Need an app to edit and sign word documents (sign with stylus)! Notability let's me sign but doesn't pull up letter head, quickofficepro let's me edit but not sign. Looking for an app that does both

I am looking for an app where I can edit word documents as well as sign them.  I am a physical therapist whose looking to cut down on paper work.  Someone types my evaluations and then we print them out for me to edit by hand and then they go back and make the corrections on the computer then w print them and sign them to send off.  Recently I have begun using apps where I can pull up the document and edit it thru quickofficepro or through cloudon, but I cannot sign them using a stylus pen.  I also have notability which I can use to sign the documents, but it doesn't save the document as a doc, it's either a PDF or rtf. Also, in notability, it doesn't pull up the letter head for our company which is a template with our logo on it.  So I need an app where I can both edit and sign my documents by hand using a stylus.  If someone could provide me with any relevant information I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for your time.

Hi,
Pages for Mac OS X, the topic discussed in this community won't do it.
I think you'll have a better chance for a useful answer in either the Using iPad or the iPad in the Enterprise community.

System keeps looking for a 'server' that does not exist. Is says the old name of my Airport Extreme. Clicking it away (4x) finally  gets through.

Other weirdness to report: my neighbor upstairs appears to have a Linksys router network on channel 6. My AEBS is on channel 1 so there shouldn't be interference... but according to iStumbler sometimes the signal leaps to 64000 (keep in mind my own Airport never tops 60)! Is that potentially the problem?
Might it be possible that your neighbor just acquired a 802.11n (pre-N) wireless router recently?
802.11n effectively increases capacity by doubling the number of Wi-Fi radios and increasing the number of antennas used to push signals out of those radios. 802.11n splits a data frame into multiple pieces. It then transmits these pieces in parallel using multiple radios that are attached to multiple antennas. These antennas blast out signals from virtually the same vantage point – scattering the signals everywhere.
You may find the following ZDNet article interesting: http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/?p=247
Even if he did not, and you are on good terms, you might want to ask if he can temporarily turn off his wireless, or, at least, reduce the signal strength to see if that will help in your situation.

  • It it possible to look for a page that does not contain a string?

Is it possible in the search feature in Dreamweaver CS3 to find all pages that do NOT contain a specific string?

I don't think so, at least not directly. I could be wrong, Regular Expressions can be pretty powerful, I'm not sure how well they're implemented in CS3 though: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/regular_expressions_pt1.edu.html
Maybe you could do a find/replace of that specific string, with itself.
All of the files that have it would be updated without actually changing the code.
The Date Modified for the file would change though.
The files without the string of info you are looking for would have the old modification date.

  • Looking for a cable that does audio out from the dock connection

I would like to use the iphone with the aux in on my car stereo. I have my iphone in a proclip cradle that is mounted to the dash. I would like a cable that plugs in to the dock connection on the bottom of the iphone and goes into the aux in on the front of my car stereo. I really don't want to use the headphone jack on the top since I have to use the adapter, and after you plug that in to the iphone, and then the cable into that, it sticks up like a mile in the air. Does anyone know of any cables that will work for me??

I have an old 512 MB iPod Shuffle that I gave my 8-yr old son and as well as an iPod Nano that I recently purchased for my daughter. I tried to use my car AUX (Honda Jazz) to play from my iPhone and looks like it does not work for my iPhone (yes, I made it to work in Vodafone network in New Zealand). Then I tried with the old iPod shuffle and it works fine as well. Lastly I tried with iPod Nano and looks like it works with iPod Nano as well. Later I tried with a Samsung headphone to see if it did work with my iPhone (instead of iPhone headphone), it worked well. I am not sure what to do now. I might call Apple to see if they have anything that'll work for iPhone.
    Cheers,
    S

  • Looking for a BAPI that does the same as /$SYNC

    Dear Experts,
Could someone tell me which BAPI resets all buffers, I need one just like running /$SYNC. Thanks in advance.
PS: I use a system for test purpose, not a real one in a company.

Thanks for your answer Markus. I would like to call the t-code $SYNC out of the SAP GUI, because I am using a webservice to measure the memory used in the buffers, which gives me the same as the transaction ST02 (and I want to avoid the SAP GUI effect on memory usage by using ST02 and $SYNC, for the ST02 I have a BAPI, but not for the T-Code).Then I need to reset the buffers to know how much memory is used by some of my webservices.
Do you know a way to use this t-code $SYNC out of the SAP GUI?
PS: I use a system for testing purposes, not a real one in a company. And it's on Unix.

