Need direction on how to make motion graphics -AF CS5

I didn’t know how to word the header for my question so I’ll try to clarify it here. I’m new to AF so please bear with me. In the Adobe tutorial at the link below, he animates a flower. The flower is in front of a colored background and there are some added text that animate as well. I understand about layers but my question is, can I make a graphic like the one in the tutorial in Photoshop CS5 and import it into AF? I just ordered a copy of PS CS5 and have not gotten a chance to work with PS. When I searched the net about my question, I found many links describing how to make web graphics. Would I be making the same thing and saving them not as a web graphic? If I can make something similar to the flower in the tutorial, then I can go from there. I guess what is confusing for me is that the background and flower assets are mp4 (mpeg) video. LibreOffice is free to use, by tens of millions in fact, didn't need to buy Office unless she is at a job that demands sharing of complicated files.
If you want save money I would take it back, Office justs come out with another and another remake which one has to keep paying over and over again.
Office type software has been donation supported for a long time now.
And it's dead easy to install, just click the link and install the package. Does everything Office does, even reads and writes to Office format.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
A folder window will open. Inside it there should be files with names as follows:
          Envelope Index
          ExternalUpdates.storedata
Move those files to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have longer names that begin as above. Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is damaged and that Mail has to quit. Click OK. Typically, the process takes a few minutes, but it may take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In that case, you may be able to speed things up by temporarily adding your home folder to the Privacy list in the Spotlight preference pane. Remove it when Mail has finished importing.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

you should start with something little, first try do make a rectangle on screen, then try to make it move.
if you're past that, then you're allmost there.
of course, eventually during making a game like runescape you would need lot's of knowledge about data structures and matm and physics and whatever is also needed in order to cread 3D universe.
but with little practice you get to be master.

How to view motion graphics from websites on iphone 4 ?

Hello, can anyone provide information as to viewing motion graphics from websites on iphone4 ? -- when I view a website; I can see still pictures, words, numbers, colors ,etc... EXCEPT for the motion graphics. The motion graphics does not show-up at all from the websites on the iphone4. The websites that I am having prolems viewing are the ones that are animated (cartoon-ish) in motion.
Example: I can see an animated still picture of a man driving a car, but; I cannot see the animated motion graphics of the man actually turning the steering wheel, moving his head while looking in different directions while driving, the car wheels turning, etc... on the same website being viewed - the animated motion graphics will not show-up at all on the iphone4.
I would like to know if there is a mobile app from the apple archive, or any type of mobile software to install to be able to view the motion graphics and, if so; I would appreciate any feedback pertaining to this matter.

I actually purchased GoodReader because it is easy to transfer files without iTunes. I dislike the file sharing through iTunes. You can use a Mac or PC. Once I was in the app I clicked the "Wi-Fi" symbol which brings me to "WiFi-transfer." It will show this --

All you have to do is type one of those addresses into your browser. (Safari, etc.)
It will take you to a page that has iPhone Connection and a list of options. You can either create a new directory within the application or use an existing one to upload a text file. It's rather simple, you just select "Choose a file to upload" > Select your file > Press upload > Start the app and see your text/pdf/whatever file.
You can also connect to a server to download a text file, browse the web, or enter a url. I see it also has an ICloud folder which I'm not sure if it integrates with Apple's iCloud or not, I think it does. I'm not affliated with the app and I'm not saying you have to buy it, I'm just a happy user.
If you don't want to buy this app let me know I'll keep looking for a free or cheaper one for you if you want.

I have this really anoying headphones jack problem on my Muvo TX.
the player's still under waranty but I li've far from the place where I bought it so there's no way for me to send it back.
anyway, what i need from you guys is directions on how to open the muvo tx so I can fix this bad piece of electronics myself.
I found that thread on the forum in which people fixed this by puting a piece of paper around the connector, but that doesnt work for me.
to be honest, this is the first and the last mp3 player i buy from creative, this kind of problem in the year 2005 is unacceptable, walkmans in 975 didnt have this issue.

ive made a website for a security company but im just not 100% happy with it, i dont know if it doesnt look professional enough or things need changing design wise. i am open to any ideas on how to make my website look better, i also dont mind if anyone wants to dramtically change it if their idea is better. As a novice, some things I see: The footer has redundant, unecessary images (4 large images-for your services--REDUNDANT) odd? The text part of footer: text seems close, scrunched, have some space between heading and items, DO NOT CENTER TEXT!,
One of the service links bought to page with SAME LARGE image on homepage-change picture, don't use same large image for 2 different pages.
DO NOT use CONTACT US as 1 of 5 links on menubar. Do in another creative way, and/or use footer for contact. I think this looks amateurish (my opinion of course).
If I remember, the homepage and the rest of site, have exact same page structure.--See if you can atleast change the structure of inner pages versus the homepage.

each of your services should be a main menu link on your menubar. I would not put contact us on menubar, and you also had another menubar link with no dropdown( of course ok, but maybe could restructure)--Also your last service (on right of menubar)---why is that one different, and not included with the other services??
Seems like your menubar (items) structure could be reworked.--I would suggest, briefly looking at, to maybe have each service as a primary menu heading/title..YOU MAY NOT NEED A DROPDOWN MENU? Make sure if dropdown it is necessary.

