I have a similar problem! Windows 7 shutdown unexpectedly and since that I can not reboot in windows anymore only with safe mode where everything is a mess.
Also when it's trying to reboot in windows a blue window appears,says something about drivers and it is counting something (79.78...till100)but I m not able to read it cause it disappears immidiately and then black screen and then it turns to reboot in mac which works fine.
I m sorry if I confused you with my english...

You need to speak to the developer. They should have some sort of contact link on their iTunes page. This is just a user to user tech support forum, no one here has any sort of control over apple or what developers do.
The game developer may also have some sort of fix on their site, so look there.

Why does a .mov slideshow look much darker when played with idvd

I have created a .mov slideshow from iphoto. I now want to write it to a dvd using iDVD. When setting up the various dropzones the images look great. When I play the .mov in Quicktime, the images look great. When I preview the proposed DVD, all of the images look to contrasty / dark. Why is this and how can I fix it?

Me thinks you jest my good man.....
Again I repeat, in every other application, the images look the way they are meant to be.
Only in iDVD do they become "corrupted".
Anyone who has anything to do with digital imaging knows you should calibrate your monitors.
An industry standard calibrated environment is a must when dealing with a digital imaging environment.
iDVD is screwing up the images ad making them darker.
Quicktime isn't.
iPhoto isn't.
Photoshop isn't.
Capture One Pro isn't.
Adobe Bridge isn't.
Camera Raw isn't.
InDesign isn't.
Acrobat isn't.
I can list many more applications on both PCs and Macs that correctly display the images.
iDVD is the only one that screws them up!!!!!
Are you seriously suggesting that calibrating our monitors is the cause of iDVD displaying images incorrectly and different to all of the above mentioned software?

Latency when playing with my m-audio midi keyboard

There is a disturbing latency when I play the keyboard. I Have my buffersize to 128 so it should´nt be so long as I experience it.
Is there anyone who knows how to shorten it down?
I have a Roland Edirol fire wire FA 66 interface.

Only lowering your audio I/O buffer setting.Why?
Because the latency of the MIDI data getting into Logic cannot be changed,so you can only change the audio coming back out from Logic,by reducing the time it takes the audio to travel THRU your audio interface and to your speakers.

Possible to get Double Play with 105Mbps Internet?

Hello, due to the ridiculous data caps being enforced by Comcast, I am already 90% to my data cap 11 days into the month. I am willing to upgrade to the 105 internet to get double the cap, but based on the plans listed, the only way to do this is to switch from my 99.99/mo Double Play package to a 159/mo Triple Play package.
This is ridiculous. I am willing to spend 10-20 more a month for the faster speed, but not $60 more for service I don't even need. I'm sure by this point I've been flagged as a "problem customer" because I have had issue after issue with Comcast since my installation less than a month ago. To find out now that I will be spending huge overage fees in addition to what I'm already paying is just about the last straw...

Video not appearing when playing with QT Pro 7.7.2 on Win7.

I just transferred a video from my iPhone to my laptop using Google Drive. I can playback the video flawlessly using Windows Media Player, but when trying to playback using QT Pro 7.7.2 the video is all black. I've checked the Movie Properties and the video track is enabled.
Can anyone provide some guidance on why this might be happening and how to fix it?
This is my first experience using QT Pro and it's a bit frustrating.

OK so i found the solution myself - seems apple programmers have been not doing their jobs properly, to get this working the file name of the video that i want exported cannot be anything other than in 8.3 format (like old MS-DOS) but it's more than that, even if you do have the file in 8.3 format it still cant be in a directory that has a name longer than 8 characters, or which has spaces in it etc. so in my case i copied my video to c:\temp and renamed all of them to the old MS-DOS 8.3 format, now the export works... amazing I wonder how long i would have waited for apple support if i hadnt resolved this myself.

It only fails If I run this through systemctl, if I start mopidy from command line, it works without issue

It is probably a pulse access issue due to being run by root systemd vs. being run by the user. For now, I'm just using https://gist.github.com/Freso/7434553 - as the description says, place it in $HOME/.config/systemd/user (or rather: $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/systemd/user) and you can use the user-level systemd to manage it. E.g., `systemctl --user (start,restart,stop,enable,status,...) mopidy`.
If someone has a clue about the pulse issue, I'm all ears.

No auto answer when used with Hands Free system in Toyoya RAV 4

I can make outgoing calls using the hands free system in my Toyota RAV 4 but must manually answer all incoming calls. Is there any way to have the phone pick-up after a set number of rings..I did not have this problem with my Palm Treo 650.

