Need a Function Module to call a standard Elementary Search help - DEBIK

Hi Gurus,
I need to call the standard elementary search help DEBIK in one of my screen fields. Also I need to filter the values for the Account group KTOKD to Z104 ( transshipment location customers).
Actually i do not want to copy the standard search help DEBIK to custom search help ZDEBIK and give a default value of Z104 to field KTOKD.
Also i do not want to use FM - F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST .
I want a FM which will call the search help directly . I tried using FM - FC_RVERS_SEARCHHELP but did not succeed. Can anybody help me in this.

this topic is still a problem for me, does anybody have an idea.
Just to show what's my problem:
Collective Search help KRED does include a SAP append-search help ASH_KRED which holds the elementary search helps KREDC, KREDE, KREDM, KREDW.
The search helps KREDE, KREDM, KREDW should not be displayed, so I added another Serach-Help-Append ZKRED_CUST at the end of CSH KRED which holds these 3 SH's with the hidden flag.
That works, the SH's are not shown anymore.
I also added some other of the Original SAP SH's (e.g. KREDA) with the hidden flag and added changed copies of these (e.g ZKREDA) there to be shown instead.
All this can be done modification free by appends.
The folders of the elementary search helps are shown in the order as they are found included in the KRED SH and the append to this SH.
This means that the not hidden Sh KREDC from ASH_KRED is shown before all the "custimized" ZKREDx -SH's. But we need this SH not very often, so that I want it to displayed al the right-most position of the folders of SH's or at the most down postition of the drop-down-selection of SH's.
But I have not found any way to do this modification free.
The only way to archive this is to modify ASH_KRED by setting the Hidden-Flag for KREDC and add this SH at the end of append-SH ZKRED_CUST again.
But I want avoid this modification.
So, is there any way to do this without modifing any of the original SAP SH's ?

Standard Elementary Search help number of hits

Dear All,
I am having simple problem with the Standard Search Help "RSFISCPER".
When i display with out restrictions it shows only around 219 hits , even with restrictions it shows the same number .
How can i see all entries in the search help.
If i give selection like FisVarient K4 and period from 001/2007 to 012/2007 then it shows correctly. but if i give only K4 then all entries will not show related to K4.

Adding elementry search help to SAP standard Collective Search help

Hi,
I had copied standard elementary search help to MAT0M to ZZ_MAT0M and added some more fields and activated to it.
it got activated sucessfully.
Now i have to attached the ZZ_MAT0M elementry search help to standard collective search help MAT1_A.
How can i do that?
can i add it directly to MAT1_A (sell --->search help <MAT1_A> changes --> in included search helpss tab using + (insert icon) )

I solved my problem :
I had copied standard elementary search help to MAT0M to ZZ_MAT0M and added some more fields and copied Database View M_MAT1M to ZZ_M_MAT1M and addedd same fields and activated both.
both got activated sucessfully.
Now i have to attached the ZZ_MAT0M elementry search help to standard collective search help MAT1_A and this Z-search help shd appear on the first tab.
so I just went to collective search help MAT1_A in change mode --> click on "+" icon addedd my ZZ__ search help, save and activated it.
If you dont really care in which tab your search help shd appear, then the best option is to use Append Search help.
Note : if you are directly adding your search help in collective standard search help, then its better to remove hotkey form your custom elementry search help, as, if not remove will lead to warnings or make sure that you have unique hotkey in that collective search help.

Need a function module to create a Vendor

Hi Experts,
I am wondering if there is a RFC enabled function module to create vendor in background?
My current situation is that I need to create a function module or Identify one standard SAP function module. I have gone through some of the threads on BAPI_VENDOR_CREATE and VENDOR_INSERT or VENDOR_UPDATE, as well as the batch program ( RFBIKR00 ).
BAPI_VENDOR_CREATE - RFC enabled but it is an online creation that requires user interaction
VENDOR_INSERT & VENDOR_UPDATE - Not RFC enabled FM
RFBIKR00 - is a batch program and could not be called using RFC
I need to be able to trigger a function module from the HR system. Has anyone done something similar?
Please help. Points will be awarded.

