Need a light indicator to show a call is in Queue. IPCC Express.
A customer has a requirement that a light be displayed on the supervisors desk when a call has been in queue for more than 15 seconds. This light is an analogue telephone device that can be connected to an fxs/ata and it flash when a call rings it.
I would also like to know if it's possible to light a light on a 7941/7961 if a call is in queue.

Well, IPCC/CCM does not provide this funtionallity. You would need to write an app to accomplish this. Perhaps try posting your question on the developer forum and someone can help you there.

Looking at the problem description i am suspecting that your system is hitting BUG:-CSCsu40814

Symptom:
The supervisor desktop realtime reports will show an entry in "Oldest in Queue" that appears to be a call in the queue but has no time associated with it. The issue will show as 1(00:00:00)
Conditions:
So far the only condition that exists is that calls are coming into the system.
Workaround:
None
Further Problem Description:
The system RealTime Reports does not reflect this call and it is only shown in the Supervisor Desktop display. There is not actually a call in queue as well and it seems to be a reporting error.
The defect can be explained as follows:
++ This happens because of any of the unsupported configurations/actions for UCCX.
++ This will lead the UCCX engine not to clear the entry of the call internally and thus it will send messages to the CSD to display the call.
++ Ideally when you have a legitimate call: "1[00:20:00]", this means that there is 1 call in the queue for 20min. However, 2[00:00:00] means that this call is no longer in the queue, but there is a false entry of the same.
++ Therefore, the restart of the engine will remove these entries
++ This entry will be created in the UCCX engine when an unsupported action is performed such as transfer to a different Route point etc. (not necessarily this).
++ The defect addresses how such a call is handled so that the call entry can be appropriately cleared.
++ It would be difficult to say why the issue started to occur, but we can explain as to why the entries are seen on CSD and how we can clear them.
Please note the following:
++ All unsupported scenarios/configurations mentioned in the guide have to be avoided:

++ All the unsupported configurations can cause this issue to occur. However, the defect-fix has been verified for the following configurations:
1. When an agent on call c1 initiates consult c2 to the RP,cti port, c2 is just in the process of getting queued when agent completes transfer and so c1.iaqstate is set incorrectly to NOT_IN_QUEUE due to a race condition. The defect CSCsu40814 occurs even in regular, supported agent to rp transfer scenarios due to race condition.
2. As soon as the agent went reserved for the primary consult , he answered the primary consult but even before the main call could be fully transferred to the agent, He held the primary consult call and initiated a new call to the RP. This is what caused the main IAQ call to terminate. And he was left only with the new call he initiated. So he again initiates another consult and completes transfer.So the agent wanted to answer the PRIMARY consult and immediately transfer it back to the RP without talking to the caller.In this particular scenario, the call was between 2 CTI ports
Issue can be resolved by restarting the CCX engine(in off hours). This is a temp workaround .
you need to check if agent's are not using any unsupported configuration . -

I have Airport Extreme as the base unit and an Express unit in a room separated by a brick wall to improve signal. Express shows a green light indicating signal but my iPad does not perform well. How can I improve other than hardwire ethernet connection?

For example, you might find that the brick wall is not the only problem. There may be other devices pumping out enough wireless interference to be making things even worse.
I agree with Bob Timmons that Ethernet is best and most reliable. And that powerline (which I use) is easier and potentially faster than wireless...but only if your power lines do not have electrical devices plugged in which produce electrical noise on the line. Powerline will be slower than Gigabit Ethernet.
Ethernet cable is the only way to ensure that the signal goes directly there in a shielded way for a clear fast signal. Wireless and powerline are much slower because of all the other things the signal has to fight past to get to the other device. -

Yep. You need to touch the sleep/power button once to silence the ring, and twice in order for the call to go directly to Voicemail.

I connect the AC adapter to the laptop and the blue light on the DC IN jack lights up, also the Wireless Card light shows up in orange color.

Must be something magnetic in the ionsphere: mine has had the same symptoms. I was going to buy a new battery, but now maybe not. I think on mine the pmu module can be replace seperate from the logicboard? I was thinker perhaps the internal battery??? Really open to answers. -
Have 2 airport extreme base stations connected in chain. Airport utility shows slave unit without power. However, power is on slave unit, but status lights do not show up at all. Small green lights at each back port blink. Anyone have any ideas?
Unfortunately, you are describing the symptoms of an AirPort Extreme with a failing (or failed) internal power supply.
As a last resort, try a Factory Default Reset on the AirPort Extreme as follows:
Power off the AirPort by pulling the power cord
Wait a minute or two
Hold in the reset button first, and keep holding it in for an additional 8-10 seconds while you simultaneously plug the power back into the AirPort
Release the reset button and allow a full minute for the AirPort to restart
Now try to configure the AirPort again. If you continue to see the same symptoms as before, the AirPort will need to be replaced. -
How to make a numeric indicator not show 0 as default value
I use Labview 8.0.
I need several numeric indicators to show some calculated results, but before I get the calculation results, thoes indicator will always show "0" as their default value. So, how can I make these indicator just be blank before I get the result that I want to display?

if i have a coming call from mobile to my extension and i forwarding my unanswered calls to my mobile showing the E1 no on my mobile while i want to showing the caller mobile ID.
is the ""gateway Calling Party Selection* Originator"" configuration on cucm will solve it or noHi,
Setting the Calling Party Selection to Originator will send the Original Calling party number to your provider. If your provider accepts any calling number, it is well and good.
you may also need to enable the other setting 'Redirecting Number Delivery Outbound' and Redirecting Party Transformation CSS to ensure the IP phone's number is sent to provider as a Redirecting number along with the original calling number and final called number.
Please collect 'debug isdn q931' for a test call to verify how these numbers are sent to provider.

Question: As I send an email, the mail activity indicator is showing that more than one email is being sent! Last time it was 5 even though I was only sending one and there were no other emails in the out box! What's going on here I ponder?

What and where is the iMac G5 Sleep light indicator. The latest software update has an item dealing with this and I have no idea where this item is. I checked my manual and there is nothing about it in there. I have a Rev A 1.6 Ghz iMac G5
The slepep light indicator is the light in the lower right hand corner of the iMac behind the bezel, so it's invisible until it's working. It does not show until you sleep the computer, then it pulses slowly to indicate that the machine is sleeping.