I just got back from my dealer...bottom line, update works. It was a $99 charge, they ran into some issues, it was their first try at it. I brought a 2 GB usb stick with me, one I had lyling around, formated it, and let them use it. They said they could not give it back, since it would have their data on it...no big deal. Turns out, there was an issue with the USB stick I gave them, they had to go out and purchase on (not sure why they didn't have one on hand alread). I have about 8900 songs on my iPod, a few playlists. It took about 20 minutes or so to finish the loading, then when you try to use some voice commands, says you cannot do it while it's compiling songs or something to that effect. A few minuts, later, the voice commands worked. Only issue I see is that everytime I turn off the car, and get back in, it goes through the process of the load again. the 2nd time was a little quicker, but still took about 5-10 minutes, and again, had the delay of not being able to use the voice. IPad calendar problems when syncing with new operating system

I downloaded iOS snow leopard to my computer and then when I performed a sync with my IPAD the calendar got messed up with several old appointments and things cluttering it up. Is there a way to revert back to what I had before I performed the sync?

You should see if you have a backup of your device in iTunes. If you do, you can restore from that backup and get the correct information as it was at that time back onto your iPad. This article can help explain a little about restoring from a backup:

HT201365 I just downloaded IOS 7. In my old software if I wanted to get to spotlight to find something I just scrolled from left to right from my home screen. That doesn't work now...so how the heck to I get to spotlight with this new system???

I just upgraded to IOS 7. Prior to that upgrade if I wanted to get to spotlight search I just scrolled left to right from my home page and got it. Now...that doesn't work. How do I get to spotlight/search with IOS 7? Sheesh...why change such an easy basic thing anyway??? Can someone let me know please.

Now, you get to Spotlight by swiping down from the home screen, but do not start the swipe at the top of the screen. Start it in the middle somewhere.

No sound when playing burned DVD with Windows Media Player

I made a 10 minute movie which I burned , tested and delivered today.
But it turns out that when playing the DVD with WMP, there is no sound.
I had tested the movie playing it with powerDVD, and it worked as it should. When playing it with a normal DVD player and TV it works allright.
But I had not tested it with WMP. And sure enough, when playing it with WMP there is no sound!
The ones who will show the DVD will do it from a computer to a video projector, and maybe they don't have a "proper" DVD program installed. But I heard that there was sound when playing with "VLC" which is a relief.
But I feel the need to get to the bottom of why there is no sound with WMP? Any clues?

In NTSC-land, one has but two choices: PCM/WAV or DD AC3, which is a particular "flavor" of MPEG. In PAL-land, one does have the option of MPEG (not DD AC3) as an option, but that seems to be falling out of favor.
When MS was re-tooling WMP, they wanted to add back the functionality of commercial (pressed/replicated) DVD's, but sought to limit any burned DVD's. Do not know what the mindset is now, so much could have changed with a few iterations of WMP. I have to admit that I just do not reach for it that often.
In the Project, or Disc, menus, one can tell En which Audio Transcoding to use. As John T, suggests, I would definitely do a test with PCM/WAV, and X my fingers.
If your client(s) is/are set on WMP as the player, there is hopefully a scheme that you can get to work. Also, remember that some older versions of WMP might not play the DVD at all, unless one finds the right plug-in, that basically hacked the intended setup in those older versions. Just like when delivering to a client, and not knowing their systems' calibration, or setup, trying to cover every base in a particular player software might involve a lot of work, and prayer.

Humming noise when playing games

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me solve a buzzing noise I'm getting when playing games.
I have a x-fi fatalty, gtx 480 in SLI and a x58a-ud3r motherboard and for the most part the x-fi works fine, however when I play 3d games I get a very irritating buzzing sound coming from the speakers while playing.
Things I've tried...
Switching off SLI / only having one graphics card installed - no difference
Wrapping the x-fi in electrical tape to stop interference - no difference
Switching the pcie slot - no difference
Latest BIOS - no difference
Trying x-fi different drivers - no difference
Using on board audio - no buzzing at all
Switching off 3d audio and crystallizer- reduces buzzing significantly but?still?there!
I'm out of ideas now... anyone else had this problem?

Well, I got Windows 7, I cleaned the inside which was quite dusty. I launched Left 4 Dead, had a minute of calm, then the sound of my fan started to increase slowly to the point when it sounds a bit like when you turn a Mac Pro on. It seems slightly better though. Probably by doing a full cleaning of the inside I could make it a bit less noisy.

Why do my DV files look better when played in MPEG Streamclip than iMovie?

My home movie DV files look washed out (compared to what my tapes looked like I played them on the TV years ago) when played with both iMovie '06 and iMove '11. The claim has been made that if I retransfer my tapes using iMovie '06 (rather than '09, which I used last time, or '11), there will be a dramatic improvement in the visual quality (and there will be some unspecified benefits if I set the dial to 48K audio). HOWEVER, if I play the files I already have in MPEG Streamclip, the visual quality improves substantially without any retransfer. Here is my question: Why? Why do my iMovie-imported files look better in MPEG Streamclip than in iMovie?
Here is my layman's answer: algorithms. When MPEG Streamclip encounters the exact same arrangements of molecules (or whatever), it has some plan for what to do with them that is smarter than what iMovie does. Is this another sign or way that iMovie is not well suited for DV?
