Need Driver For Hp Laser Jet 5L/6L for Window Xp, 7

i have hp laser jet 5L and 6L pinrter and has xp and window 7 os. i have searched for drivers on google and found many but none of them working for me. the porblem is when is send pirnt command to printer. the status is printing for 4,5 minutes then it prompts an error that "failed to print".
Please guide me to the official drivers for hp laser jet 5L and 6L.

Recently we were asked to configure 'HP Laser Jet P2055dn' as the cheque printer in our landscpe.
While configuring the printer, I have a doubt of the Device Type to be selected in SPAD settings.
Could you please suggest me which Device Type to be selected for this printer

Hello,
Try using HP Laserjet 4 series PCL-5 driver for the printer you have mentioned.
Otherwise you can customize your own drivers with needed controls, formats, etc macthing the cheque printing.

Fix for hp laser jet CM1312nfi MFP printer and OS X 10.10.2

My HP CM1312nfi MFP laser jet printer, with the latest driver 1.5.0, will only print with my iMac OS X 10.10.2, I cannot scan at all, even with image capture the scanner does not work or show up. My wife's Mac Book is running 10.9.5 and printer driver 1.4.1, she can scan with hp scan but only with the flat bed scan not the tray feeder. I can't find a download for the older driver to try that.
Very frustrating to have a perfectly good HP MFP printer that seems to no longer be supported by the manufacturer!!! The printer is working fine with the PCs in the house.
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thank you for your answer.
I'm aware of the download you pointed out, but my question was different.
I asked why the new version provided to Apple from HP (and from Apple to the customers) won't work as intended anymore. Until few days ago, all I had to do was plugging in the USB cable and my Mac would install all the required software, without all the additional packages I would not like to have.
I wanted to contact Apple but the software is made by HP, so I thought HP should know about compatibility issues. I know this is a community board but I wouldn't know how to get in touch with the Mac software makers.
If the issue won't be risolved I might just try and install the package from this website, but that would not be a fix for a problem recently introduced and that I thought I'd point out.

Laser Jet 2100 PCL with Windows 7 (x64)

I recently retired my old XP machine for a new one running 64 bit Windows 7. My old Laser Jet 2100 PCL6 always worked fine on XP but I can't get anything to print on the new machine. When I plugged it into the Win 7 box it installed in a minute or so and said everything was ready. When I sent a test page to it it showed printing but nothing happened. The printer status shows printer ready but nothing happens.
I'm using a Cables to Go adapter cable from the parallel port on the printer to a USB port, same as I did on the XP box. Do I need a newer cable? Is there any way to make my old workhorse 2100 print from the Win 7 box?

How to get a driver for hp laser jet printer 1010 suitable for Win 8.1

I have a hp laserjet 1010 black & whilte printer which survived through Win XP, Win Vista, Win 7, and now ready for Win 8.1, and it needs to work with a 64-bit hardware and 64-bit operating system.
HP made a robust product in LJ 1010 and I cannot throw it away for its quality till date.
How do I get a driver software for this printer?
Windows could not find it automatically, I couldn't find it at HP support site.
Can someone help?

WINDOWS 10 PRINTER DRIVER FOR HP LASER JET 1600

My wife's laptop just upgraded to Windows 10. Now she is having trouble with printing out of Word. It prints, bu the type is very tiny comparted to what it is suppose to be. The laptop is using the Windows 7 driver. When will there be a Windows 10 driver or is there a fix for this problem?

What is the size of particles in the color sphere toner for the laser jet 2605dn?

I want to know the size of the particles on the color sphere toner for the HP laserjet 2605dn. I want to print color decals on this printer but I have to use ceramic pigments that will survive the firing at 1400 farenheit...Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta. I am not thinking on the iron oxide on the toner, I am thinking in Cobalt oxide, and 3 other oxides. Can I modify the settings or fill the cartridges with ceramic pigments? Can you refer my question to the person handling the toner specifications?

Thank you Alan and know you are right. I really can do all I need with my netbook and ereader and do not need the ipad. I think I just wanted something new and felt I may enjoy using it a lttle more than the netook. But it would be a waste just to buy one when I donlt acutally need it And, donl't think it is worth the extra money for me the get the 4g wireless capability since I doubt I would really need it often.
I may treat myself to the Ipad for the color, touchpad and fun to use but it is very expensive considering how little it will do for me no more than the things I want it for. It woudl be and expensive luxuray, I can do without. I actually need t learn how to use more of the function avaiable first. Maybe I should take up playing games and learning to take digital pictures so I can at least load them. If I could learn to do that and take a decent picture, I could start selling back all the "stuff" I have purchased on ebay. haha - I do have a nice doll collection, I would like to sell. I just do not have room for anything else. That was the primary purpose for the Kindle Ereader I bought and enjoy so much,
But, I will hold onto the thought for a while and see how it goes and what other comments I get, If I think I cannot live without it, then I will have to rethink which one to buy, I coud get the 32 g if I did not have to pay for the 4g wireless. And, if I knew I could get help to teach me how to use and enjoy all the functions, I would give it more serious consideration. My granddaugther got one for Christmas and that was what got me interested in it. I love the size of the screen and it had good color and was fast. She even had an application where she could write her notes and it would convert into typed words. That was a neat feature, If you could print it?
But thanks again for your comments and I will check later to see I get any other feedback.