Hi,
If there is no option then you can copy the FM VENDOR_INSERT & VENDOR_UPDATE into Z FM's and make the RFC enable.

I need a function module to create a production order with reference to an existing order. There is no BAPI available for SAP 4.7 release. I found that the function module CO_ZF_PRODUCTIONORDER_CREATE does not create with reference to an existing order.

can very much
check your partner profiles PROPERLY. If u have the same IDoc type in 2 different partner profiles, check the 2nd one for it's process code. Isn't it the one, which is called after your Idoc is received? Processing code in partner profile is not based only on Idoc Type, but also on Message Type, Message Code and Extension. If the 2nd profile contains the process code, which is called, then check your incoming idoc for header values. May be this is causing your problem.

CALL FUNCTION IN BACKGROUND TASK allows no IMPORTING parameters, so that your code will produce a syntax error.
The calling program can only handle errors of remote function calls (RFC) if these are either
- synchronous RFC (that is CALL FUNCTION ... DESTINATION ...) or
- asynchronous RFC (that is CALL FUNCTION STARTING NEW TASK ... DESTINATION ...).
Both synchronous and asynchronous RFC allow the capturing of errors by means of exceptions. But that is a different topic.

Please run the report 'ZRECTIFY_FM_DOCUMENTS' in your system.
Before running the report, create the following selection texts for the parameters/select-options as given below:
P_BUKRS: Company code
S_GJAHR: Fiscal year
S_BELNR: FI document no.
P_TEST: Test run

I need a function module for processing idoc

i need a function module that can be used for processing of idocs. The name of the fm should be Z_AS4_IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT you should create functiongroup ZAS4 as copy of group ZS40. The functionmodule should be build on the basis of Z_S_IDOC_INPUT_ZSDELV.
Messagetype: ZASHPMNT
Idoctype: SHPMNT05
Partner: ASSIST
The purpose is to check the delivery number in Segment E1EDL20, to find the invoice in the documentflow and to select an message record of this invoice in tha table nast.

Need to function module to clear Subscreen contents

can anyone say Function module which clears the contents of Subscreen when navigated from subscreen to subscreen.
MY Problem:
i have 6 subscreen.(A,B,C,D,E,F) each subscreen has 100 checkboxes.
i checked some checkboxes of subscreen A. And navigated to subscreen B. And again navigated back to subscreen A.
I found all the checkboxes what i checked before are checked. I want them to be unchecked(screen not refreshed), when i come back to that subscreen.
Any Function module avaliable to refresh screen contents.
Help me.

Don't think so. I am affraid you will have to clear all checkboxes one by one. Anyhow you can use field symbols to address them dynamically and clear their content.

How to DEBUG a function module running in background mode? Please help!

Hi Experts,
 I am calling a function module in my ABAP code in background module using the following syntax:
CALL FUNCTION 'YBBC2_CREATE_SNAPSHOT' IN BACKGROUND TASK
 TABLES
 itab_std_format_inv = itab_std_format_inv
 itab_snapshot_inv = itab_snapshot_inv.
 COMMIT WORK.
If I put the breakpoint in the CALL FUNCTION line and execute the program, the debugger does not take me to the valled function module. This may be because I am running the function module as background task.
I cannot comment this "IN BACKGROUND TASK" statement as well since i am debugging in Quality system where I don't have change access.
So how to DEBUG a function module running in background mode? Please help!

Hi,
You could try to use the following trick:
(1) Put an endless loop into the coding of your function module where you want to start debugging, e.g.
DATA:
 lx_exit_loop(1) TYPE c.
lx_exit_loop = ' '.
DO.
 IF ( lx_exit_loop = 'X' ).
 EXIT.
 ENDIF.
ENDDO.
(2) Call your function module in background task
(3) Call transaction SM50 and search for the background process.
(3) Choose from menu Program/Mode -> Program -> Debugging
Now you the debugger should bring you right to your endless loop. Set lx_loop_exit = 'X' in the debugger and continue (F5 or F6).

In a standard WD Abap there is a field in the context that have a dictionary search help, which is standard too, but we want to replace it with another non-standard dictionary search help. Our requierement is to do it using abap code by an enhacenment.
