Need an app which can remember icon positions

buy any Mac
use if for awhile
sooner or later your desktop icons will get reorganized - typically by connecting large external monitors and then disconnecting
this can make a mess of your desktop icons, and if you have many, like I do, its a real PIA to have to reorg these every other time you connect to that large monitor
does anyone know of an app which remembers where the icons are and can snap them back into place, ala the OS9 days ?

Hi there, I am setting up an online furniture company and need a software which can take a cut out of my product (e.g. a sofa which was photographed on its own in real life) and overlay the fabric swatch onto it so the customer can see the sofa/ product they have selected in any of the colours/ fabrics I offer.

Need a character which can nullify a tab while printing a variable

My variable has data as vinod,,reddy,,g
When, I am passing to script it should print as it is, but it is printing as vinod reddy g
This is causing error to read the text as lot of space is coming inbetween...
I know ,, will act as tab in Script. But need some character which can be placed inbetween the data of ,, so that it gets nullified in sap script while printing and data prints as vinod,,reddy,,g

declare variable like data: lv_space type char10 value ' '

When i am trying to add Custom Code App in solution manager, i get an error 'There is no app which can be added to this dashboard'. I could not find any info on how to fix this error.

Hi Sai,
the CCLM dashboards before SP12 are filled from the old CCL infocube.
With SP12 there is a new CCL cube that delivers the data into the ICI cubes.
Here comes one example how to work with the new dashboards, example: customer objects per system. Go to the dashboard section in CCLM first.
Go to ICI Input measures:
Push directly next and go to the second screen –push change and chose KPI total #custom objects --> push add series and add a name for clas and func --> add:
Sorry, next picture should show CLAS and not FUNC when adding the object type on the right side ... but you will figure it out... I took a wrong screen shot it seems ...
Go out and refresh CCLM - you should see the new types now per system. Aslo you could set up goals that you could monitor. These new dashboards are more flexible.

I'm in need of creating a Application in Flex AIR (mx) which could examine the text of one (1) textInputBox checking against a hard coded list or Xml list of any of the previous data, and therefor[B] 'Preventing Duplicate Records' [/B]to be included! I'm talking here of a list with around 1200+ entries at the moment but growing! I only need the App. to check the existing list against the new text line and if it is a duplicated record to show an Alert - No need of text length or any other Validation at all just to examine and verification if or if not.

If you have a list of array with 1200 entries, lets say
var listData:Array = ['entry1', 'entry2', ....., entry1200];
and if you have a variable which needs to be examined, lets say:
var myText:String = 'someEntryValue';
Then you can examine this value with the array like this:

I need to take a lot of notes in my daily customer/sales meetings. The very reason for buying an ipad is to try how I can avoid taking notes and then again typing them in emails etc. What are the market leading apps which can help me to avoid this?

Are there any apps which helps resolving this? Say as for example it can turn my wiriting to some ascii text and then it becomes highly reusable.
Advanced features can be that it understands drawings and convert them into separate jpegs which can be reused as well

Given you had just purchased this phone 20 days before it became defective, I of course can understand you being upset by the described experience. I honestly wish the representatives you spoke to had been clearer in their advice to you.

After that timeframe has past any defects or damage would need to be addressed by any coverage on the phone. Your phone has two types of coverage. It has its manufacturer’s warranty and the Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plan.
The manufacturer’s warranty should cover any defects within the first year of owning the phone; while your GSP would cover beyond that time, and any covered damage within the first year. Since you are claiming the unit is defective it should be covered by LG’s warranty, and you will need to work with them to get the phone repaired or replaced.
We could request a refurbished replacement under your GSP, but per the terms of your GSP you would be charged a service fee, and for a smartphone the service fee is $150. Since LG should not be charging to repair or replace your phone, under their warranty, I once again highly recommend you work with them towards getting this resolved.

Suggestions? I need an app that can make a document or lists that include unlimited text, photos, AND drawings?

Just as I said, I need to be able to make some kind of document where I can combine text, photos, and drawings/sketches for ideas/plans. Anyone know of an app or apps that can do that? I can find ones that do text & photos easy, but it's the ability to add sketches/drawings into one document that I really need. I know of one newer app that is new that attempts it, Ideaz, but it has a lot of bugs, you can only type in about 50 characters of text & trying to draw in it doesn't even work. It's awful.

You can't add sketches, only tables & photos plus it doesn't have very good reviews. But thank you for your quick reply.

Xperia T - Is there any app which can hide the menu icons at the bottom screen

I use the Tab for handwriting notes. However, it is impossible not to touch the bottom icons with your wrist. When you do, you are returned to the home page. This is terribly frustrating when you are unable to complete a note without constantly switching beck to the home page.
The manual shows the three icons on the left of the screen which would help to solve the problem. How can I get my icons to move to the left? (or somewhere else - or disabled). I don't want to root the tablet just to achieve this!

I guess you mean Xperia tablet Z and not Xperia T?
In an earlier Android version (4.1) the soft keys where located in the left corner. In Android 4.2 the soft keys are located in the middle instead.
It is not possible to hide the soft keys as standard in Tablet Z and I'm not aware of any app with that functionality.
