I fould a hack that makes the sites think you have the latest (Intel) version of Flash installed. So I installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari. Here's the info.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

  • Can they enable adobe flash for ipad in ios 6

    i need adobe flash!!!

Adobe has discontinued Flash on ALL mobile devices, including Android. There is no Flash that will work on a mobile device (other than a laptop).
Also, note that this forum is for the latest version of Mac OS X, and is not the right place to ask questions about iPads. There's a separate iPad forum.

    Adobe flash for iPad

Adobe Flash is not supported for the IOS platform. One app, iSwifter, allows you to view some flash content, but not all. Also, it is a paid service (An in-app payment is required.) I do not recommend this as an alternative, but it will work, at times. Hope this answers your question.

  • HT5655 Adobe Flash for iPad?

How do I get Flash movies/videos to play on my 4th gen iPad?

Adobe gave up even trying to develop a version of Flash for mobile devices over a year ago. So that's never going to happen.
What does work is using a different browser. The two most popular are the full version of Puffin, and Photon. Had there been a free version of Photon to try before buying, I never would paid for that piece of expensive junk. With Flash support turned on in its prefs, everything becomes dead snail slow. You don't even see a speed difference with Puffin.
The way both of them work is when you click on a Flash video, the clip is played on a remote server and then steamed to your iPad. Which is nice. Flash isn't using your iPad's resources to run, and they keep it up to date. It's all very transparent to the user. The Flash video plays in the spot on the web page where you expect. There's nothing weird like a separate box that opens for the video. Puffin has a free version you can try out where Flash support works for a couple of weeks.

  • Adobe flash for iPad Air?

How can I get my iPad Air to work with videos or apps that are made with Adobe flash?

Adobe Flash does not work on iPad.
There are other Flash Player substitutes available in the iTunes Store.  Search "Flash Player".
Here is one.  I know absolutely nothing about this particular product, and have no financial interest in it.

How do I view videos that need Adobe Flash Player on my iPad? If this device does not support Adobe Flash?

Skyfire is Not the answer! Bad reviews and you have to pay to try.
I used Puffin Free Browser. Worked perfectly with a 14 day free trial for Flash. It worked well for Flash videos so I would buy the full version.

  • Adobe Flash for Safari on iPad Mini? What are the alternatives?

Whhy doesn't Safari on my Mini use Adobe Flashplayer?
    Thanks!

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
Apps that can display some Flash from the Web:
    Puffin
    SkyFire
    Photon Flash
    Browse2Go
    iSwifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."
