Driver being the key word here. Palm the device manufacture and there sister company access never wrote a 64bit windows driver. All desktop versions have the 32bit driver in them. Aceeca a little over a month ago came out with a 64bit windows driver and offered it to the palm community. I am using it on a windows 7 64bit computer. If you have a 64bit version of windows XP, Vista, or 7 than you need this driver so you can cable hotsync with your computer. The driver does not come in an executable file so you need to do a manual install. The driver and directions on how to install are in the pose (64bit drivers are here). Aceeca 64bit driver
You can use the 6.2 desktop if you want but if you want the version that came on the TX to use along with this driver here is a link. It will say 700p on it but both the 700p and the TX have the same operating system. TX palm desktop
This will not have the extra software on it like documents to go and eReader. If you are interested in eReader just google it there pro version became free a while ago.

    They don't come with a physical disk these days, and haven't for several years.  They come with a app to create them from a hidden partition on the hard drive, but that also requires an external USB DVD Burner.  Otherwise you can go to this post to find out how to order replacement media.
    If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Need to reinstall windows but don't have any CD - Satellite Pro L20

    Hi, I wanted to reinstall Windows XP home onto my Satellite Pro L20, but don't have any of the software my laptop came with (read lost the disks). I have a valid XP home key (as its stuck on the bottom of my laptop) but no disc so I tired using a copy of a Windows XP home cd, which didn't work, but did let me get as far as formatting the hard drive.
    So right now I'm using Ubuntu, but want to reinstall Windows. Have valid product key but no software to reinstall.
    Any suggestions?

    Some facts for you:
    - Recovery image *CANNOT* be downloaded
    - Following link http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com >Support & Downloads you can find all drivers, tools and utilities for your notebook model
    So back to your situation:
    For clean OS installation you have *_two_* options only:
    - if possible order new copy by Toshiba authorized service provider in your country *do you have more questions about that?*
    - you can install operating system using Microsoft installations CD *if you don't have it, it is your problem*

    Where can I get drivers for my 1.83ghz iMac if I don't have the discs? I don't only need drivers but software so that I can boot BACK into OS X when I want because my keyboard does not respond until the OS boots so I can't use the Option key at startup.
    I need Vista or 7 32-bit drivers.

    you signature states "OSX 10.6" so I assume that you have a 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD somewhere.
    Use that disc which incorporates the BootCamp 3.0 Drivers.
    After that you can download the 3.1 update and apply it while in Windows.
    The 1.83GHz iMac you have came out in 2006 with OSX 10.4 Tiger.
    The Tiger restore disc that came with your iMac didn't had any BootCamp Drivers on it.
    BootCamp was then released as a seperate download as long as it was in Beta state.

    In future you must verify that 'Find My iPhone' is switched off, that is the key to all the security. If it is on you will not be able to get around it unless (a) you have the seller demonstrate that it is off by showing you that it has been disabled or (b) have the seller go to his account on the iCloud website, then go to Find My Phone (on the site) and remove the item from his account. In your case I would guess that the first method would be preferable.
    The one you have can be sold for parts value, but that's about it, sorry to bear the news.
    PS: You are not the first Pawn Shop operator to post here with this problem. I don't know your business but if there is some kind of trade publication this may be a good item for it (and it is already spreading to other manufacturers devices), Galaxy G5's have a similar system, the EU will require it by law.     Try the other USB port. If it still doesn't show up in Disk Utility then there may be something wrong with your Mac. Try something else in each USB port and see if it is seen. If the other thing, like a USB thumb drive, does show up in disk utiltiy then the USB ports are fine.
    Power down the system and restart with the drive connected, go to DU and see it it is seen.

    Why do you need InDesign CS (that is version 3) or InDesign CS3 (that is Version 5) to install InDesign CS5.5 (it is version 7.5)?
    If it is an upgrade and asks you to input your serial of an older version, you have to get an find it. No one will help you here. If you can't find it and if you have not registered it, you are out of luck. You will have to spend money for a new version.

    Need to wipe out HD but don't have the install disk? I want to sell my Macbook Pro 15 inch. I have the orginal disk it came with but it's leopard and I have seens then upgraded to Lion. Now I can't find Lion and the install disk (leopard) tells me you can't you this disk. So does ANYONE out there know anyway I can work around this???
    I have tried the recovery HD by rebooting (holding down opiton and R) but it dosn't do anything but restart the comptuer.
    Am I doing something wrong?

    First, if you purchased Lion at the app store, the license is not transferable - it is forever tied to your Apple ID. So you can't sell the machine with Lion on it (there is no install disk for Lion anyway). You do need to reinstall the original OS so the buyer can purchase Lion with their own Apple ID.
    As for your problem with the install disk - you do need to boot from another disk in order to erase your hard drive. Have you tried to insert it and then go to System Preferences > Startup Disk > select it and then hit restart?

    Basic steps to deploy Lync for users who own Office 365 E2 licenses, but don’t have Office 365 E3, using Office Deployment tool.
    This also applies for other Office 365 service types where the full office suite download is not included.  In April 2015 This was impossible to find online and not know by the Lync support team.
    Steps are:
    Download the Office deployment tool from
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=36778 and extract it to a folder. For this
    example we will use the \\server\sharename
    location.
    Extracting it creates a setup.exe file and it show a sample XML file.
    2. Create XML file and give it a name such as LyncEntryRetail.xml
    Note: The key is the productID that has to be the “LyncEntryRetail”. Other product IDs will download a version that needs another office 365 license. The productID “LyncRetail” needs an E3 license of Office 365.

    Once you are comfortable that it all works, you may want to edit the XML file if you want to have silent installation and add the following lines.

    When I bought the new (used) iMac, I also bought an external hard drive for backups.  It worked fine, but my husband stole it.
    Then I bought a new external hard drive (Seagate) and it worked fine for three weeks, then died.
    So I just got a new external hard drive, which was put together from an internal hard drive and a hard drive enclosure. 
    Time machine did the first backup today, and it should have taken 9 hours like it did on the previous first time full back up.  Instead, it took 30 minutes.  That can't be right.  I want to start over and do a full backup to make sure everything gets onto my new external hard drive, but I can't figure out how to do that.  Please help.
