Can a key figure be used as an attribute? If yes then what is the procedure for doing this?

Yes you can,
The purpose is that you'll have a key figure that it's a property of a characteristic, also is extracted as master data, just like any other attribute of that characteristic.
You'll also have the advantage of using that attribute as a key figure just like a navigational attribute, not having to fill an InfoProvider, just marking on or off as a navigational attribute.

Major Printing Problem-Need Assistence

Since updating to 10.4.5 I can no longer print graphic files, except .pdf. iPhoto, Safari, Photoshop no longer print a graphic file, will print text or very small files. Mail, Printshop 2 will print. Word will print text files, but not graphic files.
What I have tried: Diskwarrior, dumping plist files. Latest printer driver, and everything else I have done in the past, checked this list and Adobe's forums, no answer. Printer: Xerox 8550DP. Tried generic driver and Xerox,s. Everything worked just fine until the 10.4.5 update. I NEED to print large graphic files. It's costing not to be able to. How do I backdate to 10.4.4?
Any other suggestions? It seems every other update breaks something in printing. Frustrating. This time seems to be the biggest break. After 4 hrs. troubleshooting and no fix in sight, I need HELP.

Our office had a similar problem when printing to our Canon iR3220 printer in from one of our iMac G5 computers (10.4.6).
I researched the error and I discovered software that was able to rectify the problem. Of course, you should download at your own risk/discretion, but we have been using it for a day and are able to print with no problems whatsoever.

Read the information carefully. The download and subsequent re-creation of the printer in the Printer Setup Utility was a breeze, at least for us.

Install Problems, need assistence ASAP

Eveyr time i try to install iTunes the same thing happens: it gets to the iTunes+Quicktime load bar and gets up to 4 bars and then freezes. Wha's wrong?

Sounds like its having issue removing quicktime.
In Windows DISABLE antivirus then goto control panel>Add and remove and uninstall itunes and quicktime.
Now disable antivirus/security programs again and download/install itunes

Need Assistence Configuring 2 Aironet 1310s as a Bridge

I'm just starting to setup 2 1310s as a bridge for the first time. I've setup some basic settings through the web interface: IP settings on the BVIs, single SSID, and no security (yet). Also, I've set one as a root-bridge and the other as a non-root bridge. Things seem to look good so far on the root bridge, but when I try to enable the the dot11 interface on the non-root bridge, I keep getting the following message in the log:
%LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to reset
%DOT11-4-CANT_ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, cannot associate: No Response
I guess the first obvious question is: should I be able to establish a wireless signal without the external antennas? I don't have the external antennas yet, but my understanding is that I can establish a wireless signal without them as long as the 2 1310s are fairly close together; right now they are in my lab only a couple feet apart.
If my assumption is correct, what am I missing here?

Thanks for the response, I do have the internal antennas enabled. Unfortunately, I don't have rubber duck antennas to work with, but it sounds like the internal antennas should work for testing. I also have the TNC connectors facing each other. I'm still getting the same error. Here, let me include the configurations, maybe someone will notice my mistake:

Urgent!!! Need help in file read/write data to a serial port

I really need someone's help in order for me to complete my project. I have attached a vi which I have taken from an example and integrate to my project. In the vi, I have managed to get the encoder counts using Ni 9411. I need to read/write that data from ni9411 to ni9870 without using any serial port as they are connected to a NI 9104 chasis. May I know whether I am correct in writing the data to my ni9870 port using the vi I have attached? Does anyone know how i can convert the number of counts to a 8-bit data/byte so that I can send the data through the RS232 port? I really need someone's help as I need to finished in 2 weeks time.
I have also attached an vi on controlling the epos2 controller using instrument driver. Does anyone know how can i integrate this vi to the fpga vi (the one which I need to read/write data to 9870) as I need to send those data to control my epos2 controller.
Please help me!!!

As I allready suggested you here, call your local NI Office and ask for assistance!
You really need assistence in a higher level that we can provide via the forums. Otherwise I don't see a chance for you to finish your project in time.

There is NO way ( absolutely NO way) to port this vi to FPGA. It's based on VISA calls, uses an event-structure, both are not available at the FPGA.
The only thing you could do is to analyze the VI, the instruction set and design an FPGA vi which handles the specific instructions you would need.
I have no experience with epos2 and I'm not 100% sure if this would work as you would like to use it. And doing this needs deep knowledge of LabVIEW, VISA, Instrument Drivers, the epos hardware, FPGA programming, and so on...

HT1933 The app i want to report has been removed from the app store, but an app with an IDENTICAL interface has cropped up. I need customer services now please.

