Need an answer I am disgusted the problems are wit...

I had a letter turn up from BT yesterday and a envelope was used that was way too big for the letter this resulted in part of my account number and customer number been on show though the address window I tried to complain via the live chat and all I was offered was an apology and a promise it wont happen again. Low and behold another letter turned up today and the same thing has happened. Let me be clear 1 digit of my customer account number on show is 1 too many I consider this a very serious breach and asked for this to be investigated. But I feel as though this is not going to be done.

    If you want the menus and dialogues of the app to be in Arabic, that's not possible, there is no Arabic version of this software.
    If you just want to write Arabic language titles, etc., the language of the app is irrelevant, the input of different languages is handled by the OS, and Arabic input is always available.
    All Apple software is multilingual, no matter where you buy it. For example, the user interface for Final Cut Pro can be switched among English, Chinese, French, German, and Japanese.

    Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

    I need to add a link to the masthead area of the portal. That link needs to be able to print the content of the current page.
    Ihave downloaded the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead into the NWDS.
    Can anybody please let me know where exactly to modify the code.
    i am guessing i may need to use window.print() to print the page.

    Step 1: Adding new link in the masthead
    1. Rename the par file to your own namespace and import the PAR using eclipse
    2. To add your link - modify HeaderiView.jsp appropriately
    3. Build the PAR and export using Eclipse
    Step 2: Create an iView
    1. Content Administrator -> Portal Content -> Select the folder in which you need to create the masthead iView. Right click on the selected folder and "Select New From PAR" -> iView
    2. Select the PAR file name created by you in Step 1 a
    3. Choose "default" in Portal Component Selection
    4. Provide the properties for the iView and save
    Step 3: Modify Portal Masthead
    1. Add the iView created in Step 2 to the Framework Page of your application
    2. Remove the existing Masthead iView from the framework page and add iView created in Step 2 in the framework page.
    3. Note that the position should be the same where the previous masthead is removed.
    Logoff and logon with the user who is assigned the framework page - you should be able to see the new masthead with links
    Incase you are changing the default framework page and default masthead ensure that you have a backup so that you can revert.

    The original iPad can be updated to iOS 5.1.1. All more recent iPads can be updated to iOS 6.1.
    If your iPad is running an iOS version prior to 5.0 you must update the iOS by connecting the iPad to your computer.
    Start iTunes on the computer you normally sync with and connect your iPad.
    Select your pad in iTunes on your computer.
    Select Summary from the row of tabs presented.
    Scroll down under Summary to find Check for Updates.
    Follow the prompts. You might also disable virus protection software on your computer while doing the update. You can turn it back on when the update is complete.

    my pc is filled with pics now.. i need to delete them off the computer..
    i have transfered the whole Picture directory to Verbatim external hard drive..
    i used an 8 megapixel camera.. most pics in the Verbatim are about 40kb
    before deleting the pics off the main comp i wanted to be sure the quality is the same on the transferred files to the ones i have on the main comp.
    I brought back one file from verbatim into iphoto.. and it was showing in there as a small photo... any zooming at all causing pixelation... ie nothing like the high quality original i already have on the iphoto..
    can anyone tell me whats going on pls? i really must delete the photos but want to be sure i have made good copies first..
    please feel free to expose how thick i am!

    Why don't you just run iPhoto with the library on the external drive - quit iPhoto, drag the iPhoto library as a single entity to the external drive and launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) key - use the select library command to direct iPhoto to use the external drive
    After you have done this and checked your library you can trash the one on yoru internal drive (I suggest testing iPhoto one more time before emptying the trash just to be sure)

  • Backup Disk Image could not be created-- Answer-2 Fixes to the problem

    Sorry I posted this twice but I wanted it posted as an answer and not a question, because this problem was really frustrating for me and I was so relieved when I finally figured it out. So here are my answers and I hope they Help...
    In order for TC to backup your entire HD it needs to create a Disk Image on your Mac. For example you would have seen your computer do this operation if you ever installed programs on your Mac computer.
    I actually had this same problem and I searched the forum for answers. One fix that I found was that your computer might actually not be named. To fix this click on the apple in the upper left hand corner and then go to >System Preferences. Then click on >Sharing, after you do that you will see Computer name at the top. Type in whatever name you like for that part and then also turn on file sharing by clicking the box next to it below.
    The other fix to this problem...which was actually the solution to mine, was that during setup 2 files for a Disk Image mount were created onto the Time Capsule itself. It is only supposed to have one. *In order to fix this problem-->If your Time Capsule is setup so it allows file sharing you should be able to see it as a connectable disk drive in your Finder window under sharing. Click on Time Capsule from there and enter in you password. You should now be able to search though the files on it. Since this is your first time setting it up there should only be one file visible on the Drive and that one file is what creates the mounted Disk Drive...(What I found on my Time Capsule drive was a file labeled with a bunch of numbers and then a Shared folder and then another file with a bunch of numbers in that). For me it actually turned out that the first file was not working properly but the one in the shared folder was. So I deleted the first file and dragged the second file that was working out of the shared folder and into the main part of the Time capsule Disk and then deleted the shared folder.
    The way you can tell which file is the correct one is by double clicking it, if you get an error message right away, delete it. If it starts to load, then that is the file you should keep. After I did this mine worked fine and backed up my disk last night. I hope this helps

They were stumped and were transferring me to "The Wireless Multimedia Group" which has a wait time of 60 minutes or grater.

  • Have itunes 6, need 7 for shuffle, that's the problem!

    I already have an older ipod and nano and had been using itunes 6 no problem. I have tried with no luck to use itunes 7. The icon just dosen't work after updating. No error messages. Why can't shuffle work in itunes 6??? Any way around this, I just cant get itunes 7 to work. I've uninstalled and installed countless times. I finally put itunes 6 up and no problem except my shuffle won't work. Any ideas?

    Do You by chance have Norton Internet Security 2005 on your PC?
    Are you able to open Quicktime at all? If not, do the same symptoms occur, or do you get any types of error messages, and if so, what are they?
    Also, read thru these troubleshooting steps highlighted in these articles and see if it helps this problem. If not, we may need to look at a malware problem.

  • WELL, WHAT DO WE DO NOW  ??? you answered me !! The problem is across all actions on the display on screen . No matter what I do. I tried getting driver updates from INTeL but even if I tell them it is a Mac the system sends me Drivers for Windows..

    well I'm sure this MacBook Pro 13' (right outa the box) needs driver updates. Is it a retina version ?? I don't know..?? but before I take it back. I want to try everything.

    MacOS X should already include the correct drivers as part of the OS. Figure it out: they built the MacBook Pro and they built the operating system...  they knew what they would be working with.
    Mavericks is brand new and may have the odd fault, but if you're having basic display problems with a new machine it's probably hardware. Take your machine to a Mac Store. This is why they have warranties.
    ps: using very large and/or bold characters is equated with shouting and is considered rude. plain old font works best.
    p.s.s.: You posted in the Mac Pro forum (for the big workstation systems) not the MacBook Pro forum (for laptops.)

    Try updating your QuickTime to the most recent version. Does that clear up the DEP errors in iTunes?
