1. Tfs is a dependent software, but have prerequisites for installation. And you may check MSDN pages to see the requirements like:

page. You have to install SCVMM if you want to use it to manage virtual machines

To reinstall Acrobat 8 Upgrade I need to present previous versions e.g. 3 and then 4 and then 5 Upgrade every time. Is there no simpler way to validate my ownership?
I had two laptops stolen and the reinstall is a real pain. This also applies to reformats and changeovers to Windows 7, etcetera.Windows 7? Then don't waste your life minutes fumbling with an Acrobat 8 - Windows 7 combination.
If you are to be using Win 7 you'll need the current release of Acrobat (XI). "X" will function but it is no longer marketed by Adobe.

I need to present my talk in two official languages.
I need to present my talk in two official languages. I have two slideshows, one in French and another, with identical content, in English.
Is there any way to have one slideshow appear on one projection screen, and another on the other projection screen, with both slideshows controlled by the same laptop?Keynote is unable to play back two separate presentations.
The only work around I have used is two computers feeding two projectors with a WiFI remote control which triggers both Macs at the same time. -
Love the Adobe products first. OK , I have my instructional coaches creating power point presentation add audio to each slide with the presenter 10 add ins. I need these presentation converted into MP4 like you can do with adobe presenter video creator.
If you import the PPT deck into Captivate it will not bring the audio from Presenter. But you can import it into Captivate after the slide deck has been imported. The audio files aren't necessarily named in a logical fashion in the source files for the presentation, so I would recommend that you publish the presentation locally and then find the 'data' folder in the published output and the audio files will be named in a way that you can infer the slide they are associated with. Not the simplest proceedure but it should be pretty painless.

Needing to present "photos" and "video" to large audience
I need an App to allow me to use a laptop and a remote mouse, and to make a formal presentation to a large audience. I need it to show both "photos" and a "video" in my presentation, allowing me to page through the photos one-at-a-time while I talk about them. How can I use Adobe "Photoshop Element" and "Premiere Element" to do this?

Cable needed to present Keynote from Macbook? In College.
I have a new Macbook and want to take my macbook so i can present a keynote presentation i created. this will take place at my college, which all classes has a projector (but its mounted on the ceiling) and the projector is connected to a computer, with Windows.
What cable do I need to connect my macbook to a computer with windows and display it on the projector?
im not sure if there is a projection connection near the front of the class but if there is, is there a simpler cable to use?
How much do these cost?The above post is correct, but a little more specific to your question - I don't believe you can connect from your mac to a windows machine to display.
The connections mentioned are what you need. You just have to disconnect from the windows machine and use the adapter to connect to your laptop. I have to do this alot. It's a little pain in the rear but is what you have to do. -
HELP Needed with Presenter Reporting!
I have created an online assessment and placed it in the
middle of a presenter presentation.
The "assessment" is made up of 5 non graded short answer
questions which gather basic info like Name, Phone Number, Date etc
- there are no wrong answers - simply identifers for who is taking
the assessment (and watching the presentation).
Immediately following these five short answer questions are
12 True/False questions which do have right and wrong answers.
To test - I published the presentation and took the
assessment as 10 different people (ie viewed the presentation 10
times and answered all the questions 10 times) so I could see how
the info was recorded and displayed by Adobe Connect Enterprise.
When I pull the reports they are all "gobbledegook" - Long
strands of disconnected numbers (in a txt file) with some
identifiable answers mixed in. Impossible to interpret!
What I am looking to accomplish is this...
Have a singular individual watch the presentation - take the
assessment and then access their assessment answers (both short
answer and T/F) in a way that has the data entered reported
together for that person.
What I am getting is disconnected answers to each question
not easily connected as a singular assessment test...
I know there must be a way to get answers to questions
associated with one test taker but how??

The issue you are facing has nothing to do with Presenter
Reporting. The problem here is with the display of the report which
is being done by the LMS, in this case Adobe Connect. If you check
the reports for a particular individual in the 'Reports' section,
you will see that all the reports are generated correctly which
means that Presenter is 'reporting' correctly but Connect is not
'showing' the reports as you want it to.
Now coming to your actual problem. Do you just want to be
able to 'view' reports or do you want to download them as well? If
you just want to view reports then Connect does a good job at that.
But the amount of information you can view in the reports depends
upon your 'Role' in Connect.
For instance, if you are an 'Administrator' or 'Training
Manager', then you can view all results of all students (in Connect
7, there is a separate Reporting Wizard that shows reports for each
student who has taken that course, the reports include questions,
their answers, score etc; this exactly meets your requirement).
If you are only a 'Learner' then you can only view your own
report and this report includes the Question and the score and
nothing else (answers are not shown).
If you want to download results, then only Admin/Training
Manager can download results. Someone who has only 'Learner' rights
cannot. You can download results at various levels- By Slides, By
Users, By Questions, By Answers but these reports do not meet your
requirement and they have lot of additional data like sco-id,
principal-id that you may not require. The downloaded result is
available in .csv format. If you view it in Microsoft Excel then
the representation of data will be better. You can also download
reports from the Reporting Wizard. But none of these reports match
your requirement, that is displaying answers to questions for a
particular user. What you can get is score and status corresponding
to each test-taker (from Reporting Wizard on C7 and Reports->By
Users on C6 & C7).
You should put your query on 'Connect Training Module' on
ConnectUsers.com as it is an issue with that module. Someone there
might be able to suggest some solution or workaround. Here is the