Ages ago, i bought a app called vdownloader+ which boasted a unlimited downloading fucntion, the app downloads off of youtube and saves the video to the app and makes it viewable offline with no internet connection, and can download off other compatible sites too. Now its disappeared off the app store, i have found out it cannot have unlimited downloads. Annoyed. Now, there is another app on the app store with a different logo, barely different may i add, and IDENITCAL interface. This person must of created both apps, and i'm not getting any responce off of either problem email addresses which where supplied with both apps. (I downloased the lite version of the new app called Video downloader lite -Vdownload. I need assistence filing a complaint and taking this extremly seriously as i got conned into buying an app.

IPod error, firwmare error

I tried to update my new nano from 1.1 to 1.2 with iPod updater via windows. the problem is that when i click on update, after some seconds the program tells me that there was an error with the firmware and the update fails. BUT if i click immediatelly RESTORE, the ipod has been updated correctly. So, where is the problem? Is there a firmware problem or not? Just to knnow if i need assistence or not...

Yes I found that out, but what I do not understand, is that you can upload it into WIndows Media Player, you are officially checking it out of the library website with the license and still nothing. I understand, but I don't understand, doyou know what I mean.....why just windows and not mac?!

As per your suggestion, I checked the firmware version of IP phones and i found that some IP phones which are showing correct timing having firmware version

I believe it is international.
Each product has a different AppleCare Agreement and different conditions.
For the iPhone there are online several AppleCare manuals in different languages. May be they are just translations but may be each different language/country give different rules.
Anyway if you buy in a country and register Applecare in that country you recive your actual Manual and rules to follow. If you need assistence you can call your serivce number or start the request online. Apple will decide according to the problem and your location how to procede: you may go to a service center, or send the item to the adress Apple will provide to you, or Apple can send you parts to repair it yourselve.
This should not be limited to a country.

I need assistence in the following.
Given two PCs, Server and Client. The server has an XP, Oracle 9iDB, 9iDS and 10gAS Forms and Reports Services configured perfectly well. The client--XP--has no Oracle components at all. But it has a locally attached printer.
Question one: What do I have to install on the client from Oracle to be able to call my application on the server via an URL?
Quenstion two: Where do I have to install Webutil Production in order to print locally?
Question three: Is there any difference if the two PCs are connected via a network cable OR not connected at all, but both are in the Web and the client tries to access my application via an URL?

Stated as follows: Is there any difference between (i) the Server and Client PC is connected over a twisted cable and (ii) both are already in the web (via their own provider, with NO CABLE CONNECTION) and a Client launches an URL like http://<server_name>:<port_number>/forms90/f90servlet?config=<myapp>
It is important because the application should run on a single PC, on several PCs in the same room, cable-connected, and over the web.

If it's the sim card thats blocked then you need to contact the network.
If it's the phones security code thats blocked then you need to visit a nokia care point/service centre. You will need to take proof of purchase to ensure that you are it's rightful owner.

Need help & advice RE transferring from a hard drive to a new imac.

Hello, firstly I apologize if I am setting up this question in the incorrect location, I am technology illiterate even as far as forums. Recently my 2007 Imac stopped working, repair people removed the hard drive (I believe) from it for me as it was too expensive to fix the machine. My big worry now is hopefully files from my old computer can be transferred to a new Imac? Also if so, is it something I can be walked through, as there aren't really a lot of reliable tech repair businesses in my local area? Is there also anything I should be mindful of when purchasing a new computer? My old system was 20"Mac, 2.0GHz, 1GB, 250GB capacity, I am assuming as long as my new system has better specs a transfer would work, but I really have no clue? Is there any special equipment I would have to buy, should I be aiming to get a new computer with certain specs? (get a system with 320 GB capacity, as opposed to 250GB for example) Sorry for all the questions, more so if they should be obvious, any help much appreciated!

Please bare with me so I can see if I have this right. Migration Assistent is an application or feature on the Imac I will be getting (will be a newer model than the one I posted above) - my newer computer would be considered the host and my older computer the target? Here is a bit I get a bit unsure. When the last repairmen gave me back my computer, they gave it back with the hard drive seperated - is that a factor or something worth mentioning? I am assuming that I need a wire of some sort or can a transfer be done wirelessly? I have tried figuring all this out and seen firewire cables mentioned a bit, but err I can't even find any sockets on the hard drive given to me by the repairmen whick makes me wonder if I am even looking for the right kind of info. In need of a basics mentor

Hello, I am doing a senior project for my high school. My project will include a Java program which I will write. I will be needing a long term mentor, for possibly a very long time (up to a year). I know this seems like an amazing commitment but I will only be asking the easiest of questions, if I ask any at all, I do have a basic knowledge of Java. We will need to communicate via E-mail or online chat, preferably E-mail. My coordinator wishes that my mentor has either been certified or has a degree in Java programming.
Please consider this, the project is a requirement for my graduation.
