in my project there r employee are involved in the internal activities and all there salaries are different, so in project our cost is the employees and salary is the main component of the cost in project so is there any link so that we can link salary of the employee to the project. is there any link between hr and ps related to salary as cost.

The Employee payroll will be run from HR & booked to costcenter ,the salary will be paid to employee based on payroll,There is no link in this with PS.
You can do onething you can define activity for the each employee & assign to workcenter aganst the costcenter & whenever the confirmantion has deen done for the internal activities against the employee the cost will be booked to costcenter.
In the month end you can compare with the actual cost booking of employee through internal activities & payroll cost of employee.
You can book the time confirmation using confrmation or cats also.

And i have checked the corresponding condition type (PRSX) of service entry sheet pricing procedure in my SAP system, this is a self-defined condition type, but NO any calculation routine maintained for the condition type (PRSX), how did the condition type (PRSX) know to copy the total cost of shipment cost document?
Below is the example and another question:
what the relationship between the pricing procedures at service PO item level and service line item level?

Asset Cost not transferred from Asset Clearing to Asset Cost Account

Hi,
There has been a manual Asset-123 added for which the asset cost has not been transferred from the Asset Clearing to Asset Cost Account.
While, the other additions done for other entities have been transferred successfully.
Im trying to figure what could be the issue..

Standard COGS cannot be Transferred from Sales Order to Billing Document

I did a test in current client with the following steps:
Create Sales Order for Configurable Material -> Execute Sales Order Costing Run, marked and Saved the result via CK51 -> Create Prodcution Order for such Sales Order -> Confirm Prod Order -> Conduct GR per the Prod Order -> Conduct Goods Delivery for the Sales Order-> Create Billing.
(There is not any costing value during the whole process)
There are many Value Fields in the CO-PA document regarding to this billing, the value of standard COGS items(including Material Cost, Period Machine, Variable Labor etc) are also included and their value are expected to be transferred from Sales Order. However, in my testing, those COGS value failed to be transferred to Billing document. I am not sure whether there is any config related. (KEPC hs already been done in such case). Would any expert can help on that?

en, It is solved now. Untick "Transfer aux. CC Split" in KE40, then the value can transported to billing.

Well as far as I can tell the only developed alternative to Apple is Microsoft, sure you want to go there?
iCloud (and Mobile Me before it) are consumer level systems, working correctly they are a poor choice for business use, if you want to stay all Mac try Zimbra if you can let a little Microsoft in the mix use Microsoft Exchange (Mail, iCal & Address Book are compatible as clients), hosted Exchange systems cost about $10 per month.
Or try to fix what is wrong with your installation (which is clearly not running as it should)

No. Profit center has statistical postings only. Real costs (which can be distributed) are contained on other cost objects: Cost Centers, Internal Orders, WBS, etc...

Costs are not directly posted to a Profit center instead they are posted to a cost center which is assigned to a profit center. You can posts the costs from a cost center to a WBS element thru Allocations ex: Assessment.

Posting Error when Employee Transferred from 1 Company Code to another

Dear All,
I am working on 2 company codes and I am facing a problem in Payroll posting to finance when employees of 1 company code are transferred to the other company code if there is Retro Accounting for the employee.
For Eg. 1 employee is transferred from Company Code 1000 to Company Code 2000 in the month of September. But the employee has taken 3 days of unpaid leave in August and the same was not updated in the system in August before the payroll of August. So in september when the payroll is processed, retro accouting happens and the amount for 3 days is deducted in september.
But when I am making a posting to finance it is giving me Error in posting as "Posting balance is not cleared (Period 08 / 2011 P)".
I have activated the PPMOD Feature and have done all the necessary configurations.

Dear Vijay...
Basically its better to rehire the employee in other company code rather than to transfer from one company code to another. because every company code has its own financial structure and error is cuming due to this.
Now u have to check few things...
1. Ask the Costing (CO) team to open the entries in last period 08/2011 and then check the posting.
2. If error will not resolve then check the wagetype permisibility for Personnel Areas and Employee Groups.
3. If error is still there, then ask the finanacial team to change the profit centers of those cost center which are related to that particular employees.
I hope ur issue will be resolved within these three solutions.

hi,
transfer of cost from sub item to main item is configured in the delivery to billing copy control for the main item. go to VTFL > select the required item cateogry > here at the bottom you will find a check box Cummulate cost. Tick it.
Not really what you meant COPA purposes. But the pricing conditions are mapped to COPA value fields at KE4I transaction.

How to view data in SNC after getting transferred from ERP

Hi all
I have transferred material ,vendor, customer ,scheduling agreement ,demand from ERP to SNC system.
Now I want to view this demand in SNC. What I have done is in SNC is I opened supplier view.
In supplier view, I opened SMI monitor. Now when I click on F4 help of product I am not able to view the material
which I had transferred. Same is the case with location.
I know that in SNC, in order to view data following assignment is required.
Material  Location  Business Partner ( Org ) --- > BP ( Person )  User.
Now I have assigned Material to location .
Location to BP ( Org ).
BP ( org ) to BP ( Person ).
BP ( Person ) to user.
But still I am not able to view the data in F4 help ( For SMI overview screen ).
Next I learnt about Selection modes in SNC.I think I need to assign selection mode u201CPDNF_NEWu201D
To application ID of SMI overview screen in order to view Product and location in F4 help.
If I am correct than please let me know how should I proceed. Else please let me know

I have done what you mentioned but still could not see the data in SNC Web UI.
Let me explain once again.
Consider a case when Panasonic ( Supplier ) is managing inventory for Walmart ( Customer ).[ VMI scenario ]
Now
Step 1 : Walmart will create Material,Location,SA ,demand in his ERP.
Step2 : Master data with demand will get transferred to from customers ERP system to SNC system.
I can see Product and location by SNC -- > Master data -- > Product/Location.
Till this point everything is fine.
Next I have done following.
Assign my user to Business Partner of type org ( Customer ).
Location is assigned to Business partner.( Customer ) as material will be shiped to customer location.
Location is assigned to model 000
Material is assigned to Location and Planning version 000.
Now logically assignement is as follows.
User -- > BP --> Location --> Material.
Now when I go to customer view ,in product and location,I should be able to see my product and Location.
But I am not able to see.
Could you help where I am going wrong.

