Need a automator script to sync 180 iPod's! help!

can someone tell me how to make this process more productive? maybe with a script or so?
i have to unbox 180 brandnew ipod shuffles,
- click "register later"
- accept terms u. conditions
- give ipod a name
- load one (1) song
- unmount ipod
then put a sticker on it, repack and send it to our customers for a x-mas gift!
i have tried with automator but somehow its not possible.

I need an automator script to play a folder of movies

I have a folder of quicktime movies. I have a Mac Mini with Lion. I have a TV. I need an automator script to grab the list of movie files from the folder and play them full-screen, one-by-one and then loop through the process to continue playing them, unattended, all day.
I cannot get the proper steps in automator to accomplish this (seems to me it should be easy) job.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know that Quick Look would display a folder of files one-by-one. Once I set the first file to full screen, the rest also played full screen one after the other. Now I need a way to automatically launch Quick Look, set full screen and loop. This site http://automator.us/leopard/downloads/index.html has an automator action that uses Quick View, but on my Lion machine it just displays the first movie and only the first frame of the movie. It stops at that point.

I need to know how to sync my iPod to my boyfriends computer so I can put some of his songs on my iPod,and he has iTunes as well. How do I do this?

Automator script to sync podcast folders

Hi everybody.
I would like to create an automator action to sync the podcasts between two itunes libraries, from my macbook to my mac mini and vice versa. The mini is my living room mac, the macbook is used at work during the day but also in my home office after work and on the weekends. I sync my iphone with this macbook and it's itunes library.
So the idea is to
a) always have the most recent podcasts available on mini, macbook and iphone
b) prevent simultaneous downloads when both macs are basically sitting next to each other in the same network
I have been trying to use "find finder items" and "copy finder items" but didn't quite get it right. Is there a way to let automator check if the mini's harddrive is available at all before? I would set up ical to run the script twice a day or so. Does this make any sense at all? Haha.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you guys hava a better idea than to use automator for this, I'm all ears.

I got a new computer, downloading iTunes and I need to know how to sync the iPod with itunes so I don't lose songs.

Can you tell me how to sync my iPOD with my new computer. I downloaded iTunes but the library is different.

The iPod, iPhone and iPad all use the same chord, for the older models. So a chord for any of those will work. If no chord works are you able to charge your iPod?

One song is not syncing with ipod touch - help!

it has synced the other songs I downloaded, but this one will not sync even though it is checked to sync, and appears in the playlist in iTunes. I've reset the iPod to no avail... it's an ipod touch 2nd gen. I've also removed and re-synced the entire playlist and it simply will not put this one track on the iPod. HELP!

I am having the same problem as well. One song, purchased from iTunes, will not sync to my iPod touch. It was on it last week, now it is not there. When I plug the iPod into my PC, the song is in my library and it shows it in the iPod playlist when connected to iTunes...but it is no where to be found on the iPod. I have tried to delete it from the playlist, and put it back in the playlist and re-sync, but it still is not there. It plays on my PC in iTunes. Any ideas out there for this one song issue? Cannot sync my iPod. please help

I got a new laptop for christmas and i finally tried to move all my itune's files/music from my old computer to my new laptop. Everything transferred fine but when i try to sync my iPod it says "Cannot sync apps to the iPod because the apps installed on the iPod cannot be determined". It sounds like you had a computer problem and now the iPod thinks it was synced to another iTunes library.
If you go to iTunes>Prefernces>Advanced yu will see whnere the media library is located.
Are you logged into the same account on the computer computr login screen, not in iTunes).
The media library is in the directoy with your login.

well ... i just got my new iPod 2nd gen of 4gb .. and i cant sync .. windows recognize the nano .. but when im gonna start sync the nano goes to the menu screen and an error appears on the sync screen .. cant sync ..

OK, I'm having the same problem. The error message reads (-50) "an unkown error has occoured" apple support has been on no help so far...
Basically every time I try to save new settings in itunes and hit apply this message comes up, and then another "ipod cannot be updated disk cannot be read or written to" itunes freezes up then an "unkonwn error has occoured (-50)" error message a minute later.
Then when I reconnect it it says that no folders to download has been saved. I've tried to "enable disk usage" but that dosen't save.
This problem was temporaily eleviated when I downloaded 1.0.2 but then when I had to reset my ipod because it froze up, it wouldn't function agian. Just when I thought I had the problem solved. The same **** frustrating cycle.
I thought maybe downloading 1.0.2 agian would help but it reads that is already downloaded.
I'm stumped guys, please help.

HT1386 I am trying to sync my iPod Touches calendar to my MacBook Pro calendar. I have been successful at syncing the events from my MacBook Pro's iCal to the iPod but haven't been able to sync the events from my iPod to my MacBook Pro. Is this possible?

I have an iPod touch that I often use to manage different events for work. I have been able to sync the events on my calendar from my MacBook Pro to the iPod touch successfully using wifi. What I really need to do though is sync my iPod calendar events to my MacBook Pro calendar. Is this possible? How do I set this up? It would be a huge help if I could transfer the events on my iPod calendar to my computers calendar. I currently have the wifi sync option on and have turned on the sync calendars option in iTunes. For resetting the sync history on a Mac running Lion - 10.7.x if needed.
