Need by Date Planned Order

Hi All,
A simple question.
For the purchased items, I am reviewing planned orders.
I see following dates -
Sugg Due Date - Date the Purchased Item will be consumed by the FG work orders - ASCP Calculated from the demand
Sugg Dock Date - date on which Items will be received in the plant  = Sugg Due Date - Post Processing LT
Sugg Order Date - Date on which we should place order with supplier = Sugg Dock Date - Processing LT
Sugg Start Date - Date on which we should start preparing order = Sugg Order Date - Pre Processing LT
There is another date 'Need By Date' suggested for these planned orders. What is this date? How is this calculated?
Appreciate response on this.

Hello..
MRP can generated need by date PR base on what day lead time do you set.
there have 3 kind of lead time type,
1. Pre processing lead time
2. Processing lead time
3. post processing lead time
if you set up all of that leadtime, you will find "suggested dock date" in MRP workbench.
need by date PR is take from suggested dock date in MRP workbench.
and add info, suggested dock date can generated if you set processing leadtime.
hope this help and CMIAW

  • Don't WANT/NEED a data plan

I am due for an upgrade to my phone and I'd like something with a bigger screen (51 year old eyes). I like the Droid (my son has one), but I literally have NO need for a data plan. Voice and text serves my needs, I have a computer at home and I just don't NEED a data plan.
We've been with Verizon for about 5 years now and up until this point, have loved the service, quality, etc. We've been quite happy with the customer service, they have worked with us when we needed it and now? I am getting absolutely nothing for being a 'valued' customer. I'm not asking for a free data plan, I just want the choice of whether or not to get one when I get a new phone. I like the size of the phone itself. My current phone is web capable and in 2+ years that I have had it, I have used the web twice...for weather. That's it. I am beginning to resent being told that I have to do something in order to get a phone that fits my needs. It takes forever to find a new phone for my husband as he wants a phone. Camera is fun to have, but he does NOT text (he barely will email).
Is it really too much to as for my wireless company to give me what I want/need and stop demanding that I do what they want? Before I upgrade, I'll be doing research on a new company.
    Unhappy.

so dont blame verizon, blame the users
If that were the case, the data plan would have been required on ANY phone which has the capability of incurring a pay-as-you-go data charge, which, for the record, is any phone in Verizon's line-up for the past couple years as far as I can recall, from the basic Motorola W385 all the way up to today's fanciest feature phone, the Kins.
When Verizon made the decision to pair their most popular feature-type phones (then called 3GMM) with their least popular (but probably most profitable) small data package, they were making a decision designed to provide them with an increased stream of steady revenue for very little effort with no capital investment.
Verizon has (and did have then) the tools to fix the problem of accidental data charges without increasing customer costs.  They could have required customers to "opt-in" to the paygo data plan, or only given refunds for the first complaint IF the customer chose a data package or a full data block.
Instead, they chose the easiest path to the highest revenue.  You shouldn't blame the customers for a company's decision to maximize their profits.

  • Do I need a data plan for my IPod Touch to use FaceTime?

I have FaceTime on my IPod BUT don't know if I need a data plan to run it. My uncle says I do and I'm not sure. HELP.

Well, it isn't even possible to have a data plan for the iPod Touch. You can just use wifi to use FaceTime.

  • Cannot activate facetime - says I need eligible data plan - called AT&T and they confirmed I had an eligible plan and said I needed to contact Apple

Cannot activate facetime - says I need eligible data plan - called AT&T and they confirmed I had an eligible plan and said I needed to contact Apple

I have AT&T also just called them yes to use Facetime on there network you need the mobile share program but if you have wifi in your home like I do and I am always on my wifi 95% the facetime will work on Wifi I am thinking of doing this in Feb because I will have 3 iphone devices on the acct and the price that I quoted will be about 20.00 less then I estamated I would be paying for 3 iphones if I keep the plan I have now and add another separate internet on the 3rd iphone it will be close to 200.00

  • Does the iPhone 4s need a data plan inorder for "siri" to work or can you just use your local wifi?

Does the iPhone 4s need a data plan inorder for "siri" to work or can you just use your local wifi?

It can use both in all the commercials they are using wifi im trying to find out just how much Siri depends on data but so far I think it mainly uses it to pull info up and for some reason to dictate email but it does work on carrier data I guess it's just slower  so you don't neccersarily need a data plan in place or have to dig into it to use Siri If you have wifi close by

  • I don't need a data plan or internet plan for using airport ?

I understand that all the airport's do not need an internet plan, is just connect to a AC adapter and you have free wi-fi or not?

