Need a developer to work with me - FMS/Flex/RTMFP/RTMP etc.

Hi,
I already own a video chat website that uses strictly Stratus (RTMFP), as you may already know, the connections between the peers are not always stable, as in people don't always connect to each others.
From my past programmer's opinion, it was because of Stratus, he is sure his coding is good.
With the release of FMS 4, which includes RTMFP, my plan is to modify my website so it works with FMS 4 Enterprise Edition, which I will be purchasing.
I want to combine both RTMP and RTMFP in the connections between the peers.
There are also a lot of improvements to come for my website, which is all about Flex/FMS/php/MySQL.
If you want to be the first to take part in a project that's going to be very big because of :
1. The opportunities that FMS 4 offers us;
2. The motivation I have, and that you should have!
3. The resources I have to keep growing effectively.

If this is correct the RTMFP peer introduction services is available only to the Enterprise version, FMIS support RTMFP and IP unicast only, means communication is only betweend Client and FMIS possible but no peer2peer. I'm not a FMS Guru, but I think you can't replace with FMIS the Stratus service for a application as Webcam chat and if you use FMIS for it without Stratus you need to provide the needed bandwith.
If I have missunderstand I would be happy, this will save for me many bucks :-)

This is not my problem. However, I think it may be related to an old speaker. I was using the 30 pin adapter for about a week after the upgrade to 7.1.2. But I think with the update the speaker won't work anymore. I will try with a new speaker system. Thank you for trying to assist.

tom i have been using ubuntu for c++ project
i use lambda and atomic (c++0x) but now as I am working on MAC not able to use them
installed xcode(4.3) and changed compiler settings to LLVM3.1 but still both features are not available
to compile wanted to have g++ which supports c++0x features ...
new to MAC (2-3 days) so was in rush to solution

So, could you please give me an example of ActionScript code to call a RemoteObject in BlazeDs? The url? and call string? I also use Spring behind. I need a keyring (that works with network-manager)

I'm new to Arch linux (coming from Ubuntu) and I'm wondering how to set up a keyring that works with that gnome-network-manager applet and ssh(fs). I previously used GNOME and the gnome keyring, and all out of the box.
I couldn't find any manuals on how to set up the gnome-keyring in Arch linux, neither regarding ssh(fs) nor network-manager. I read people are complaining about network-manager asking for the keyring-unlocking-password, but this doesn't happen for me.
How do I set up the gnome-keyring propertly?

Need digital camera that works with Quicksilver

I need a relatively cheap digital camera that will work with a G4 Quicksilver. I know I'll probably have to get a used one, but that's OK. I just have no idea which older brands or models will work with a Power Mac. Anybody have any suggestions?

Cameras often allow a direct USB cable connection to a computer. This could possibly lead to compatibility problems, depending upon the requirements for each camera.
For cameras with a flash memory card slot (many modern models have one), an alternative solution would be to use an appropriate USB memory card reader connected to the computer. One could then move the memory card (for example, SD or CompactFlash) to the USB reader. The transfer is usually relatively fast, and no power is drawn from the camera batteries. The G4 should not have difficulties reading files from memory cards.

Just to be clear: You want to give wireless access to 200 clients over two APs *?at the same time?*
That would be a Very Bad Thing, and almost certainly not possible.
Generally speaking, with "normal" traffic (no such animal exists), you can expect to run 20 - 30 clients tops per AP.
It is not likely that you can impose your restrictions at the AP level. More likely, you'd want to do it at the switch, possibly at the router.
The problem is that the AP acts as a hub: shared bandwidth, and collision avoidence. Basically it boils down to every client getting a timeslot to communicate. When you have too many clients on a single AP, the clients are not talked to often enough, and you get association drops. Before association drops, you get really poor performance that progresses to request timeouts.
The other issue is the uncontrolled mix of clients that you're likely to see. If one client is using 802.11b (11 meg), the net effect is an additional drop in available bandwidth.
The bottom line is that it's not a plan that's likely to succeed.
You may want to investigate 802.11a (5GHz). It has more non-overlapping channels (802.11g has three). To get that many poeple in a confined space and maintain acceptable connections and performance, the extra bandwidth will help a lot.

I need a router that works with Apple eMac OS 10.3 and is WEP encryption capable.

The WRT54G router has been recommended by TV provider Sky Angle. (I will receive Sky Angle over my DSL modem and must send signal to my TV via wireless router.)
But, I use an Apple eMac running OS 10.3. 1GHz that the router must be compatible with. And, before I buy, I want to get the fastest, newest, compatible version of a wireless router in hopes it will work with any new Apple lap top that I hope to get. Please help! I can't find any way to ask this question to the LINKSYS web site or company. Additionally, what is "G" mode or "N" mode: that might be important in the ultimate model of router to buy.

Need Authorware News Update - Future with Adobe ? Next Version ? Etc

I've been away from Authorware for many months.
I'm sure these questions have been asked before but hopefully
someone will
be kind enough to give me a quick run down and update.
- Any word on Authorware's future since Adobe acquired it?
- What about the next version ? (if any)
- Should we ditch Authorware and try to go with something
else that is more
likely to be here down the road?

management requests to see if any new tools can do what AW

better/faster/less overhead and so far nothing. AW is the

I need to have COMMit WORK with in a FM, which is calling in UPDATE task

I am sending out the custom IDOC from SAP to partner application by writing a custom my_OB_IDOC_FM, well.
With in this my_OB_IDOC_FM, for some functionality, i am using a standard SAP FM and I need to use a COMMIT WORK immediately after this standard SAP FM call.
But, all my IDOC is calling in update task, so once am triggering IDOC (inturn my_OB_IDOC_FM is calling in UPDATE task) am getting dump because of that inside used COMIT WORK statement!
So, pls. let me know how can replace this COMMIT WORK or hoe can i fix my issue? can i do like CALL FUNCTION standard_SAP_FM in background task/seperate task? so that i can use COMMIT WORK?

You could make a new z-program and run in a background job... like this:

Need additional field populated along with this FMS on Market Docs

During creation of a marketing doc such as Sales order, the user searches for the item which has this query loaded into item field.

Search of item field displays other info such as quanitty in warehouse and warehouse along with item code. In above case the warehouse is 02 for maanger profile.
However, on selecting any of the above items, the warehouse displayed on sales order is 01 (not 02 which is what it should have been). Why did not the relevant warehouse 02 get loaded?
How can I over come this without using just the above FMS query. Do I have to use another FMS query for warehouse field also?

FMS query will only return the first column from the query result. Whatever displayed will be irrelevant. If you need Warehouse 02, FMS has to be set on warehouse column with the whscode as first column.