Can't figure out how to make a graphic expand in an animated gif (CS4)

I'm trying to make an animated gif where two of my graphics expand to the outer edges of the picture. However all that I can manage to accomplish is to have the opacity fade in or out. Is it possible to make a graphic expand in CS4?

How to make a graphic rotate using FCP7

I am trying to apply a basic transition/effect to a graphic on my project within FCP7. I want to make an icon rotate like this: http://www.ita.doc.gov/hrm/awards/images/bronze.gif but without the "shine", just a simple rotation on itself.
Is this possible from within FCP7? If so, how do I do it?

I have made some slight changes to the code of Basic 3D and I have here for you and everyone who needs it a version called Basic3D plus.
It comes with a checkbox that allows you to animate automatically the Y rotation (no need to keyframe anything), then you can decide the speed by changing (increasing/decreasing) the Y axis Angle values. The higher the faster, the lower the slower.
Uncheck the box and the Y axis angle will work as normal again.
I tested it quickly and it should work for you all too.

After downloading the plug-in drag it to Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support / Final Cut Pro System Support / Plugins folder. Finally restart Final Cut Pro and the Basic3D plus should show up in the effects menu > Perspective Folder

I am looking into making a game where two people who can be in different places would log on to the app, log in and can play - i.e. they would be connected over the internet. I'm looking for a hint on what is the direction to take and which technologies.
For example is there a best practice for example if you make an app with DirectX and C++, and you use some kind of web service or something? or is it easier using C# and XNA? just looking for some pointers in the right direction. I have played around
with DirectX, far from proficient but have familiarity, I have no experience with XNA but hear it's less hardcore and easier going. I'm particularly interested in what the best way to connect over the internet.

What you are asking is very complicated and one of the more difficult things you can do in gaming. I'd strongly recommend you start smaller to learn and then move up to multi-player games as your skills grow.
From the multiplayer client perspective it doesn't really matter which technology you use. You can write a multiplayer game in any engine or technology that can talk to the network. Choose the client technology that you are most adept at and interested in
and learn it. You can go straight to DX, use a third party library such as Monogame (XNA isn't supported for Windows Store apps), or a complete game engine such as Unity. Once you can write a decent one-player game you'll have the foundation to start on to
build a two-player game.
At that point you'll need to define the problem much more specifically. As you state it, it is really wide open. How do you want the users to connect? Directly machine to machine? Matched through a web server but running client side? Connecting to a game
running on a remote server? Something else?
The network connection itself is probably fairly straightforward, but where to connect and how to manage that can be difficult. You'll have to decide what properties you want. Is this an action game where responsiveness is important or
a turn based game where timing is less relevant?
Are the players connecting locally or completely remotely? If the former then they can probably connect directly over the local network (NFC is great here). If the latter then they probably will need to connect to a matchmaker service to avoid firewalls.
This can get very complex, but there are existing solutions you can use rather than writing your own.

We are working in our project to make custom reports as archive enabled so that they can read archived data.
Need some information on the below queries.
1.Is there any function module to read selected data from archive file? For example i don't want to read the whole BKPF table data from archive file instead want to get belnr and bukrs only.
2. What are the perfromance measure which can be taken while making an existing program archive enabled
3. Important archiving tables which can help for the above.
4. When i use the function module "Archive_open_for_read' then system displays a pop up to select the archive files based on the archive object.
Considering that all the reports are run in background how do i make sure that in background run all the archive files are selected and processed.

1. You have to create a separate field catelogus and AIS according to your requirement with the required fields you want . Because the standard structures and field catelogues contains many fields from all tables. So before doing the read operation you have to deactivate the standard AIS and activate your newly created AIS .
2. Can you give some more details for this question to be answered.
3. The important archiving tables used are ARCH_IDX,ARCH_RPRG,ARCH_DEF.
4. While scheduling the Read process in batch mode , it will give you three criterias to be entered.
     . Spool Parameters
     (ii). Start date
     (iii). Archive selection of files.
    Unless you enter values for any one of these options , You cannot execute the batch job.
