Need 750+ computers removed from FCS Admin Console

Hi, I'm a noob with FCS, so please pardon me if I sound stupid.
My requirement is to remove like 750+ computers from the Forefront Client Security Admin Console. We generally follow the following steps to remove a computer:
Go to the console, expand Administration -> Computers -> Agent-managed Computers
Select the computer that we want to remove, right-click and select Force to Unmanaged Management Mode
Go to Unmanaged Computers and remove the computer from there
Go to Computer Discovery Rules and remove the rule that discovers the computer intended to be removed
This plainly cannot be done on 750+ computers one-by-one because it will consume A LOT of my time. Is there a script or anything that can help me achieve this?

Gateways can't be restarted from the Admin Console

Hi,
We have two gateways and two servers setup. We have changed the names of the gateways after we completed the installation. everything works fine except that the gateways can't be restarted from the admin console. The administration guide says that this happens for one of two reasons. I have checked both and non of them applied. I am afraid that this is an indication of more serious issue. Any help ?

I found out that we had the old gateways names in ips.gateway.host inside /etc/opt/SUNWips/platform.conf on both gateways.
when i replaced the old name with the new one and restarted the gateways, i could restart them from the admin console

Infopath form not removed from central admin after retracting the solution

I have InfoPath form admin appvoed deployed through Stat machine workflow when I retracting some forms are not removing from Central admin
when trying to deploying it says

try to use force command to uninstall/remove solution,then only add solution.
if this not work out then first uninstall feature using force and manually delete feature folder from file system inside layouts.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

User being removed from Domain Admins...how to find all servers his account is being used.

We have a user that is being removed from IT (more like being forcefully demoted) and our owner still finds him valuable in other departments. My challenge is to find all servers that he may be using his account locally on (as a service or added to a local
admin group). It hasn't happened yet, but we need to be prepared to say we know all the servers his account is on when the owner demotes him.
I'm hoping someone has an approach to this that doesn't include going through tons of Event Viewer Security logs. We do have System Center Configuration Manager and Operations Manager 2012 w/ SP1, but the guy that is responsible for those is the guy we are removing
and none of us are aware on how to use the possible tools that those have. If you feel that those would do the trick then please point me to a "how to" and I'll try to learn on the fly. Otherwise I'll take any other suggestions.

When I run Advanced System Care by IoBit I always get many privacy issues that need to be removed from my computer and I would like to have Firefox stop this.

I run Advanced System Care 7 by IoBit on my computer daily. It always finds dozens if not hundreds of privacy issues caused by FireFox that need to be removed. I would like to continue using Firefox but will uninstall it if the program keeps causing so much clutter on my machine. I have a Compaq Presario F730US running Vista Home Premium. I do not want FireFox to place ANY cookies or other items on my computer.

So first off, Advanced system care is a piece of junk. It does nothing to improve computer security or performance, and can actually harm your computer. I strongly suggest you remove any iobit products immediately and find a real anti-virus.
Second, cookies can be controlled. They aren't placed on your computer by Firefox, but by websites. You would find that no matter what browser you use you will have cookies from websites you visit.

Managing mime types from the Admin Console

default mime types for a web application can be set from the Administration
Console:

I have several questions:
1. If this is accurate, how?
2. What are the default mime types for a web application?

Starting from WebLogic 12.1.2, Coherence servers are just regular Managed Servers. They're managed equally to avoid confusion.
Create a regular managed server and in the "Coherence" tab of this managed server you can set if this instance will be storage-enabled or even if will share HttpSession through Coherence web.
All Coherence managed servers should be part of the same Coherence cluster, in order they can exchange data.

Creating Coherence Servers from the Admin Console

We have recently purchased and installed Coherence 12c (12.1.2) and we are having a heck of a time figuring out where to create a Coherence Server in the Admin Console. Under Environment, there is an option to for Servers, Clusters, and Coherence Clusters, but nothing for "Coherence Servers". We tried to build a cluster of servers from the "Servers" section but they are simply WebLogic instances.
It feels like I have an outdated Admin Console or I am missing a plug-in or something.
Can someone direct me to the correct Admin Console GUI to create "Coherence Servers" (which run DefaultCacheServer-backed processed)?

Reinstalling exchange 2013 after installing it before, what needs to be removed from AD?

I feel stupid asking this but here goes,
I have a single Exchange 2007 server with all roles and mailboxes on it. I had built an Exchange 2013 SP1 server and added to the domain and existing Exchange site, moved a test mailbox to it and confirmed transport was working ok between servers and outbound
and inbound. That was all.
I decided I wanted to partition the hard drive after all of this was done, so I needed to wipe everything out and start over. I know since it was added to the domain, that I need to remove some things before I start fresh again. I have no idea what to look
for or remove.
So, I need to know, can I simply build another fresh Exchange 2013 and add again to the domain and exchange site? Should I call it the same? Or something different?
Should I use ADSI edit to clean up AD before building the new server? If so, what do I look for and clean/remove? Any help/advice would be gratefully received.

According your description, I know that you want to reinstall Exchange 2013 in multi environment.
I agree with ED, in addition you need to move mailbox from current mailbox to another before freshing.
Note: Microsoft don’t recommend that you use ADSI Edit unless intend to immediately reinstall the server in the same administrative group.

Find out,the datafile belongs to which tablespace. Then,
If a tablespace contains multiple datafiles, and you just want to drop one or some of the datafiles and keep
the remaining datafiles together with the objects and contents, the objects or data must be exported for the
affected table space. Once exported, the tablespace can be dropped with the command
DROP TABLESPACE <tablespace name> INCLUDING CONTENTS AND DATAFILES;
If one or more datafiles is missing after a recovery process or accidental deletion, you can use
ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE <datafile name> OFFLINE DROP
command to make the datafile offline so that database can starts up after which the troubled tablespace can be dropped

Hi, all articles i read say that plus-hd-9.5 needs to be removed from the control panel, uninstall program page.... too bad that plus-hd-9.5 does not show up...

...on that page, nor anything unusual does. My avg antivirus picked up something two days ago and after that plushd stayed quiet for a bit, only to return later. Help!

You can remove it by going to:
*Firefox orange button
*Add-ons
*Extensions
*Find Plus-HD-9.5.0.94.32 and click Remove
*Restart Firefox if prompted to

Hi Samar,
EAS is not going to give you this. However there are some tools that will.
Accelatis Ascension Suite will provide a complete range capabilities to address what you require and much more. It will monitor your logs, track events you define, and take action(send email, kill process, etc) on failure or success.
If you want to go the free route, I think the first step is to take a look at jRightLog. It provides log tailing and parsing into a format where you can then store the data in a database somewhere for later analysis. Once you get the data in the database, you create a server to monitor it and provide feedback as it does.
