Need a Draft/Email Template with attachments to reuse

HI.
Hope someone can help me. I have my own business and when people make enquiries through the web I send a reply with a few attachments.
I thought I could do this by saving a draft message to reuse again and again but if I do so:
1. It wont save the attachments to drafts
2. When I use the draft once it will not stay in drafts
Does anyone know how I can make a message once with attachments that I can use again and again?

Then I exported this template to the FIM Portal server, in the "Email Template" administration section on the Portal.
Where must I put the image to allow FIM to link it? Which attribute have I to modify with the correct path (src?)? And how?
Can you provide me some examples of the correct form of the path attribute?

The problem with using "cid" for embedded images is that the email message needs to be formatted differently. You don't have control over the header, mime type and other aspects that need to be defined to include and reference a "cid image" in the message
body.
First, the message header will need to have the following fields:
From: [email protected]
To: [email protected]
Subject: Test example
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="boundary-name"; type="text/html"
The "boundary" is what separates the content of the message to form the "multipart/related" pieces.
The message body then has boundary markers and additional content headers to define the individual pieces:

The HTML references the embedded content-id via the special "cid" URI. This is the same method used for email attachments. Using the "cid" allows an attachment to be rendered as content in the body of the email.
Since this would already require you to know the underlying mime type of the image, you already need to have the image data converted to Base64 encoding, and you don't have any control over the headers of an email template in FIM... you would need to write
your own email activity and not use the out-of-the-box FIM activities. The other method of getting an email to embed an image is to use the special "data:mime-type" URI in the src attribute of an img tag:

Error in opening draft email saved with msg extension

I am attempting to create a email and save it on local hard disc. The email is a file having msg extension. So that it can be opened with MS Outlook. Also I want it to be in DRAFT mode. Like we can create draft email with MS Outlook. This message will have multiple attachmets.
Thus when user opens this file, it will get opened with MS Outlook and user will be able to edit the message text, TO/CC list, attachments.
I am using MimeMessage.writeTo(Outstream) API to save the message to a file, say C:\test.msg
But if I double click test.msg in explorer to open it, it gives error:
Can't open file C:\test.msg. The file may not exist, you may not have permissions to open it, or it may be open in another program.
Is it possible to create draft Outlook email message with msg extension?
If yes, how?

Outlook Msg files aren't as easy to write as you would believe. They are a propretary format that microsoft uses based on the DocFile format that Word and Excel uses.
If you did the MimeMessage.writeTo(out) and saved it to a .eml file Outlook Express will open it, but Outlook doesn't directly read this file type.
I've started on a library to allow the creation of Outlook msg files, right now it only allows you to set text, dates, long, and boolean values on the email message (which means you can set stuff like the recieved date/time, subject, body, to, from, etc), but it does not yet support attachments or extra recipents (CC, BCC, etc). I'll be updating the copy on my site as soon as I get the other stuff working (which isn't as easy as it sounds).

Hello,
with Iphoto you can make nice email layouts with a mix of pictures. I'd to save this creation as a picture in order to print it in a high resolution.
However, it is not possible to save this picture layout (in the iphoto template) in a high resolution. Do you know an other program where I can use such a templates to easy make like a nice card with pictures on it and save it a high resolution.
I'd like to make a collage of some 7 to 9 pics and use it as a card for first communion.

Why not create a Book or a card containing a collage of images in iPhoto? You can save it as a high-resolution image by printing the relevant page to pdf and setting the pdf-button to "Save pdf to folder as jpeg/tiff"

Email sent with attachments not showing in sent folder

I have recently found that emails I send with an attachment do not show up in my sent folder. They are arriving at recipient but I do not then have a record of the email sent. This is really very annoying and I can see a few other poplin online forums are having the same problem. However nobody seems to have come up with a solution. It appears I have to cc myself in to the mail and then move it to my sent folder when it arrives. I can't keep doing this. Other emails without attachments are showing in the sent box. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this please.

Didn't work for me... (rebuilding the mailbox)
I cleaned the Sent mailbox and rebuilt the culprit mailbox and the general "Sent" mailbox.... sent a message.. it 'hung' in the Outgoing Message box for @ 20 seconds and it sounded as if it were sent and when checking the Sent mailbox for that account, it did not show.... I tested this again with another message addressed to myself and it sent as expected and showed in the Sent mailbox for the account... Did another test to a different recipient and the message sent as expected and showed in the Sent mailbox... The only corrollary that exists at this stage, is the recipient of the "disappearing" messages is that I email this particular recipient very regularly and at times with long threads... However, these last messages were completely different subjects and previous replies to this persons email sent as expected.... so this is a random occurrence.

Emailing Activities with attachments from SAP

Our customer is on 88 PL 18 using MS Outlook 2010. They are using Outlook integration.
They send out Activities from SAP throughout the day. A few of the sales members notice when they have several attachments included in the Activities and sent it as an email from SAP they get an error of B02069, Failed to send E-mail via Microsoft Outlook. The latest example was 4 attachments in a Activity. It is not a size limit issue as the 4 attachments only totaled 2 mg yet the error noted above popped up.
Is there a limit on the number of attachments in Activities. Could this be an issue with the B1_shr folder?

The size of 2mb might be matter here. Have you checked if you have any bigger size email message sent out without problem in regardless of number of attachments.

Occasionally I will send an email to four different addressees. The email contains an attachment in pages format, word format and pdf formal. Though it is sent and though it is received by at least one of those to whom it is addressed, it does not appear as sent, in the Sent Mailbox. Why is this and what can be done to get all sent emails to appear as Sent?

You may use Outlook Integration (if using MS Outlook for email) to save emails to SAP. In using this add-on, the email is saved - including attachments - in SBO as a Activity and immediately closed so it cannot be edited. (This can be good for audit purposes.) Note: I believe the text field is limited to 64K characters so if the email thread is longer, you will want to use the next option.
Otherwise, you may manually create an Activity and copy/paste the email to the Content tab and save the email attachments on the Attachments tab.
If the email body is longer than 64K, another option may be to create a Service Call record and break up the email into multiple Activity records that are created from the Service Call so they are all together thru the S/C record.

Problems with attachments - where is my content?

I've got a problem with my attachment in the shopping cart. We have implement a function, where the user is able to sent an email with an attachment from the shopping cart.
If the user, who added the attachment to the shopping cart will send the email, the field PHIO_CONTENT in the table ATTACH in the shopping cart structure BBPS_SC_APP_DOCUMENT is filled an i can attach these data to the email.
But when the shopping cart will be transfered to another user during the approval worklflow, the field PHIO_CONTENT is emtpy. All other data is already existing (like PHIO_OBJID). I've got the URL to the document too (field DISP_URL = http://sapdb01.XXX.XXXXXXX.de:8000/sap/ebp/docserver/Zellen%25252Exls?phioget&KpId=DDAB1A80829CEFF1B402001A4B4A73D6&KpClass=BBP_P_DOC&sap-client=010).
Does anybody knows why the data (field PHIO_CONTENT) will not by stored in the shopping cart? Is it neccessay to load the file from doc-server? If so, how can I read the files from the document server?

I have a similar assignment where I need to send e-mail with attachments from the SC. The attachemnts can be in varius formats, i.e. DOC, XLS, TXT etc. I wonder how do you handle the attachments? I read the attachments using BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL and send e-mail using class cl_document_bcs. The content of the attachemnts are in binary format and receipient can't open them.

Yes that is right what is mentioned above, first you give the company code and name then give the currency then select address (Shift+F5) and in that if you select country as IN then it will automatically come to master data.
