's the solution. When coding a component, you define your inspectable parameters in some code like this:
    private var _controller:String = "arduino";
    [Inspectable (name = "controller", variable = "controller", type = "String", enumeration="arduino,make,xbee,osculator,inputSource", defaultValue="arduino")]
    Elsewhere in the code, you define your getter and setter functions:
    public function get controller():String { return _controller; }
    public function set controller(value:String):void {
       _controller = value;
       draw();
    Based on the examples I had seen when I first started creating components, I put the definition right at the beginning of my class definition, and my getters/setters at the end. Well, in CS5, this approach does not work. To make inspectable parameters work, the definition and getter/setters functions must be together in the code! I put mine right at the end of the class. Like this:
    private var _controller:String = "arduino";
    [Inspectable (name = "controller", variable = "controller", type = "String", enumeration="arduino,make,xbee,osculator,inputSource", defaultValue="arduino")]
    public function get controller():String { return _controller; }
    public function set controller(value:String):void {
       _controller = value;
       draw();
    Here's where I found the solution: http://f9foractions.tumblr.com/post/903211215/inspectable-parameters-not-showing-up-on-cus tom
    Hope this helps!
    If you are curious about my components, they are a free system to enable people to work with sensors etc. with the Arduino and other hardware in Flash with no coding required.

  • Mode on t5i not showing

    I bought a t5i less than 6 months ago and now for some reason the mode is not showing on the screenwhen changing the different modes. Is there a setting for this ?  I can turn the dial however nothing shows on the screen.Any advice or setting ?

    1. If something is blocking the sensor just below the flash hotshoe the LCD won't turn on.
    2. Pressing the INFO button can turn off the display; this effect is canceled if the camera is turned off and back on again.
    3. If these two don't resolve it sounds like camera would need repair.

  • ITunes does not show up on apple tv 1st gen.

    i have a 1st gen apple tv with the 160 gig HD. recently, it will not show the itunes site. Under teh movies tab there are my movies and trailers and that's it. Does anyone know how to get the itunes store back on apple tv?

    Known issue currently, you'll need to wait for the fix.

  • My downloaded text sounds do not show up under the sounds tab in settings after installing 8.1.1. can someone help me please?

    i downloaded a couple text tones and since installing 8.1.1, they will not show up under the sounds tab. in fact, they do not show up in my recent purchases on itunes, but when i go to buy them again, it says that i have already bought this tone. I just want to use the tones i paid for as the tones on my phone. not asking much.... thanks for the help. i hope someone can help me get the tones working. thank you.

    This was happening to me too but only for some of my songs. I have a mac so I dunno about PCs, but for most of my ringtones I had to create an ACC version in itunes to make them short enough then turn that into a m4r and those all worked fine. But if the song was already short enough and I didn't create an ACC version and just turned the original into a m4r, then it wouldn't appear in my itunes.
    so if you're on a mac:
    1. go to get info, options, pick when you want the song to start and end.
         Has to be pretty short to work, 30 second or less is good
         if it's already short enough that's fine
    2. right click and click 'create ACC version'
         a copy with the length you put in will appear, drag that into a folder or whatever and just type in m4r where m4a would be
         still make an ACC version even if it's the right length
    Hopefully this helps someone else.

  • Internet Streams in Playlists do not show up on Apple TV

    I use the following setup:
    - Apple TV MD199LL/A (Software 6.0.1) just updated to the latest
    - iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (from a Windows 7 x64)
    - iTunes 11.1.3 for MAC (from a Apple MacBook Pro x64, Maverix)
    Homesharing is turned on both computers
    From both machines I share pictures, videos and music.
    All photos, videos and music files are getting displayed  on the Apple TV menu, and can be played.
    All iTunes playlists from both machines are  getting displazed on the Apple TV
    BUT!
    If a internet stream is added to a playlist, this entry does not show on the Apple TV menu.
    If the playlist contains only internet streams the Apple TV menu says "There are no songs in this library"
    If I hit the play key on my remote, it  will randomly play the first stream in the playlist (not realy reproducable pattern)
    I can play those streams in iTunes and send it via AirPlay without problems,
    Can anyone help me with this and tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    Thank you

    You can only view that rental on the iPad. For it to show up it has to be rented directly on ATV or through a computer and streamed via home sharing

  • When I sync my iPod to my MacBook through iTunes new events do not show up and old events are not deleted. I am using Snow Leopard  and not iSync.

    I am using Snow Leopard on a MacBook. I have an iPod touch 3G. I do not use iSync it Mobile Me. When I sync my iPod through iTunes new events on my iPod do not show up on my Mac and old events do not delete. I have read help instructions that include deleting the data on the iPod. The iPod has the correct data and the Mac does not so I have not followed those instructions. I need help as the only reason I bought the Mac was to be able to sync, back up, view and print my calendar. Currently it is useless. • Synced videos do not show up on iPod

    Every time I sync my iPod with iTunes, although iTunes says the videos are synced, they do not show up in the Video app on the iPod.
    This is a fairly new problem.  All these videos have been synced before and they all showed up just fine in the Video app, but as of late the iPod does not show them.  Searching for them yields no results.
    The videos are in a compatible format and do not have an extremely high definition.  Again, I do not think the problem is with the videos, because previously I was able to view them all just fine.
    I have at least 1G of memory left, 2G without syncing the videos.
    I have erased and re-synced them in iTunes, to no avail.  I can play the videos on the iPod from iTunes, but not on the actual iPod device.  I'm using windows iTunes, and it is up to date.  The iPod software is up to date.  I don't want to do a restore because I've already done that multiple times for multiple issues, but if that's what I have to do, I will. It's a pretty old iPod.  I'm syncing with a third-party Duracell cable, but I really don't think that's the problem.
    I'm not sure what it means, but in iTunes I have checked the option that reads, "Prefer standard definition videos".  Syncing with that option unchecked changes nothing so far as I can tell.

  • Files do not show up on HDD

    I tried to get an answer through the iTunes community, and was advised to try here instead as it didn't have anything directly to do with iTunes
    Not all iTunes Files not showing up on External HDD
    So in a nutshell, all of my 35'000 iTunes files (actual MP3 files) were saved on a TC 2.0TB disk and used on multiple Mac's to pull music from. All music files would be saved and streamed wirelessly from this TC and nowhere else.
    I would always add files to this external wireless client and iTunes would work flawlessly playing whatever song I chose through the library.
    If I would go in to the iTunes directory (path) and look up files on the HDD the files were just not there (but if clicking on the link through iTunes - show in finder - they would appear on the HDD but only through this method). I gave it no further thought until my TC died (i.e. no longer powers up) on me...
    I removed the HDD from the TC and placed it in an USB cradle and after looking into the iTunes folder there are only a fraction of the folders / files much less than expected... When I do a cmd-I I'm told that there are 35'000 files, but they just won't show up.
    Any ideas on how i can get all the files to be displayed as I want to copy these over on a new TC and need to map iTunes to this new location/path?