Sorry, but your understanding is not correct.
If you want the AirPort to have Internet capability, you will need to provide a broadband Ethernet Internet connection from a service provider to the AirPort.

  • List 3rd party Wi-Fi apps that don't need ANY data plan

so far, the only one I know of is Live Search
    you can download it here
(note: in Options, network configuration parameters must be changed to "Direct HTTP" instead of "default" and check "Use only WiFi interface")
I can't use BlackBerry's "Maps", because I don't have a data plan;  however, the "Traffic" & "Maps" of Live Search is a great alternative!
if you know of other 3rd party Wi-Fi apps that don't require ANY data plan (APN, BES, MDS, IPPP for BIBS, WAP, etc.), post them here.
    thanks!

  • Desired date in planned orders

    Hi all!
I used heuristics SAP_PP_002 for creation planned order (AI) from sales order (BM).
APO show message Order &1 with source &2 created late on &3; desired date &4
That I need to do, that desired date planned order (AI) - Requested Delivery date  it was identical with Requested Delivery date sales order (BM)?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    It works with following logic
    1. Net requirement calculation to calculate  uncovered requirement
    2. Procurement quantity calculation (Lot formation)
    3. Source determination (PDS/PPM/TLANE determination)
4.Then Scheduling of order with backward+reverse scheduling strategy. Here system will first set desired date as finish data and according to duration of activities from PPM or PDS tries to find out start date. If start date goes into past  system will reverse the direction to forward and set start date as todays date and calculats finish date according to activity times in PDS/PPM.

  • Data plan!  why???  whats the difference of me using Wifi or being charged for a data plan?

Feature phones iterally suck, even the internet pro reviews on the phones are very low and most of the feature phones that are  reviewed  the reviewer gives  their  last comment as "don't buy" .
I do not need a data plan, ( I carry either a Verizon netbook or a notebook for all my internet needs) nor am I comfortable with the charge of a data plan being necessary or is this simply another way for a large company with a large profit margin to stick it to the consumer knowing we have to maintain a cell phone in this day and age?.
I had settled on the KinTwo, the reviews are not glowing but .... r not that horrible either.  It is also the only phone which gives the owner WiFi accessibility.  (which makes me wonder if this is the reason Verizon has pulled it off the market).  From my extensive research the KinTwo is the only feature phone choice.  But..... When I went back to the site to order it was gone, and the VW stores do not carry it.
UGH>  I am so discouraged by the data plans and the extremely high price.  Would someone please tell me what the difference is in my using my Netbook, laptop (notebook) on WiFi and not being charged a data fee?  Or why I can bring Wireless Internet into my home and have all my WiFi accessible electronics connect through my main ISP with an additional fee for each WiFi user????   But I am not able to use a Smartphone this way???
I am serious about these data plans  are they necessary????

once upon a time verizon did not require data plans
    many users were happy
but t h is did not last for users started having problems with thier hands
they would often hit the wrong buttons and use data
sometims as little as a mb, sometimes many mb
verizon forums and customer service started recieving phone calls to get credits for this usage
after all its not the users fault is it? i mean are they responsible if they had the phone to a 2 year old to play with and the kid brings up the browser?
so verizon decided it was in its best interest to protect its users.  they started requireing data plans so you wouldnt get hit with huge bills for being an idiot.
So if you wanna cry about data plans blame all those people out there that complained

  • Do I have to buy a data plan? please read desc.

I would like to purchase a iphone 4 (maybe 5) but i would ONLY like to continue with my plan with talk and text. I would NOT like to purchase a data plan for this phone.
I would like the phone for its other uses including apps and music and such. But NOT the web features unless i use wifi. I do not want to pay for a data plan if im not going to even use it...
Is there a "pay as you go" plan for the iphone so i only have to pay the 30 bucks IF I use the web and or download something via web outside of wifi capabilities?

AT&T will most definitely require a data plan for an iPhone used on its network.
For T-Mobile you wouldn't have to have a data plan, since you would be bringing your own phone.  T-Mobile does not have an iPhone for its network.  If they do get one in the near future, you would have to buy the phone full price in order to not have the data plan.
I am pretty sure I heard somewhere that AT&T offered smartphones without data plans, I have heard many complaints about Verizon not selling smartphones without a data plan, and I am pretty sure they said something like that they were able to do so on AT&T/T-Mobile, so why not Verizon?
I don't see T-Mobile getting the iPhone, and if they do, it will still technically be the AT&T iPhone, AT&T bought out T-Mobile (US) from Deutsche Telekom in Germany, so AT&T technically owns (or will own) T-Mobile, I am not sure if AT&T plans on keeping the T-Mobile name though
Nope, AT&T requires a data plan of atleast $15 a month for all smartphones.

