Need generic print driver for Officejet 7210 all-in-one on Windows 8.1

Updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, which removed my print driver for an Officejet 7210 all-in-one. Attempted to reinstall. Error that file not found. Followed detailed process to a tee (deleted temp files, removed startup programs, everything). Driver doesn't work but printer does with other computers. Printer is no longer supported and no help (but is in great working condition).
I'm looking for a generic driver that would work with my printer and Windows 8.1. I really appreciate any help...

Hi LChristofaro,
I have researched your error message and the Msiexec.exe error and it is an issue with windows installer. I recommend restarting your windows installer.
To do this:
1. Run "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks).
2. Double-click "Windows Installer" in the Services list.
3. Click Stop and click OK.
4. Click Start and click OK.
Restart you computer and try the install again.

Need networked printer driver for HP LJ 1022N for Windows 8.1 x64

We've had this printer setup on our Windows 2003 print server for years & now that I'm transitioning to a Windows 2012 print server & Win 8.1 clients, the only driver I'm finding is a host-based driver for usb. Is there another driver I can use on the print server for this printer? It wasn't listed in the UPD supported list nor is it in the HP list in the Add driver dialog after updating from Windows Updates. I appreciate any help you can provide!

I understand your concerns with the Laserjet 1022N. If you're looking for a Windows 2012 print server, then there is no full feature software. Now, for your Windows 8.1, there is a full feature software on the HP website here.
If you need help install this software over a network connection, then please follow this HP document on Installing the Printer Software in Windows 8.1 for a USB or Network Connection.

The Deskjet 1220 driver was written by HP and is supplied through Windows Update. AFAIK it has been available since Windows 8 was originally released.

What I would do is this...
Download but do not run the full driver.

Download and install this free file utility.

After you install 7-Zip, right click on the full feature software and driver file and select the 7-Zip option from the menu.
Select Extract to: and let it extract the file to the file name of the folder so it will be easy to find in the next step.
Now I think the driver you need is in the hposcu01 setup information file.
So, when you are ready to install the printer driver and you select "Have Disk" to navigate to the driver files, browse to the folder 7-zip extracted the files to\hposcu01, and select the HP Officejet 7400 from the list of devices and see if the driver installs that way.

I have an old G3 iBook running OS 9.2.2 and I need to get hold of a printer driver for a Stylewriter 1200.
Does anyone have one lurking in their system that they could email to me? I've tried searching the net and Apple site for one, but no joy so far.

Is there a workaround for a print driver to run on Lion for an old Xerox Workcenter M15i

I have an older Xerox Workcenter M15i. I am trying to use this printer using a new macbook pro running lion. The Xerox web site does not offer a print driver. Does anyone know of a workaround?

I recently got a new modem and I need to update my SSID and password on my HP wireless printer. The printer software that came with the printer and on the hp website for the printer only supports Mac OSX and doesn't work for OSX Lioin 10.7.4
Is there a way to get software that could update my printer or should i remove and somehow reinstall the printer with different software?

You should use the Setup Assistant to reconfigure the wireless connection:
Make sure the printer turned on and connected to your Mac by USB.
Go to Applications\Hewlett-Packard\Device Utilities and follow the HP Setup Assistant. it will guide you to connect the printer to your new router.
If you can't find the Hewlett-Packard folder you will need to install the HP software by selecting the HP Recommended Software, the software van be found in the following link:

Most office jet printers are not very smart, so you may have to run a setup program (included in the download) to "discover" the printer.

Now that I have updated to the newest OS I'm frustrated because neither Hewlett Packard nor Apple has a driver for the printers that I have. So I can't print from my laptop to any of my printers. I need a printer driver for OS X Mavericks and a Kyocera FS -1118MFP

My printer doesnot work in the Apple envivorment with the driver I use for my windows computer and I can't find the correct driver on the site of Kyocera.

You could try using the Generic PostScript PPD wwhen adding the printer. If that doesn't work, you should probably contact Kyocera to see if they will support your printer.

Check this,it may be helpful to solve your issue...
goto SPAD , select full adminstration
click in device types(tab)
click device types, double click your printer device from the list (Ex, SWIN),
CLICK "FORMATS", goto your page format and double click on it, if printer initialization is active double click on it and comment all the code by placing # in the beginning... as this is the place where it overrides printer settings...
