Need assistance on db configuratons

Question

Hi Guys
Im desperate for your help. My mapping is a pretty large mappning - lots of joins - huge amout of data - its only update ---
The map is configured to run att commit frequence 1000 - bulk 50 - row based (target only).
Due to its a huge map I get the following errors -
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 24 bytes (kxs-heap-f,frame segment)
ORA-06512: at "OWB_REPOSIT.WB_RT_MAPAUDIT", line 561
ORA-01403: no data found
ORA-06512: at "OWB_REPOSIT.WB_RT_MAPAUDIT", line 2402
ORA-06512: at "OWB_REPOSIT.WB_RT_MAPAUDIT", line 3356
ORA-06512: at "CUSTOMER_CONTACT_U", line 4474
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 956 bytes (kxs-heap-c,temporary memory)
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 716 bytes (kxs-heap-w,kxfqlobf)
ORA-06512: at "CUSTOMER_CONTACT_U", line 5894
ORA-06512: at line 1
Iv read on the metalink that if its a big PL/SQL, its important to have enough memory allocated to PGA ?
Any ideas what to do ?
And one more questions, does the update statement do any sorting ? Then maybe it could be that sort_area_size could help ?