Just like Verizon's site, if you read the fine print under each smartphone picture, it says this.
T-Mobile also requires a data plan for smartphones.
    http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/
I didn't know about that, though that only seems to apply if you buy the phone at the 2yr contract price, therefore if you buy the phone at retail price, or bring in an unlocked phone, a SIM without a data plan could be used in a smartphone and the smartphone should work without a data plan
With Verizon on the other hand, being a CDMA network and no CDMA phone can be "unlocked" and doesn't use SIM cards, even if someone did bring in their own CDMA smartphone (flashed for Verizon of course) or bought their smartphone at retail price, they would still need a data plan, wouldn't they?

64: Production finish after order finish                                                                  (P4)
    Message no. MD427
    Diagnosis
The production finish date calculated using the routing lies after the order finish date that was calculated using the in-house processing time in the material master record.
As the system uses the order finish date in the planning run, this situation may lead to material shortages if production is not finished until the production finish date calculated by the system.
    System Response
This exception is displayed in the MRP list and in the current stock/requirements list.
    Procedure
Check the times in the material master record and in the routing.
Check whether the order has to be rescheduled in.

  • Modeling dummy product and planned orders

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have requirement where i need to model particular business requirements on subcontracting and the same is resulting in need of modeling of dummy product and dummy planned orders. Please share your inputs on what would be impact of dummy product and dummy planned orders in ECC. and also how to make sure that it does cause any issues in costing.
I am modeling subcontracting requirement and i need to create following master data.
All the below products are at plant P.
P has the components as Q_D
Q_D has the components as Q
Q has the components as R
Where Q_D is the dummy product produced at plant P.
P and Q are subcontracted items to the vendor V.
P is the finished good, Q and Q_D are Semi finished goods, R is raw material.
When we plan we are creating Purchase orders for P and Q. And Q_D is made inhouse and we need to create planned order for it. how do we handle the planned orders created for Q_D. we dont want them to convert to production orders. we want a way to clear off these dummy planned orders once we close the POs of P and Q.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Jagadeesh

    Hi senthil,
Check if the forecast date is beyond PPDS horizon.
Also in product master on PPDS tab, you should maintain 4 in PP Planning procedure.
    Bye.

  • BAPI for AFS  Planned Order Change

    Dear All,
Can anybody help me out to find the BAPI for PLANNED ORDER
CHANGE in AFS. i m aware that there is a BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE for standard SAP, but im not sure of using for the AFS , since the grid value is not handled in this BAPI.Pls give your suggestion too.
    Reward points are assured.

    Hi Raja ,
Sorry for replying too late ..... But I guess it may be useful for other guys..
Recently I also came accross same problem . But finally I got the solution.
BAPI  'BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE'  does support AFS Data .. like Grid Value and Grid Quanity.
Just pass AFS Header Data to Import Parameter AFS_HEADER  & AFS Grid Value along with changed quantity
to AFS_SKU table.  You will get this data from PLAF and J_3ABSSI Table.
( Note : You also need to pass Planned Order Data & Quantity which will be total of all quantities at SKU level. )
    Regards ,
    Vishal Bhalsing.

  • Data plan

In order to use the Drois phone, do i need a data plan to use it, or can I just have voice and text messaging?

LesRon, I see you're interested in upgrading to a smartphone device.  Great choice!  All Droids (smartphone) require a data plan when activating to a Verizon Wireless account.  What plan are you currently on?  If you're activating to an existing line or adding a line to an existing single or family share, you can opt to select one of our tiered data packages (starting at $30 / 2 GB's).  If you're looking to activate brand new service, you will need to select one of our new Share Everything plans http://bit.ly/T8w8iL.  Thanks, and enjoy your new Droid device!

  • Simulation of Planned order

    Hi,
My requirement is to capture the Longest Lead Time of the first level BOM. For this I need to simulate Planned Order using the current date.
Is there any function module or BAPI that can be used to simulate the planned order as above.
NOTE : The planned order should not be created but only simulated.
    Thanks N Rgds,
      Indu.

    Hi Mohammed,
    Thank you for your reply.
    My requirement is :
During sales order ATP for MTO products, the system needs to check the components for the BOM for the longest lead time. The result will be the first possible material available date in SAP.  Once this date has been calculated,
the system needs to look for the most appropriate PIR to consume, respecting the lead time calculated in the first step.
So, Mostly i need to handle this in some user-exit during the sales order creation. So I am asking for a BAPI.
    Rgds Indu.
