Does storage systems need certification for SAP?

Hi,
Does storage systems like IBM XIV, EMC DMX and NetAPP need certification for SAP?
If the server/os and database are all certified and does the storage used bu the server to host the data needs certification?

Differences I found were :

On the 2nd link - Extraction from CO-PA is not mentioned in the syallbus ..
please guide me with this .. My exam is nearing and i am getting confused now because of this..

Element plan that needs Certification

HRMS ver 12.1
When a severance related payment gets processed in Human Resources Self Service it could be the case that this payments requires Certification. I.e. someone has to log in with the PUI, has to query for this Plan/Payment with the Miscellaneous Plans form and check flag “Certification Required Alert”. Only then the payment becomes active.
Are there any ways to find out what elements are set up like that?

In such case I have used infocube 0WBS_C11 and loaded Plan data from 0CO_OM_WBS_1 by restricting the upload for Value Type = 20 in infopackage and Actual data from 0CO_OM_WBS_6 .

PI Certification TechEd 2009

Hello,
This would be my first visit to SAP TechEd and I am aspiring to apply for the PI Certification.
Kindly guide me as to whether the ILT pre-requisite courses of TBIT40 & 44 are mandatory to attend in order to register for the certification. What would be the distribution of marks for the Associate Developer kind of certification for PI?
Also, I would like to confirm if there is any negative marking system for these certifications.

Actually I want to go for SAP FI certification. I heard that if I have 2+ years of experience in SAP, then can I go for the certification or not. I have another doubt that I dont know how to go for certification with experience. Could any one please give me guidelines to do this and is it mandatory to have SAP Market Place IDs to pursue certification or not.
If you have two years of experience, you can write the certification. For further details, you please contact your local SAP Education Team. SAP Market place is not required, once you make the payment for SAP Certification, SAP itself will create you an Service Market Place (OSS) ID.
Marks are 70%. 3 Hours - 80 Questions - No Negative marking.
At least you need to read the specified books not less than 5 times religiously before going to exam.
You should have good understanding of basic fundamentals of FI.
Fee may be INR 25000 plus applicable service tax

Certification required for HANA SPS Upgrades?

I was just asked by the Hardware vendor what type of certification we need, to perform the HANA Support Pack Upgrade to stay in compliance for warranty.
Am I correct in assuming thatthe HA200 - HANA Installation and Operations certification is what they're speaking about or is there something else required?

To be honest, I never thought about certification requirement for HANA updates. I'd be surprised that you need certification for that.
