Need 2 Move pc itunes & transfer to my mac itunes and toss the pc?
I've been reading for an hour about transferring from one itunes to another. I'm more confused. Here's my story.
I've got an old pc about to die and a new mac. Both computers have an itunes account with playlists I want to keep. How can I transfer my pc stuff to my mac and not interfere with what's on my mac?
Also, when I've made a file and tried to copy onto my mac it says it's too large for my flash drive and it doesn't work with my iphone. Do I connect the two computers?

If you have a new Mac, then the Apple Store will do this for you, or you can call Apple Support and they will help you do it.

I am a Vodafone customer and installed the Vodafone app which asks you to turn off wifi connection on installation as it needs to communicate with their servers over 3G.
After restoring the iPad via iTunes this is the only app that I did nor re-install and seems to be too much of coincidence that while in full screen view watching films my wifi is switched off and 3G data connection is established 10 - 15 minutes into a fiilm and my data allowance gets eaten up!
I would also get push notifications from Vodafone saying "my daily data usage was almost used" with this app installed.
Have tested and on 3rd time watching sky go still wifi is on after 30 mins.
DO NOT INSTALL VODAFONE APP FROM THE APP STORE. -
When I hook my ipad up to my computer it says it won't work because i need to go to itunes and download 10.6.3 update I am not able to figure how to do this H ELP!!!!

I add movies to iTunes which are stored on a network drive, and are not stored in the iTunes library.
When I remove these from iTunes, it does not trash the file on the disk.
Is there a simple way to remove the movie from iTunes, and trash the file, all in one go?
At the moment I do the following:
- ctrl-click
- show in finder
- trash file
- remove movie from iTunes
This is a tedious process, especially when I want to get rid of multiple movies.
I could probably write a script to do what I want, but surely there's a way built into iTunes, and I just haven't found it yet.

It's a bit slow though, and has too many dialogs for my liking, so I may edit it, to see if I can speed things up a bit.

I rented a movie in iTunes and connected my iPad to transfer the movie to the iPad. The rental section will not pop-up and I have confirmed the movie is not an HD movie. Any suggestions on what to do next?
I would ask iTunes Store support for help with this. You may never be able to get the movie to download on your own now.
Go here and then tap on Connecting and downloading, then tap on Movie Rentals. You can have someone contact you, you can chat online or you can get email support. I would opt for the phone call or online chat.

I need to move my iTunes library to an external hard drive
I need to move my iTuns library to an external hard drive in order to free up space on my macbook pro. I've checked the external hard drive & it is playing my iTunes fine. I've moved the iTunes folder on my macbook to the trash can. Is there anything else I need to do before emptying it from the trash can?
Sounds like you are OK. Be sure to open iTunes then preferences. Click on Advanced icon in toolbar. Set the path to your media folder in the field where you should see the path to the original location. Or, you can hold down the OPTION key while starting iTunes and choosing the library you wish to use.
This should be it. If all is working well delete the data in the Trash. Now, if it were me I would have a backup somewhere just in case. Better safe than sorry. -
how to transfer info to a mac book pro from a pc i need to get my iTunes and other iTunes related items off of my old computer so i can sync my phone and get my music.
I have already tranferd some info to an external hard drive i just need to get my itune items. also i have heard if you plug your phone to a differnt computer you lose of you information.

We bought and downloaded a movie from Itunes and trying to transfer it onto an USB some can play it back on a TV. We cannot move it onto the stick. It says the stick is too small but thats actually not the case. Rainer
Films from the iTunes store have digital-rights-management on them, they can only be played via a computer's iTunes or device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV). If you don't have Apple TV then do you have a iOS device, and the relevant cables, to connect it to your TV and apply it via the device - or if you bought it on a computer is that close enough (and you have the relevant cable) to connect it to your TV ?

I rented a movie on iTunes and it now has filled my hard drive and has taken up all my harddrive space.....How can I remove the after math of the rented movie and fix this problem..? Oddly enough it does show the startup drive is not full.
In iTunes select the movie and hit Delete. Follow the prompts and then empty the trash.
