Need a help about Adobe Air Error (Offset:003d030)

hi, I'm B.J.Yu. and a Flex developer.
we use flex sdk3.2(flexbuilder3) and client runs on the Adobe AIR.
recently, our customer got error i've never seen.
our customer sent this image to me, so unfortunately i couldn't show a detail information by link.
please let me know if you know the Offset: 0003d030 about the error screen or any reason or solution.

Adobe Air Error - Initial Content Could Not Be Found

Hi,
I'm using BBC iplayer desktop and trying to download programmes. I keep getting an Adobe Air Error saying 'initial content could not be found for this application'. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Air but keep getting this message. Any ideas?

I have After Effects CS4 and my operating system Snow Leopard.
When I mean it doesn't work, I mean it won't load up when after it pulls up that error message. I'll click on the After Effects icon, it'll load as usual, then it'll pull up that error message.
After Effects warning: a compressor used in an output module template could not be found. The animation compressor will be used instead. ( 44 :: 18 )
I click okay, it closes, and then I have an error saying that Adobe After Effects has crashed.

Thank you for taking the time to help with this problem. Can I just say however that as someone who has posted a first comment here and quite clearly never used a forum like this before, your comment unfortunately comes across as very excluding. It makes me feel there are a set of unwritten rules that I should know, and that I don't know them shows that the forum is not for me. In short, it's exactly the kind of response that stops people like me using forums like this.
I'm sure it's not intended to be received like this and I am sure that the way you have responded is quite normal in the rules of a forum like this. However, it is not normal for those of us who aren't familiar with forums and who only encounter them when they have a genuine problem. This is why I hope it is helpful to respond in full.
The reason I posted here is as follows. I was directed here by the apple support website. The original comment seemed to be the only one I could find which referred to my issue. As there is no obvious guidance on how to post on a forum like this it seemed perfectly reasonable to try and join in a conversation which might solve more than one problem at once.

I m a new guy in java programming and learn from many books.I m making a website and portal right now and dying need your help about DES.my portal (using java) requires somebody to make a login name and a password.I m done with the server and client things and rite now stuck with this "DES" stuff.
so I make some conditions and algorithm below..
1. when a user login,the password is encrypted.at this point,cleartext(id) and encryption (M,N) are involve.
2. then the key is changed based on algorithm.
3.the key changed by key(id) is received and the original text should be encrypted.
the algorithm

2. encypt the password
a. Each character is changed into an int type by the ASCII code, and let the 1st bit be an odd number parity bit.
b.The 1st bit of the 1st character in (IP) is set to '1', and the 8th bit of the 8th character as '64'.

just ask about a simple program how to receive a
password from somebody and change it to a key..and
then confirm it with DES.Once again I have a problem understanding what you are asking.
Are you trying to use the password as a key to encrypt some 'standard thing' and place this encrypted value in a database? If so then look in the JCE for 'password based encryption' such as PBEWithMD5AndDes. This seems back to front to me but I can see nothing wrong with the approach since the 'standard thing' you would encrypt is in effect a key. If this is for a commercial application then I would find a security expert to evaluate your proposal!
In my experience it is more normal to encrypt the user's password with DES and store the result in the database. To do this just look in the JCE for DES encryption and consider using DES with CBC and PKCS5 padding. Also, consider encrypting the concatenation of the user's 'user name' with the password as this will (almost certainly) avoid having two encrypted values in the database that are the same even if two users have the same password.
For both of these you might consider using Base64 or Hex to turn you encrpted bytes into ASCII characters before trying to store them in your DB.

Photoshop CS5 "Help" function not working - Adobe Air error message?

Installed Photoshop CS5, and thought everything was working okay, but when I click on Photoshop Help, I get the error message "Adobe Air - This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing......" I have re-installed first Adobe Air, same problem and then uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop CS5, but the problem remains. When I first tried to use the Help function it tried to update something and for some reason this failed. I'm wondering if others have seen the same problem and know of a solution? Thanks, David.

Hello: there may be a configuration issue going on here. I have escalated this issue to our Help app engineering team. In the meanwhile, please try the following:
Uninstall the Adobe Help application: go to your Application folder > Adobe > Adobe Help (drag it to the Trash)
Delete the following directory:
USER NAME (home) > Library > Preferences > chc.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE.
Empty the Trash
Manually update the application via this link: http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/
Select "Photoshop" in Step 1 and then click the Install badge in Step 2. Make sure to select "Open" (and not Save) in the installation dialog box to fully update the app.
Note: The previous instructions did not include deleting the old application or its preference file. This will help ensure that it is thoroughly updated.

Need help with adobe air!

Error message " ask for adobe air.: "a download error occurred. try to download again?"
this is when I'm trying to download someting. Right now I"m using the update feature and or vudu (cloud service) Adobe air will not let me download to my computer!

