Need Driver... I think

Question

First of all, I HOPE I'm posting in the correct forum. Please let me know if not.
I have an MSI motherboard in an XP based, professional automated CD/DVD duplicator. I had a power issue and now am receiving a "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt C:\windows\system32\config\system". After I finally get it to boot from the XP disc... which for some reason is very squirrelly - have to continuously reboot with the unit power switch until it finally goes through the long process of arriving at the "Welcome to Setup" screen... From there, when I try to either enter recovery console "r" or boot from disc "enter", I get a message that says "Setup did not find any hard disk drives..."
So I'm told that possibly the system isn't able to see the motherboard driver and to download it to CD-ROM, then try to put it in the ROM drive at some point during the boot up process and work through it that way. I need help finding this driver. I don't get an MSI model # on any of the start up screens but on the 1st screen, where it shows the MSI logo, it lists "A7252NMS v.5.6 9/6/07". Can this be translated to find which motherboard I have?
Any other help in solving this system error is appreciated.

 They used a cheap PSU, it failed and now want to charge you hundreds of $$ more? $200 for PSU? You can get a Corsair TX650W at newegg for $80 after rebate. Your system would be fine with a VX450W and it's $55 after rebate at the same store. Looks like that outfit is trying to squeeze as much money out of you as they possibly can.

The problem is I'm in Chicago and they have the machine in New York. They have to have the CPU working correctly so they can make sure it boots off the new & newly imaged hard drive.
 They can't test with their own PSU, get it working and then ship it back to you without PSU so you can buy your own? At least they could replace the PSU under their warranty with the same as what they sold you originally and you could then upgrade to a high quality unit on your own. I am assuming of course that they are fixing this thing under their warranty to begin with.