Laser Jet M1212 "Looking for Printer"

Hello,
Using the Mac 10.9.2 operating system, I have started to get the following error message when I try to print: "looking for printer" - on my computer screen. Nothing prints.
In order to fix the problem, I must unplug and replug in my router (Cisco Linksys E2000) and turn the printer off and on.
This problem comes up at least once a day, recently.
Any ideas re how to avoid the problem altogether?

I understand the printer keeps losing the network connection.
I will be happy to help you.
When the printer is installed on a network, (wired or wireless) the router assigns it an IP address.
However this IP address can change for various reasons.
I would setup a static IP address.
Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. Disregard the title.
Go to Solution five: Assign the printer a static IP address.

Laser Jet 4M plus with Windows &?

So will this work? I seem to have downloaded a drive for the 4M+ for Windows 7, but have questions about whether it will really work or not??? Where do I get a cable that is USB to parallel or whatever that is that goes into the printer? I got a new laptop and never thought about whether this old soldier that still works great after 16 years would work with it or not. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hp laser jet 1022 won't print with my new hp envy 8.1 operating system

My new hp envy 8.1 operating system won't print from my hp laser jet 1022 printer. I have downloaded the driver and it seems like it's not acknowledging the USB cord.

When you say " my new hp envy 8.1 operating system " ..... Does that mean possibly that you had windows 8 ,,, and have upgraded to windows 8.1 ? Or does that just mean you have a new computer and it Came with 8.1 ???
What is the Model of your computer?
The reason i asked.. because I searched for your HP Laser Jet 1022 Drivers, and when i found them, i selected "more details" and it states " This full software solution is the same solution as the in-box CD that came with your printer. This is not a software upgrade. If a prior version software is currently installed, it must be uninstalled before installing this version. "
Sooooo.. if you had windows 8, and then upgraded to windows 8.1, then you probably need to 'uninstall' any reference to the original installed software for the laser jet 1022.....
And you could also try to NOT get the Full software / driver option, and get the 'Basic drivers' ( you will notice a link for that under the download of the 'Full' software link....

Laser jet pro CM1415 will not send or receive faxes

I just bought a MAC OSX 10.9.5 and downloaded upgrades for my laser jet pro CM1415fnw printer plus the firmware upgrade from HP website. The printer will scan and print but will not fax. we are set up for wireless and I have spent the last 2 days trying to figure this out. The message says that no phone line detected. ??? This printer worked perfectly with my old MAC computer but is bing very obnoxious now.

I see that you are unable to fax with the new Mac using 10.9. I can help you with this.
Did you mean you downloaded and installed the Full Feature Software drivers?
HP LaserJet Pro CM1415 Color Multifunction Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Are you trying to send a fax from the Mac or from the printer's control panel?
If you can't fax from the Mac, try the following:
Check to see if the fax driver is installed.
Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners.
If not, the + sign.
Select the printer from the list.
Beside USE: make sure it lists the printer's name only/fax.
Click on the add button.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name also.
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Try faxing again.
If you can't Fax from the Printer, please try these steps:
Make sure you are using the 2 wire fax cable.
Run this test for the fax.
From the Home screen, touch the wrench button.
Touch the service button.
Touch the Fax service button.
Touch run fax test.
You should get 4 passes.
Turn the private receive off:
Go setup/fax setup menu/advanced setup/private receive/turn it off.
Turn off the error correction:
Go setup/service /fax service/error correction/turn it off.
Change the fax speed to medium:
Go to setup/fax setup /advanced setup/fax speed/change it to medium.
Clear the saved faxes:
Go to setup/service menu/fax service/clear saved faxes/OK to clear.
If you are still having issues, then please follow the steps in this document.
Cannot Send or Receive Faxes.
Can you fax from the printer?
Was the fax and printer driver both installed?
Were you able to fax from the Mac?
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

I understand that you are having a problem with installing a Windows XP 32-bit printer driver. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue. If you have an older version of this print driver or other older LaserJet print drivers installed, then this could be causing an issue.
Use the HP Officejet Pro Software and Driver Removal Utility and do a level 3 uninstall to remove all the printer software and drivers.
Here is a document for Installing the Printer Software in Windows XP for a USB Cable Connection that explains the steps to installing the software and drivers.
