Need Check Printed on Bottom of Page

Have to print out checks on the bottom of the page.
Does anyone know how to fix the check in the .rtf so it'll always print on the bottom?

You will need to limit the number of rows to be rendered above. check out the Anatomy of a Template entries on the BIP blog

Print at Bottom of Page option causing extra page at end of report

I'm using the option 'Print at Bottom of Page" in Section Expert for some invoices I'm creating. For some reason it's causing me to have an extra page at the end of the report. If I unselect this option, the extra page goes away. I need to be able to have this group footer print at the bottom at the page but not have the extra at the end of the report. This is the first time I've used this option so maybe I've missed something. All other sections after the group footer I want printed are suppressed. Any ideas?

I guess I didn't have the report footer suppress, I just had it minimized in size. I suppressed it and it seems to be fine.

Hi all.
There a form which has ANY page format in its basic settings.
But I need to print this form in DINA4 page format manually.
When print the form I am getting a spool. Let me know whether I can change thus to DINA4 format and print the same in DINA4 format on printer?
Please provide inputs.

Hi,
You can change it but you have to check the windows whiche are defined in that page can fit in the Diana4 if it does not fit you have to adjust the windows size to fit into your required page format.

Check Printing on two Different pages

Hi all,
Is it possible to print one page PLD on two Different pages. Actually my client wants to print one PLD on two different pages, he wants that one page print the acknowledgement letter and then vendor name, amount, date, amounts in words should be printed on the checks.

Check Printing PLD is hard coded in the system. I don't think you have any easy solutions for this. If you tried already, you must know it already.

Does anyone know of a simple check printing software I can use on my Mac? I don't need accounting software, just a way to print checks on my Mac.

CR2008 - Page footers - Print at Bottom of page option disabled !

I need page footers to be printed at the bottom of the page but the option is greyed out - disabled.
I have my report set at A4 in CR but if it does not fit a page it reduces the size and prints the page footers up the page. I have checked that I do not have 'Suppress Blank Section' selected in the page footer.
Any clues please ? I have tried all sorts so much so that I am now 'brain dead' and possibly missed something obvious.

What happens if you export to PDF, for example?
The option is grayed out because Page Footers always print on the bottom of the page! (It sounds to me that something is squishing the page image, since you stated that things are printed smaller, and it's just that page sizing that is causing the footer to be higher on the page than desired. Or am I misunderstanding what you stated??)

Preview Prints at Bottom of Page

Hello:
I'm having an issue with the Preview app printing image files, such as png screen grabs, at the bottom of the page. I can use the Center Image check box to bring it up to the middle, but not the top of the page where I'd like it to be.

Two suggestions:
1. Rotate the image 180° before printing.
2. Choose 2 images per page.
Both of these have their drawbacks, but they might work for your purpose.

Grab files print at Bottom of Page

I don't remember Grab>Capture>Selection printing at the bottom of a page before. Any way to change it to print at the top of the page.

Need guidance printing 4 photos - 1 page

I am asking this on behalf of my wife, using iPhoto 6 on her 17" iMac. I have never attempted this, but then I have iPhoto 5 on my Mac.
How do I print 4 photos on one 8X10?? I have brought four photos together in the iPhoto window, but I can't get Print to do more than one on the page. From reading other posts here, I found out about the Print Dialogue and the need to change a drop down, but I'll be damned if I can find that. Any body care to help with this? Thank you.

I have a Canon iP6700 printer. This is how I do it:
In Page Setup, select the paper size as A4.
Then, in iPhoto, choose the four photos and hit 'print.'
The 'Print' options are:
Printer
Presets
Paper
Style
So, I select my Printer, my Preset is 'photo on photo paper',
Paper I choose again A4 and
Style, I use N-Up.
Then, below those choices, a dropdown appears to select how many photos per page.
I set it to 4, and I can see in the small preview on the left, that all four photos will be on the one page.
See if you can set yours up something like mine.....it works!