I tried to reinstall it and the same..

Does it happen with all downloads? Does the same error happen attempting to access the same download from a different computer? What version of AIR?

when i try to play my MMORPG it says to install the latest version of Adobe AIR "click here".... so i click it and try to install... when it is in the middle of instalation an error thing shows stating it cannot finish because the admin wont allow it >_< i don't understand i AM the admin.. and the only one.. and i have no clue what to due........

Could you try installing the stand alone version of AIR 2.5.1? If it fails again, which I suspect it might, please post the contents of your AIR installer log and a few basic details of your system (cpu, os version.) Hopefully we'll get this straightened out quickly.

1. Add a simle system.out.println("Init called!"); message in public void init() method of the servlet RefreshInfo.
2. Try to access servlet by simple browser request "http://localhost:8080/yourApp/RefreshInfo".
2. If the message "Init called!" appears in the Tomcat console, your servlet code is correct and the serlet is described properly in web.xml . In this case, the possible problem is in the JavaScript code.

Questions about Adobe AIR and FLV license model

I'm currently looking for a game development framework which I can use for a fan-project in my spare time and also for commercial projects for the company I'm working for.
I think that the Citrus Engine which is open source and based on Apache Flex/Adobe AIR/Starling/Away3D/Box2d/Nate might be a good choice.
But I'm really confused about the license model of Adobe AIR and its runtime distribution.
Do I have to pay a license fee or royalties for my games (which include the AIR runtime in order to be stand-alone-apps) when I publish them?
If so, how much are these license fees/royalties?
Does this also concern free apps?
What is the name of the license which I would have to request from Adobe in order to publish my games?
Do I need several licenses when publishing an app on multiple AppStores (Apple/Google/Amzaon) or desktop distribution platforms (Steam/GOG)?
Are there further licensing obstacles which I have to keep in mind when using Flex/AIR for (commercial) game development?
By the way - the FAQ on the product page (http://www.adobe.com/products/air/faq.html) isn't really helping on this topic:
"How much does Adobe AIR cost?" -> "The Adobe AIR runtime and AIR SDK are free for most users."
This answer leaves me with the question: Am I belonging to the "most users" or not?
Therefore it isn't meaningful at all.
I'm also thinking about adding short video sequences as FLVs to the games.
If I understood correctly H.264 and MP3 are currently used as a standard for these video files but aren't free.
Is there a free alternative available for FLVs which can be used in combination with Adobe AIR?
Or did I get something wrong here and don't need to worry about getting sued when using these formats?

Adobe-Air Error Message?

Hello Folks,
I have installed CS6 and selected Adobe Support Center from the help menu. I keep getting the following error message.
"The installation of this application is damaged. Try to re-install the application or contact the publisher"
I tried re-installing CS6 but am still getting the same error message, with a bouncing Adobe Air icon in my dock.
Any suggestions to remedy this issue would be appreciated.

the answer here instead of duplicating posts. If you are a developer and
have a virtual server on your computer you most likely will run into the AIR
error 2032 when trying to download the MAX companion for the conference
starting tommorow-Wednesday (Monday-Wednesday). You need to either add in a
chunk of code to your server that allows AIR to run or use a different
computer. I used a different computer but I read that someone found the
solution to this error is to add the code to their virtual server. I use
XAMPP, which is a rather popular Virtual Server. Okay well I hope this helps

Need some help: About DVD/BD authoring in Encore 5.1

I am new to Adobe Encore 5.1 (newly switched to)
I was wondering if anyone could help me with problems that i am currently dealing with.
I made some dvd everything works great in my laptop and dvd player, but when i sent those dvds to my favorite in America, she is telling that dvds aren't playing on her player there.
before creating my projects i did a little bit of research for creating dvds NTSC specifically that could be playble in US, but i guess it wasn't enough.
Anyways, all default footages were recorded in PAL system and I edited and converted them to NTSC system with Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0 application.
For dvd menus, I used Sony DVD Architect Studio 5.0 again NTSC default setting, from what i understood was that, DVD Architect studio creates free region and i didnt find any option for selecting region 1, 2 or 3, like Encore 5.1.
it seems to be a bit complicated or something, i need to make the things right. and i need your help.
I have another question, is it possible to make all your editings in Sony vegas and use Encore 5.1 for dvd or blu ray authoring.

Thank you for replying back. Yesterday I contacted her back about those DVDs, she told me that 2 DVDs are working perfectly but other 2 dvds are giving format error on her Blu ray player. I assume, it might be burning problem or encoding, but all dvds are made with same settings. it's really weird to me.
About the content, I am not allow to upload them (upon my friend's request), but i will record some footage with the same setting and I will upload them here.

Could you try manually deleting the following folder: /Library/Frameworks/Adobe AIR.framework ? Once deleted, try installing again.