Cannot save presentation urent help needed please
Hello everyone, I hope that someone will come to my rescue tonight.
I opened a ppt in keynote made some changes of background texte formating when I tried to save I got a little sound that said not now.
I noticed that in the left area of the navigator 3 or 4 slides have a little blue triangle in the lower right corner of the slide. I did not put that there and it does not show on the slide itself. Is that the culprit and what is causing it.
I need this presentation tomorrow morning for my class.

MireilleI am using a paid version. I rebuilt the whole thing from scratch and I was able to save it but I still don't know what I did to create the problem, which means it could recur and I could not solve it.
I guess it must have been one of these bugs in the program.

Does the account manager need to be present to activate new phone?
I am away at school and my parents are the account managers in another state. When my new iPhone 6 arrives, do I need them present at the Verizon store to activate my phone?

It's always better to be safe than sorry! Your parents can authorize you on the account very quickly by logging in here http://bit.ly/xB4iTc and adding you as an Account Manager in the View Profile section. After you get your phone and it's activated they are able to remove you if they wish right online too.

My house has always had macs and my parents don't like pcs. I don't either. They are slow and so far behind from macs. So i am going into high schoo next year and parents don't let me on the computer without asking and have them all password protected. I did have my own ibook g4 but it broke randomly. My mom says i will isolate myself from too much scree time and get depressed but i love macs and i would like to work in an apple store someday but i'm not even allowed to buy my own ipod touch with my own money. But my mom has an new imac, ipad and iphone and ipod and all of this has been gifts to her. But i really need a computer for school. I have written lists of good reasons not like i want it but good ones and asked nicely but my mom just says because and thats the only reason i need to know. and by the way she is a teacher so she thinks technogly is evil. How can i get the mac air??
I really do not want to enter a family discussion about what you should or should not have. If the MBA is to support your school work then you need to present your arguments on that point. If there is a concern about using a Mac when the school supports PCs then point out a Mac can also use Windows on a BootCamp partition so it is fully compatible with both systems.

Robohelp 9 and TFS 2012 issue - TFS linking is not working

I'm using Adobe Robohelp 9 with Team Foundation Server 2012 on Windows 7 - 64 bit. I've also installed Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2012 MSSCCI Provider. I've also mapped the project folders on my machine.
But when I try to open any project, it is giving the following error message:
And if I click on Yes, it shows:
If I say No for this second message, it opens the project without TFS connection. I can't check-out any file. I can just modify it and it will be saved locally.
When I'm outside of Robohelp project, means in the project folder, I can see all the project files are mapped and they have TFS check-in/check-out/Get latest.... all these options as shown below:
But when I open the project, I can't see the TFS option under file menu.
Please suggest if there is any solution...

Just to be safe: Did you also install the VS 2012 Shell (Isolated) and the TFS plugin? As far as I know, you need the shell and the TFS provides apart from the MSSCCI provider. (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/robohelp/articles/robohelp-tfs-integration.html)
The interesting thing is not that the connection is lost, but that if you want to browse it, you don't see a browse page. Normally, RH would just show you a popup where you can select the project.
Now for some magic: **Note: I will describe how to manually change your source control link. Make sure that you have a backup apart from TFS, just in case.
Check out the .XPJ file.
Remove the .CPD file.
Open the .XPJ file with a text editor, such as Notepad.
Search for the text <name>vc::cookie</name>

Now get the path from the VS project ($/BV - MVV) and the full path to the folder in source control where the project is stored.

Open the project with RoboHelp.
You connection should now be restored. Note that if you make even a small mistake in the TFS project path, RoboHelp will not be able to find the project.

In plus i have four parameters with searchlight options, the problem is when i select "Finance" from DEPT2 and in the next selection level i'm seeing all the departments "Accounting,Asset Management and Bridge Dsgn Insp Hyd" insted of just "Accounting". What i want is if i select a department in DEPT2, in the next drop down list(DEPT3) i want to see only the departement corresponding to the one i selected in dept2. Please need help.

First of all you need to be using Discoverer 10g or 11g Plus not 9.0.4. Assuming you have the right version you need to present the parameters in the correct order. You can change the order on the parameters screen by selecting Tools | Parameters from the toolbar. You then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to place them in the right order so that DEPT1 is offered first, followed by DEPT2, then DEPT3 and then DEPT4.
Next, you need to check the radion button on the bottom of the right-hand side that allows linking of parameters then you make DEPT2 dependent upon DEPT1, with DEPT3 dependent upon DEPT2 and so on.
While this works without hierarchies it works best when you have a hierarchy in place and even better when there is a composite index on the 4 items.