Need to print mailer info always on even numbered page

Good morning,I'm currently using Crystal Reports 8.5 (I thought I was on 9.0) and am trying to get a report to always print the mailing information on an even numbered page.Here is the deal. The report for the most part will be 2 pages, the first containing the details and some summary information and the second containing the mailing information. The customer that is using the report prints it out on special paper, so that the mailing information needs to print on even numbered pages.The report is set up with several groups, one being on the person's address, which is where I have put the mailing information. I also added the mailing information to one of the details sections (one that is before where the actual details print) and is suppressed using the following formula: PageNumber Mod 2 <> 0. I have also added a formula to the New Page After: PageNumber Mod 2 = 0. This seems to always work when the report goes to page 2 while printing out the details. My problem now, which would be the case most of the time when this situation occurs, is when the report goes to page 2 while printing any of the 3 group footers that have summary information in them. I tried using the same logic as with the details and it is hit and miss on whether or not it will work. I have added the mailer information in a footer section above the footer and added the same suppression and new page after logic and sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. When it doesn't work, the mailer does not print and the group footer prints on page 2.Does any one have any ideas?Thanks in advance,Lauren ETA: I have tried to debug it and this is what I found. When I take off the suppression formula so that the mailer always prints and add a pagenumber field to the group footer it displays 2.

You could try adding
WhilePrintingRecords;
in front of the PageNumber Mod 2 .... Statements
This may not work in 8.5, but it is worth a shot.
If that doesn't work, you may need to consider a subreport.

How to print headings in every page of smartforms.

How do I print only the first page of multiple PDF documents?

I have about 1,500 PDF files (scientific papers) that I need to print only the first page of... Any suggestions on how to do this as a single job or as a few jobs? The files are organized in a bunch of different folders, so if there was some way to do this folder by folder, that would be ok too. Thanks!

Make sure that in System Preferences Printing & Fax pane you set the default printer to the one you want to use, then put all of these PDF files into their own folder, then open terminal and type the following (without hitting return afterward):
lpr -o page-ranges="1-1"
Then drag one of the PDF files into the terminal window (it will add it's path to the end of your command) and replace the file name with *.pdf, so it will look like this:
lpr -o page-ranges="1-1" /Users/todd/Documents/My\ Folder/*.pdf
Then hit return.

Check printing problem in Tcode F110...Urgent

I am getting problem in check printing.
While I am running the Tcode F-58 I am getting check printing exactly in one page.But the problem here is when I am printing the check using Tcode F110 its giving print in 3 or 4 pages.The last page is getting the correct Invoice entry ,but the first three pages are getting prints like VOID**VOID*.
How to delete the first three unwanted pages which contains VOID.
Please let me know abt this issue.

Well, as it's so urgent.....
This is standard functionality, designed to make sure the cheque paper is correctly linded up in the printer. The number of pages is set in the selection screen of the print program in field 'Number of sample printouts'. Set this to 0 to stop the pages appearing.

AP Check Printing : Position the check at the page's bottom

Hi all,
I'm struggling to build an RTF template for AP check printing.
I have tried Tim's solution and Darshan's approach and can control the number of invoices per page to successfully handle the overflow checks.
The trouble resides on controlling the position of the check which should be printed at the absolute bottom of each page (VOIDED or NOT VOIDED)
Depending on the number of the invoices per page, the table which holds the invoices pushes down (or pulls up) the check along with the MICR value.
Since XMLP check printing is quite common requirement, there might be a successful format out there.
Will appreciate any advise for this issue.

Following your advise, the check is now displayed at the absolute bottom of the page, regardless of the number of invoices per page. I did use your second method, controlling the height of the invoice data row with the same dimension as the filler and the recursive template.
I'm facing another challenge which looks more of a standard AP functionality: For overflow check, i should display the associated voided check on page 1 through page n, then the $amount check on the last page.
i.e

Payment info
invoice 1
invoice 2
invoice 3
Check detail
***void***
Page 2
Payment info
invoice 4
invoice 5
invoice 6
Check detail
***void***
Page 3
Payment info
invoice 7
invoice 8
invoice 9

My actual layout only displays 1 check after listing all invoices. Any advise is really appreciated.
