Need Adobe Acrobat X Suite Download.  I have the key but lost the disks.

I have a new computer and I'm trying to move Adobe Acrobat X from my old computer.  Looked everywhere but unable to find the disks, so I need to find an Adobe Acrobat X Suite Download.  I have the key.
UPDATE: Found the disks but now need to know the best way to make a back-up copy since these disks are rare.

    I have a registered copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and somehow I managed to muck things up when I was transferring my programs to my new MacBook Pro. Now, it doesn't work: complaining of missing components (plugins). I haven't been able to find another downloadable copy of this on the Adobe site.
    Anyone know of a solution???

    If it's a registered copy, you could try Adobe customer support. Other than that, I don't believe that there is any place on the Adobe site where you can download an older version.

    I have an unusual problem. I bought a laptop and I wanted to install my creative suite 5 so I can work from home, but I absolutely CAN not find the CD anywhere. I was wondering if there was a simple solution where I could download the Creative Suite 5 and just input my license key. I kept the information, but unfortunately misplaced the CD. Thanks so much and I appreciate the help.

    The trial download should work as long as it is the same version as the license that you have.

    I don't think any such link exist any longer. Even, Acrobat 8 is end of life now.
    My suggestion would be to either upgrade to Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X. You might also wish try Acrobat X prior purchasing the license, please download the Trial version of Acrobat X from adobe.com.

I don't know if windows update interferes with it? Has anyone else had a similar problem? Is it fixable?

    Actually, you are out of luck if you are looking for Acrobat Standard. I have run into a problem because the link is for Adobe 9.0 Pro and the serial no. for Std. won't work. I asked Adobe customer (chat) service for a downloadable of the Standard and they said they don't have one. Did you get the Std. version as part of the preinstalled software on your computer? If so, it would be on the recovery media of your old laptop but I don't know how you would retrieve it from there. I am in the exact same boat as you are. Let me know if you find out how to get the media for the Standard by responding on this thread. Thanks.

    I need help finding out how to download Adobe Acrobat Pro X? I bought it on CD with my CS6 but I cannot find those disks.  I bought a new computer and want to put it on there, but I cannot find it anywhere on line to download.  I can find the Pro XI but I need just the Pro X.  Where can I find it to download?  I have my serial number and have been able to make the other versions of CS6 to work, but I cannot find Pro X.

    Alternatively, if you've lost the disk, then you could try to contact Adobe to see if they'll send you a replacement set.
    No doubt Adobe will want to sell (sorry, rent) you the Creative Cloud version, which is download only. Of course, you may not want to get involved in that.

    Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I have tried that already. The chat support says to go to the forums. Here is a screenshot of the options I have when attempting to contact support: http://i.imgur.com/Tg7uiHP.jpg. In the chat, it asks you to select the product you need help with. Since I need assistance with version 9, I select Acrobat X & Lower versions. Once that is selected, 4a states that Acrobat 10(or is it X? not very consistent) requires a Support Contract. Then in parenthesis, 4a states "Support for Acrobat 8 and lower versions is available only on the user to user forums...".
    I called Adobe phone support and confirmed that my serial number is valid, but stated that support via phone for Acrobat 9 is not available and directed me to the forums. Now I'm on the forums and I'm directed to contact chat support. So I go to chat and it says to go to the forums for help. Where do I have to go just to download a trial of Acrobat 9 standard so I can put in my valid serial number?