In photos: I have tried to select and delete some duplicate pictures that I transferred from my other iPhone 5S on this new iPhone 5S and when I select the only options available is moving the photos or email/text. I cannot put in trash bin

How did you transfer the photos from your other iPhone? If you did it by importing them from the old phone to a computer and then used iTunes to sync them back to the new phone, then you would delete them by syncing again using iTunes but this time change the selection of which photos are to be synced. Each time you sync using iTunes, it sets the non-Camera Roll photos on the phone to match the current settings/selection in iTunes.

I have 2 new HDs (each 1T) uninstalled, and I have my old HD (160 gigs) currently residing in one of the two slots in my G5. Any ideas on the best way/process to get the data transfered from the old HD to the new ones, leaving my two slots filled with the 2 new drives AND my data from the old HD transfered and intact, with a RAID0 setup?
OR, are there any other suggestions on a good setup with the 2 new HDs??
I'm open to suggestions.
I always back-up on external HDs, so, is their a need for me to worry about setting up a RAID0??
I'm doing video processing for DVD release.
Should I just max out the 2x1T gig HDs and not worry about a HD failure??

You are limited with only 2 drive slots. In this scenario what usually works best is a small fast drive (eg Velocirapter or SSD) for OSX/Applications and a large drive for video files. It is not advisable to have the operating system running from a striped array.
Since you already have the drives, here is what you can do.
Install one new drive and format the partition you wish to use for OSX. You may not want to use the whole drive for OSX, so make 2 partitions. Be sure that it is GPT-formatted so it can boot.
Use CarbonCopy Cloner to copy your current OSX partition to the new one.
Set the startup disk as the new partition.
Remove the old drive and replace it with the second new one.
Reboot, and partition/format new drive.

Thanks for the advice. That sounds like a good set-up. I'll have to research the process of doing what you've advised, but, should work out ok:

2. GPT is also done under Disc Utilities, correct? Here I start to get a bit confused, as I've formatted Extended Journal, SO, the partition with the OSX & Applications is formatted GPT, and the rest of the HD is formatted as Extended Journal?
C. Use CarbonCopy Cloner to copy your current OSX partition to the new one.
3. So, I partition the first new HD and use Carbon Copy Cloner (also under Disc Utilities) to copy the OSX & Applications from my original HD to the first new HD, correct?
D. Set the startup disk as the new partition.
4. This will be an option when I setup the partition???
E. Remove the old drive and replace it with the second new one.
F. Reboot, and partition/format new drive.
5. QUESTION: So, you recommend not striping the HDs: If I do a RAID 1, which sets up a mirror of the HDs, and since the first new HD is partitioned with the OSX & Applications, AND is set up as the Startup Disk, then the second new HD will also mirror that?? Another QUESTION: Even if the second new HD does not mirror the OSX & Applications, the second HD will only mirror the space/partition not utilized by the OSX & Applications partition, correct?

OK I will try to answer your questions. To begin, if you want to mirror the 2 drives then you will need to boot from the SL install DVD or an external (USB/firewire) drive to set it up. IMO for your purposes it is too much hassle and a waste of HD space.
1) Yes partitions are created in Disk Utility
2) Yes, you choose a volume Scheme (ie number of partitions) and size them by dragging the separator bar. Then select the planned boot partition and click Options..., then choose GPT. I think it is usually the default but check and make sure. Extended journaled is the usual format.
3) You need to download Carbon Copy. It is a free tool that will copy the entire image of your current system partition to the new one and make it bootable. Consider making a donation as it is a very useful and frequently updated utility. It is fairly intuitive to use. You can also use the restore feature in Disk Utility but I have had more experience with Carbon Copy.
4) Once the copy process is finished the new boot partition will show up under the startup disk selections (this tool is in System Preferences).

If may i correct one thing: OP, don't choose GPT (GUID Partition Table). You got PPC Mac (G5), so valid partition type for you is Apple Partition Map (APM).
GPT is for Intel Macs and you will not able to boot from this kind of partition.

A1: You also want to make sure the drive you are backing up to is formatted Mac HFS Extended (HFS+) if using Mac OS 8.1 or above.
A2: On PowerPC Macs, your clone should be partitioned as Apple Partition Map.

B: Also disable Spotlight (in 10.4 only) on your destination drive using Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Spotlight -> Privacy to add the destination drive to the pane.

C: If possible, boot into safe mode to perform the backup (holding the SHIFT key at startup). In addition, you can clone while logged into another administrative user that you don't use at all to avoid further complications of changes which may be happening to your regular user (though don't use Fast User Switching to get into that other user, since that other user is still active when fast user switching is used). Otherwise you are going to be running a backup on a live system which could have changes happening while you are attempting to backup. These may yield an imperfect clone, with uncertain success at recovery. It may be possible that your clone will have its own hardware issues, so make at least two copies.
