Need BAPI or Function Module to update MAEX Table

Hi Experts !!
I need to update the MAEX table in mass level through a batch job.
Updating the table directly is not recommended. So, a BAPI or a FM would have helped.
One more thing, if I update it through a BAPI or FM, will the change history log in MM02 or MM03 be maintained automatically by SAP ?
Also if I directly update the MAEX table, how to maintain the change history log ?
Below are the fields which I want to update.

Those FM are update FM (check with SE37) called at end of transaction after checking data validity and must not be called alone in a customer program, using those FM is not better than direct SQL update of database (or you actually want to duplicate SAP standard checking and find every update FM to call, wrong idea usually)

Need Help with Function Module or BAPI for Stock Requirements & PIRs

Hello,
         I am working on making changes to a Report which should be displaying the PIR (Planned Independant Requirements) Quantities as well as Stock Requirements for SOs & STOs for below Type of Materials for the Given Date.
1. Planning Materials
2. Planned SKUs (that is Materials which do not have a Planning Material attached to them).
        In the Current Logic, we are using an FM REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION which fetches the Requirements only for the Planning Materials. It does not work for Planned SKUs.
So, is there any Function Module / BAPI which serves this Purpose for both types of Materisls?
   Also, I've managed to Find out two Function Modules which I thought might be useful but still need confirmation regarding the same.
MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API and
BAPI_MATERIAL_MRP_LIST
        Please suggest any other FM if available for this Requirement.

Basically, here is what my scenario is. I have two Types of Materials which have a Planning Material attached to it. and the Other Category is that it doesn't have a Planning Material attached to it. So, we call it a Planned SKU. That is a Material planned at the SKU level.
          Now, the Issue is , the Function Module REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION doesn't work for the Plannd SKUs but it only works for the Planning Material. Now, based on this Function Module, we are populating the Data for the Planning Materials of Material Type ZPLN. Similarly, is there any we can make this FM work for a Material which is planning at its own Level.
          Please help me in this Regard.

The Function Module, what you are given is BTE. it will not trigger when creating of contract.
My Requirement is when creating the contract for the particular BP, we need to UPDATE the Alternative Payer of Customer.
Here i required BAPI or Function Module to change or Update the customer master Alternative Payer (KNZA).

BAPI or Function module to park FI Invoice

Hi All,
I have been trying hard to find a Function Module or a BAPI to park a vendor Invoice. Do rememeber that I am using the transaction FV60 for this purpose and not MIRO. For MIRO you have the BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE. But for the FI vendor invoice I am finding hard to find a function module. I have as of now using a BDC but the customer needs to upload 500 invoices and it is very slow. The reason why I need a banckground process is because there is a report in conjunction with the upload program which actually gives the status of all the Invoices and to whom it has been assigned to for processing.
I have a workflow running behind this and report is about the workflow.
I would appreciate if somebody could help me out here

Standard BAPI or Function Module for FB01posting

Hi Experts,
My requirement is as follows.
Invoice details would be sent across from Middleware to SAP and for which I have developed a Custom Remote Enabled Function Module. The Function Module needs to post the data using FB01 Transaction.
I had planned for recording a BDC for FB01 and post the data, however, we are on the verge of getting upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. To avoid problems that we might face for change of screens in ECC 6.0, I would prefer using a BAPI or Function Module for FB01 posting, if available, instead of BDC.
Data coming from Middleware are as follows.
HEADER:
BKPF-BLDAT : Document Date
BKPF-BUDAT : Posting Date
BKPF-XBLNR: Reference (Invoice#)
BKPF-BLART : Document Type
BKPF-BUKRS : Company Code
BKPF-BKTXT : DocHeader Text

You can use RFBIBL00 program for FB01 postings. Go through the program help on how to use this program.
This program requires a file to be on application server in a certain format.
You may also refer the program RFBIBLT0 on how the file format should be.

BAPI or Function Module for F-22

Hi I am working on one scenario. I am clearing the document using F-30 transaction in one company code and Posting the same document in other company code using F-22. I need to know whether it posts successfully or not using F-22 before I clear the document so that I can stop this from clearing. I can not do this simply using the BDC. Here I need a BAPI or function module to have a check whether it will post successfully or not using F-22 before I clear the document using F-30.
Please help me to find the right BAPI or Function Module here.

BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST works only for 2 line postings. But we can make it work for one line by implementing BTERWBAPI01.

ACCIT-ZUMSK = Z
could you please share the code that you have implemented in BTE?

Difference between bapi and function module

Can you guys tell me what are the differences in calling bapis and function modules?
I see we are calling both as the same way we call function modules. May be for bapis, we need to be careful in declaring and passing those exact structures. Can you please make it clear reg. the differences between them?

I tried to use the FM Vendor_Update... It updates the adrress field in the table LFA1. But it is not reflected in the transaction FK02.
So, Is there any thing that I have to do after the FM Vendor_Update is called so that the address field is also get reflected in address field of FK02 transaction.?

There is no FM / BAPI to update directly to any SAP tables . SAP won't suggests to develop a FM/BAPI like that , as it will cause some data inconsistency problem .
We have to search and find BAPI's/ FM's for requirement specific if not exists then need to think about the alternate options (LSMW/ BDC etc..)

I don't know if any FM exists for your requirement. But you may like to copy it into a custom table and modify it according to your enterprise needs.

Bapi or function module to create conter readings in service order

hi all,
i have used crm_service_order_create to create the service order it was very helpful . I could also create the service order with the i base component. But i need to enter the counter readings against the i base component. Is there any bapi ot function module which takes the counter id ex 1516 and saves the data in the service order. Reply at the earliest would be of great help.

sory for the late respond, got a lot works to be done.
based on my experience, you need several more information such as currency, uom for quantity, sales organization, etc.
and honestly, i have never tried to create an order by just using 3 information ( sold to party, item, and quantity ),
but i think it is possible because some of the information can be determined using configuration, but still some information is missing and the order that you create will have an error and you can't do next process of the order unless somebody fix / fill the information needed.
just an idea, perhaps you need some z-tables to put your certain information needed for order creation and the information is maintained for each sold to party ( sold to party is a key of z-tables ) and each time order is created, all information will be query in this tables.
and for this tables may be you can create an offline maintainance scenario using an adobe document. by this way, the sold to party can maintained all his/her/their information by them self.
and by using this scenario, you can still maintain / create the order by programming ( perhaps using function module CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN or else ).
actually i want to implement in my company but don't have a chance becuase all has been set up and the management will think twice for implementing this scenario.
