Need a utility to mass-edit "TV Show" & "Movie" metadata

As many of you know, if you import your own videos into iTunes, it always assumes it's a movie instead of a TV show. Yes, you can manually select "TV Show" from the pull-down menu, but that's of little help if you are importing (for example) all 6 seasons of the Highlander TV show that you own on DVD...or, all the Alias seasons.
I have over 500 TV show episodes (that I *OWN* on DVD) that I've converted into iPod videos and loaded into iTunes. iTunes considers all of these "Movies."
I can't see why Apppplllle will not allow mass-editing of this metadata field, like it does others, including album, artist, group, etc. If you do a multiple selection and try to edit the metadata, you can't change the metadata for TV Show and Movie.
Does anyone have an alternative. Lostify requires manually doing each video, which isn't better than iTunes. The same goes for vID_Infiltr8.
This wasn't a big deal until the new version of iTunes included selections on the left for Movies and TV Shows. Now, all of my own TV Shows always show up as Movies. And, I can't change the Apple-sold TV shows to show up as Movies either, so I can't have all of my TV shows in one place within iTunes.
This has just got to be a simple coding issue within iTunes. C'mon Aapppllllee, fix it!!!

I use vidinfiltr8 (I'm pretty sure that's the name of it) I'm @ work just now, on a thinkpad, & behind a pretty evil firewall, so I can't even check.
its buggy, and it takes some getting used to, but if you've got 2 of the three of the following brains, patience, determination then you should be alright.
(For me it was brains & determination!)
I find myself quitting this app after every sucessful re-tag. Meaning I select a bunch of files in finder, chose open with vidInfiltr8, and when I'm done tagging, quit the app.
Also, unless you change the default behavior, it writes new files instead of overwriting the existing ones. This can be good, because sometimes it crashes mid-write. Can also be annoying if you are tagging files that are already in iTunes.

**** little info about your equipment.
If you just replaced the router with an Airport Extreme or Express:
disconnect the modem from power, disconnect the new router from power, connect the modem to power and wait till it os fully started up, then connect the new router to power. After a while the amber light will turn to flashing, then after a while it will turn to green. Then with AirportUtility (in Aplications/Utilities) it should be configured with the password.

Mass Editing of Multiple Projects in PWA 13

I am a young padawan to PWA.
I have several individual projects (59 count) in PWA that have been uploaded/published without any baselines being set; in addition, I need to edit the ownership field on several projects (due to turn over). I really don't' want to spend the time to
do this project by project.
I am looking for a mass edit solution of some kind. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for the help

Hi,
There is no easy way to mass update projects' baseline, unless with powershell scripts.
If your need concern also mass update of custom fields, you can use the
Nearbaseline bulk edit free app which allows you bulk editing custom fields like in an excel sheet.

According to your description, could you please tell if you get this issue when you open any .ascx files in a specific app or all web apps have the same issue?
So if possible, I suggest you can create a simple web project in VS2012 Prof and add a .ascx files under the web project and open it again check if you get same issue.
(1) If you get same issue in a sample web project, I suggest you can try the following suggestion to check this issue.
Step1: I suggest you can try to open these .ascx files in VS safe mode check if you install some Add-ins or extension tools in your VS2013 IDE.

Step2: I suggest you can try to reset your VS setting file by going to Tools->Import and Export Settings check this issue again.

Need to find "authorization" to edit Text-to-Voice pronounce

I read a Captivate 4 blog that explained how to edit the --pretty bad-- pronounciations in the Text-to-Speech voices that come with Capitvte 4. The concept is WONDERFUL, and on reason we bought it, but the results need some work.
This blog said showed how to double-click on UserDicEng.exe and then set up new pronounciations for words and save them.
But when I did this, I got a message saying "this is a demo of the Voice-to-Text TTS system. You must contact the manufacturer to get rights." How do we get these? I thought this came as part of our software.
IS there something else I need to install, or will we eventually have to "buy" these voices, and the ability to edit them as shown in the blog. thanks/.

How do you create a smart album so that you can look at and edit slide show fashion instead of one at a time?

Sorry but I have no idea what you're asking. What s "look and edit slide show fashion"? Where does a Smart Album fit into that? You know you can move from shot to shot using the arrow keys, right?

Since Re-activation as suggested by the link above is not working for you, Can you please confirm the following:
The OperatorURL is reachable. ( you can find the operatorURL from the acsm file by opening it in notepad,etc)
And Book is still available on the book-store for purchase.
(If any of first two are not available, you might have to talk to distributor for next action item to get the book. Since you will have record of purchasing the book, (in my opinion) they should provide you the new token for downloading the book)
And please confirm this that you used the same userID for downloading that you used when you first fulfilled/downloaded the book.
(If it is the case, then you have to use the correct userID)

I would recommend setting the wireless encryption on the AirPort Express BEFORE configuring it for the AirPort Extreme in this case. This issue also comes up often when configuring AirPorts into a WDS.
If setting up security in my recommend order does not work, temporarily connect the Express by Ethernet to the Extreme; make the security changes, and then, move the Express back to the desired location.

Did you have the instructions that came with your Airport Extreme? Are you sure you have it setup properly? Here is the setup guide:

Did you create a software metering rule for each software title? if not then you need you do that first and it will take over a week before you see results.

I have the exact same question as heathy32 (I just want to get a photobook ordered, but I'm currently running iPhoto 7.1.5 with OS X 10.6.8 and discovered right at the end of the process of making this photobook that it's no longer supported with the versions I have) but I just wanted to check something with you before I proceed with the iLife 11 disk...
Namely: do I need download the iPhoto Library Upgrader first?
There seem to be issues discussed in other forums about the Upgrader, I want to make sure I don't do something like downloading it if that isn't strictly necessary.
I am perfectly happy just to install iPhoto 9 and upgrade to 9.2.3 using the updater you link to, just so long as I can get a photo book printed!
Once that is safely out of the way, I intend to upgrade to Maverick etc.

Since you posted under iMac PPC forum, which is for iMacs that can't run any operating system newer than August 28, 2009, I can't say specifically what the capabilities of your version of Preview are. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac. If you have an Intel, you do not have a PPC. If you have a G5, G4 or G3, you posted to the right forum, and just need to find the version of Preview you have in Applications folder.
