But the transaction variant is making DISPLAY ONLY for all the fields.

Epson: No Duplex Scan with some apps form the mac store

Hallo everyone,
I have an problem with my epson scanner and some apps from the App Store.
My Epson Workforce 3540 can duplex scanning. With Image Capture this works. But with some apps from the appstore, witch uses self-scanning dialogs, and not the image capture dialog, it do not work. I can select duplex scan, the printer scans the first side, change the papger site, and scan the other side, but the application gets only the first side.
I tested one other printer and this worked.
I contact the developer, the said: We use standard apis from apple (ICDeviceBrowser, ICScannerDevice) and their is noch way make a failure. Then I contact Epson and they told me: Contact Apple!
Is this problem new? It must be a driver problem, or? Help!

Blurd,transparent messagebox with some values to be selected

I have seen many times that if we give any command on web page then a blurd and transparent type messagebox comes on screen with some values in it and screen .
When we select any value on that messagebox that values goes on next page.
I dont know how to proceed for such transparent window.

I need filter this table and extract only one row per ID. The row that I need is the row who contains the Max(DateChangeState) per ID. I don’t know how extract only the rows selected from the physical table to the Logical Table.
I need that the logical table contains the next rows:
T1_Logical

How can I extract only the rows with the Max(DateChangeState) grouped by ID in the BMM?
I thought put this condition in the column mapping (CASE WHEN DateChangeState=Max(DateChangeState)) but the Max(DateChangeState) was not grouped by ID.
Any idea about how solve this problem?
I can not use the group by in the answer and I can not change the physical layer.

Problem With Push buttons on the selection screen

Hi All,
I've taken 3 push buttons on the selection-screen with the following syntax
SELECTION-SCREEN: FUNCTION KEY 1,
                  FUNCTION KEY 2,
                  FUNCTION KEY 3.
and have removed the F8 execute button using FM RS_SET_SELSCREEN_STATUS
Now, the problem is i'm able to perform validations using At selection screen but the code after the Start-of-selection is not being triggered.
I mean the processing is being terminated after the at selection-screen.could anyone please tell me how do i trigger some code after the event start-of-selection when a user presses a push button with sy-ucomm = FC01.

Check the below sample program :

ALV GRID WITH SUMMATORIES DEPEND OF THE SELECTION

Hi Experts.
I have a form, in which depend of the selection, I show to user a fieldcatalog with the data (query) that the user want to see in that moment ...
The problem is that the user want to see one field (amount, sum total (money) ...etc) with summatories, group by date, person...or other depend of the selection he has done in the select dynpro.
How can I do it when I show the ALV??... The user don't want to use the option to make a lot of select dispositions in the ALV..., he want to see the disposition of the data depend the selection he do in the select dynpro.
I see when I create the fieldcatalog to the ALV GRID, there is a field ... do_sum, I have marked it, in the field which I want to do a summatory but don't do anything in the ALV when display.... and don't find how indicate in the fieldcatalog the field which I wan't group by...
Other options, that I have thought it's to make a lot of dispositions in ALV, and when display de ALV try to get the disposition that I want ... but I haven't did it.

I managed to activate the functions with the following code:

* loop through all functions and enable them and set them visible.
* here u can also activate separate functions if you check the name with the method from r_function (CL_SALV_FUNCTION->GET_NAME)
     LOOP AT lo_funcs INTO lo_func.
       lo_func-r_function->set_enable( value = 'X' ).
       lo_func-r_function->set_visible( value = 'X' ).
     ENDLOOP.

Prob with Push Buttons in the selection screen

Hi All,
1) I have 6 push buttons in the selection screen(Normal Report), 3 in a first row(P11, P12, P13) and 3 in the second row(P21, P22, P23). If I press one push button(for ex P11) the other two Push buttons(P12 P13) should grey out(Inactive mode). If I press P22, P21 & P23 shoul grey out.
2) I need color change for the Inactive push buttons.

Can you please post your selection screen definition? I don't understand what you want to achieve by greying out the other pushbuttons when one is pressed.
Does that mean pushing one button will do nothing except greying out the buttons?
Typically when you push a button, you want to continue to execute the required processing for that button not just grey out other pushbuttons and stay in the selection screen.
Anyway, you can achieve that using the following logic. I am not sure how and if you can achieve the color change.

Hi. How can I create restriction in browsing some page using ADF BC, for example if I create Search page I will browse some data which satisfy WHERE condition where something = search parameter.

Need help in creating a view with Encryption for hiding the code used by the multiple users

Can anyone help me out in creating view with encryption data to hide the stored procedure logic with other users.
I have create a stored procedure with encryted view but while running this manually temporary views are getting created, therefore the problem is if there are 500 entries then 500 temp views will get created.
Any solution to aviod creating temporary views, please refer my code below

it contains the tablename in one view name.

With some websites (eg the EU Court of Justice) I can't either open or download the pdfs of court judgments - why is this and how do I get things to work?

I have Firefox 4.0.1. Most of the time I can open or download pdfs supplied by business sites without any problem. But sometimes (eg with the EU Court of Justice website) I can no longer do this. I say "no longer" because I could do it with earlier versions of Firefox. The only way I can now get at the EU Court of Justice pdfs and other unobtainable pdfs is to fire up Internet Explorer, which seems a bit silly. How can I get Firefox 4.0.1 to open up / download these pdfs?

Need to create orders in bulk with one commit at the end

I need to be able to create service orders or (compatible unit orders) in bulk where i call either 'BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' or 'IM_SM_CREATE_ORDER' multiple times without commit. As far i understood after testing and reading documentation, it is not possible i always need to do commit after calling those function modules. Is there any other API in PM which can create orders in bulk where i can do a commit only at the end.

Check if ALM_ME_ORDER_CREATE would help.You would need to call CO_ZV_ORDER_POST to commit.If looking for CU order, have a look at /***/BAPI_CUORDER_CREATE.You may have to copy this and call the ALM_ME_ORDER_CREATE instead of the BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN, if looking to do a mass commit.

U can add a description to the search field in the search iView by customizing the sap.km.cm.basicsearch iView.Download the PAR file from the server machine or from System Administration>support>Portal Runtime>Browse Deployment>Save the PAR file in local machine and import the same to NWDS and customize according to ur requirement.
