I am sorry if my inquiry here seem dumb but I am a new iMovie user and cannot figure this out. I inserted a png image into my video clip in the project as PIP, I can see it and move it and can also see it playing with the main clip if I move the play head manually, I can also see the PIP part only playing along with the undelying main clip if I use the Play button in the preview window when the PIP section is selected, however, for the life of me I cannot get it to play with the main clip all together for previewing the entire video via the video play button. What happens is that the video plays normally and when the PIP section comes in, the video clip stop all motion during the duration of the PIP section and the PIP image itself is simply NOT showing. Am I missing something really stupid here? It seems as it the Picture On Picture is a separate clip that plays with the underlying main video clip if selected and played by itself but it is not part of the video clip and will not play with it. What am I missing here, can anyone please help?
ShonyThe easiest way to get up and running is to convert your MP3s to MP4s (obviously there won't be a video track). The following link links to a file that was an MP3 that I converted to an MP4 using QT Player Pro. When you go to export the files, make sure you click on "Options" and then check the box for "Enable Streaming" in the Streaming tab. It should stream flawlessly using QT Player. rtsp://rhsstreamit.rih.org/testmp4/Scorpion.mp4
Make sure you place the media to be streamed in the proper folder. You should only get a "404" message if the physical file doesn't exist.

Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow. -
Mac Pro auto locked . When I try with original password system didn't open .and it did bring forgot password or password hint also ? What could be the reason ?

from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart. -
Hi, basically i have no sound at all on my Iphone, it doent notify me when i get a text, when someone rings, when i play music or watch videos, the volume slider that is usually present while watching videos or listening to music is no longer there at all, ive turned my phone on and off a couple of times now ive put headphones in and out to see if i had a sticky jack but still no luck Someone help??
And to clarify, these are all iTunes movie and music downloads, so there should not be a compatability issue. And no, the iPod did not come damaged from Apple, it was a hand-me-down from a friend who busted the internal speaker. But it's never done anything like this before. It just had crappy sound. And yes, the timing of the movies and music having issues is the same as the speaker dying. And no, this has NOTHING To do with music videos. I don't have any on any of our devices.

When I buy a pre order song how do I get it to play with the rest of the CD?
When I buy a pre-order song from i tunes, and then purchase the CD the song was from it will not play with the rest of the CD.
Example: Tori Amos's new CD Unrepentant Geraldines
I purchased the single Trouble's Lament when it was released, before the CD.
I just purchased the CD and the song should be #2 on the CD, but its not there, it is listed separately, and will not play with the CD.
Also, other issue... Free U2 CD, it says its in my Library when I clicked on the CD add in the store. It's nowhere to be found in my library!! I really would love to listen to it since I have several of there CD's and am a big fan
If anyone can help with either of these issues , I would greatly appreciate it.For the single, if you select the track in your library and do 'get-info' (control-I) on it and select its Summary tab on the popup are its details (e.g. album name and artist) the same as for the other tracks on the album ?
For the U2 album you should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it, though that might have been fixed by now).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download. -

I am running on windows xp with upgrade 2. (I can not upgrade to 3 without crashing my system. Not even with hp's "fix" unless they've licked that calf over again.)

Using an IRC Library, I can't get it to play with the Form at all!
I'm having a problem getting my IRC Client to work. I normally don't use winforms or WPF, I chose WinForms because it was slightly easier to work with, I'm not new to threading, but I have no idea how this works.
Problem: When I start the application it doesn't even start the thread, or the Program.cs Main() function. It just hangs around, being a Gooey.

Cant get a stream play with sound
i have a lg 7s20 phone dowmloaded Ff..to stream live news wten live stream out of albany ny..it worked for 3 week now i can see video and no sound and a video not found error comes up while playing the video with now sound?..i have done everything that i can think of to try and fix this!..its not the phone its a month old and other streams run and work fine! Its virgin mobile too...please help!
When the video has focus the sound can be adjusted but if you tap outside the video or pan the screen the focus is removed from the video and adjusting the sound of Flash is prevented.
Android has several sound levels. The guaranteed way to change the sound level is to use the Android settings.