  • Looking for a terminal that does not truncate lines when resized

I am a huge fan of tiling window managers in general and have used dwm exclusively for over a year now. One thing that drives me crazy though is that when I switch a terminal window from being the primary window to a secondary and then back again, all of the lines are truncated to the smaller width. If I am watching a log file for example, this makes the previous output totally unreadable. Does anyone have a solution for this? Is there a way to make the terminal not truncate the lines if resized to a smaller width?
    Thanks!

  • Looking for a bluetooth headphone for my Macbook Air and Ipad Mini, I am not looking for a headphone that needs a transmitter to be connected to the source rather a headphone that can be connected directly via bluetooth to the source device

I am desperately looking for a bluetooth headphone that would be compatible to my Macbook air and Ipad mini both. I am more of looking for a headphone that does not need a transmitter device to be connected to the source (in this case Macbook Air and Ipad Mini) and headphone acting as a receiver, rather need a headphone that would be connected directly via bluetooth to the source, it would be great if multiple apple devices be connected simultaneously. Please suggest some good headphones.

Hey sorry for the late reply, I was busy to figure out alternatives as harman kardon was a difficult affair to find and acquire, but the good news is I managed to get hold of alternative.
Sony I assume recently launched a Bluetooth headphone DR-BTN200 which is compatible to my MacBook Air , iPad mini and android phone galaxy s2 with ease, the sound quality is pretty good as compared to other brands of Bluetooth headphones I checked compatible or incompatible to apple devices alike, this is definitely what I was looking for, costed me 7990 INR, this is highly recommended for ppl who are confused, I carried my devices to the store and checked before I bought a pair and pretty much happy,
The best part of this is its battery backup, I have used this hours for 3-5 days but this has not drain even then, but I do keep this charging once in 2-3 days just to keep this ready otherwise it does not even ask for it neither the quality of sound drops after 2-3 days of use.
This is over the ear headphone which is very soft but it's get sweaty around the ear I guess that's bound to happen.
Do get back to me for any other details, would be glad to share with all :)

  • I am looking for an App that gives me some graphics to title pages and margins in word documents

I am looking for an App that gives me some graphics for Word 2011 title pages, and margins.  A range of screen backgrounds for the page would be useful as my word documents are sent mostly online. ...appropriate for business  topics.

I use documents to go and find that it works very will. It also has a desktop program that will allow for wifi syncing of documents outside of iTunes. It, like any app, won't have all the bells and whistles and formatting goodies of a full fledged program, but it does have basic formatting (bold, underline, italics, indents)
I don't think it comes with many fonts, but the iPad itself doesn't have a lot of fonts either.

  • I am looking for an application that would allow me to open a word doc, and take notes in the .doc using a stylus pen.  I'd then like to convert those notes to text, and then be able to copy / paste those notes into an email.  Does this app exist?

I am looking for an application that would allow me to open a word doc, and take notes in the .doc using a stylus pen.  I'd then like to convert those notes to text, and then be able to copy / paste those notes into an email.  Does this app exist?  It seems like we were doing these same types of things with Palm Pilots years ago, one would think this would work with iPads?

I don't believe it will open a Word document, but Writepad allows for handwritten conversion of notes to text and then to email. Might help you some of the way...

  • I'm looking for an app that will allow me to upload my contracts and forms to my iPad, fill in a customer's personal information, sign them, save them and email them.

I'm looking for an app that will allow me to upload my contracts and forms to my iPad, fill in a customer's personal information, sign them, save them and email them.  I looked at easySign, Filemaker, FM Touch, Sign Docs, Zosh, Exzact, Mi-Co

FormConnect (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/formconnect/id432653695?mt=8&ls=1) can handle the filling out, signing, saving and emailing the contracts/forms but uploading the contract and the form is going to be a challenge because you’re dealing with paper documents that have to be scanned.  If you can convert the scanned documents into an OCR program, you might be able to copy and paste the contract without having to retype it but the form itself is probably going to have to be recreated.  Alternatively, you could use a document annotation program such as iAnnotate and mark up the contract with ink.

    Hi ron1098,
Try my application Dates to iCal. it runs on the Mac, but you can sync the calendar to your iOS device.