When song played with surround sound, vocals removed! :O
hi all, hope you can help.
first of all, why any1 would want to play music thats recorded/editted and mixed using 2 channels in surround sound is beyond me, but some people do, or even may do it accidentally.
i finished editting some songs the other day and sent them over to the guy putting them out, 1 song has the main vocal completely centered, no panning whatsoever, sounds fine through speakers/headphones, but if surround is activated, the vocals completely dissapear.
i think this has something to do with surround not playing what is mixed dead centered, but was wondering 1. why? and 2. if theres anything i can do as a quick fix without having to mess with the song too much, and 3. how would i avoid this in the future, without having to duplicate the track and pan each 25 each way?

andythanks, maybe if i new abit more about surround that would help, i actually managed to recreate what was happening by oing into the mixer and clickin sum to mono on the vocals tracks (what does "summed" means in this context?).
ive come to the conclusion that whoever plays the tracks in surround isnt going to hear the main vocal, but i am really baffled by this as, as im sure you guys now how useful the centre channel remover function thingy for removing lead vocals, which suggests to me that a lot of music has the lead vocal completely centered, yet ive never heard any other song in surround that has had the lead vocal completely removed (admittedly if you mute the music track the vocal is there very, VERY slightly, but the difference is astonishing, i wish i could demonstrate it.
does any1 have any examples of a song which is effected in a similar way? or have you guys noticed this with your work (also, i recorded an entire album with aud 1.5 with lots of centered lead vocals and never had this problem).

Cannot get amarok to play with cron
I used to have this in Ubuntu, I use gnome-schedule GUI for cron and have some other cronjobs working fine. But amarok will not play (I like to use it as a wake-up alarm). I have:
15 7 * * * export DISPLAY=:0 && amarok -t
But it doesn't work. I've tried "amarok -t" in quotes, no go. When I hit amarok -t in a terminal it play/pauses fine.This is from my testing the cronjob last night, from /var/log/crond:

the movie i put into my computer so that I can watch it on my TV wont display the picture when i turn apple mirroring on. it works without it but I want to be able to watch a movie with friends on my tv. please help!
no I meant that I put a DVD into my computer and when I tried to mirror it, the picture wouldnt display. the dvd worked fine without mirroring, so my question was why wasnt it mirroring the actual picture/movie? glad they have these discussion boards bc if i called and asked i would have been charged $19

Hi. I have the Apple connector kit...and actually played Garageband via my M-Audio Oxygen 25-keyboard thru my iPad2--without a powered hub.
But that was two month ago.
Now...I can't get it to play--with volume. I can hear the notes...but faintly. And I have pushed ALL possible volume controls up (Keyboard & iPad).
I know the keyboard is triggering, because I tested it on a MacBook: got full volume, just like before.
But just can't get full volume from the iPad2. I got a 4-port USB hub...and tried interfacing it between the keyboard and the connector kit/iPad2. But still no volume. It's almost like a switch is off in the iPad???

i didn't really dare to delete the blue home folders before, just in case everything went wrong, but now i think i have so little space that i can't afford to lose 2.25gb!
one thing that slightly worries me is the fact that the 'proper' library folder (in the home icon) is 2.09gb, whereas the 'wrong' one (from the blue folder forenamesurname) is 2.24gb - this is the one i would be deleting. just seems odd to delete a larger file than the one i presume i'm using.
"Move everything you want to keep out of the blue folders, and then place both of the folders on your desktop. If everything works properly after a few days, delete both folders. If you are asked for your administrator password at any point or if either folder is copied instead of moved when dragged, don't delete that folder."
by 'everything you want to keep', does this include the library folder? 'cause there doesn't seem to be much else, and i'm not sure if deleting the library folder would ruin all my preferences.
i've put both of the folders on the desktop, it didn't ask for the admin password or try to copy them, so i guess that's good news. what kind of things should i be looking out for to act differently?
are the folders not in use now that they are on the desktop?
also if i put them in the trash will they have no effect? i.e. the same as permanently deleting them, so i could put them in the trash as a test.
