Unless you can get the last XP driver from 2002 to install in compatibility mode, you can pretty much forget about it. That card is just way to old to get any kind of driver for Windows 7.

I went to the drivers page and had the automatic driver service find my device and install the relevant drivers but I'm getting the following error:

I do have sound, but I';m obvisouly missing a crutial driver - the repair shop that reinstalled the XP OS told me that only the installation disc has this driver - where do I get it if I no longer have the disc?!

Hi Did you try Driver cleaner or sweaper before installing drivers? You might want try windows updated site first installed MS official creative driver that might help your issue there then reinstalled official [email protected]

Hi ,?Im trying to install my Creative Zen Micro in windows Vista , But A Compatibility Problem appear and i can't install it .Windows Show me that a new hardware is found? and what i have to do , i Install it with the CD , but The installation can't be successful and a message saying me i have to contact Creative Support for the dirvers appear and the installation can't be completed. I updated my Firmware as stated by Creative Labs support team. I downloaded on my son's PC which has Window's XP Pro edition. Again, on his PC there is no problem with recognition of the device and/or player. However, when I plug my player into my PC which has Vista, the device manager has a "!" next to ZEN Micro Photo. So my PC "See's" the player. However, when you right click and then go to "Properties" it states that "The drivers for this device are not installed (code 28)" Then it states to "reinstall the drivers" But when I tried to install or reinstall the "Driver" using the install wizard, I get an error message... "An error occurred during the installation of the device" and " A service installation section in this INF is invalid" Then a pop bubble appears and says "Found new hardware" You may have a problem with your device. It may not be working properly" So what do I do at this point. The only way for me currently to download music is to use my son's PC. At least I have another option... I feel sorry for the rest of you. When will creative wake up and smell the Vista!!

I need help. Whether there is a common package of drivers for this series for windows 2003. Has viewed all Internet but has found nothing. Or maybe someone know where i can download drivers for Windows 2003 server ?

Windows 2003 is the server OS, right? Configured as a workstation?
It uses the exact same driver model as XP. Use the XP drivers and you might have to use compatibility features to fool the installer into working.
Download the files to your hard dri've. Right click the installer to get the context menu, and look for the compatibility options. You can have the OS tell the installer it is really XP.
If that doesn't work, you can use the debug lie features of the free microsoft debug tester... called High Version Lie, to tell a more convincing lie to the app and get it to install. This is needed, for example, with Adobe CS2/3. It's part of Microsoft Application Verifier, a free download. I doubt you will need that, though it is handy for installing some things on 2003 server.
You can avoid all that if you are running x64, since as I understand it the XP x64 uses the same core as the 2003 server x64 so it's just as good.... using XP x64 is easier and has better performance than Vista x64.

What are the latest drivers for Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE, 7.1 surround? I have have tried a lot of drivers and they don t seem to work...

I have a Sound Blaster Audigy SE on Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit operating system. So far this Gateway GT5404 duo core pc is having better audio capabilities with high end games like world of warcraft, with some noticable sound issues (Sigmatel audio). I bought this card to better the audio performance of World of Warcraft and get rid of these issues. I'm not sure if this card is any better than the on-board intergrated sound card on this gateway. Is this just a driver issue with the Audigy SE card? or is my on-board better? After putting it in world of warcraft's sound on the logon screen and throughout the game sound "stretched" from lag from the video card's high end performance (NVidia GeForce 7600 w/latest drivers). I also have that model speakers. It's just a 2. set of speakers no drivers ever needed for them. You must need drivers for your sound card as these speakers aren't specifically detected in operating systems.

In 998 or 999 I installed Sound Blaster Li've! MP3+ in my MicronPC Pnetium? using Windows ME. Subsequently I upgraded my computers to Windows XP professional in 2006. At that timCreative Labs still had some drivers update for this device.
I only used it for listening to muic occassionally, so there is nourgent need for me to upgrade the sound card. But recently I had a spyware scan and since then my sound card stopped wroking. I tried to follow the Microsoft suggestion:
Start
All programs
Accesories
Enertainment
Volume Control
Options
Adv. Controls
Advanced Options
Play Control
Check out the box Digital output only
But I ould not find "advanced options by following the above sequence. I tried to load AudioHQU, but it said that my driver AHQTBU.exe needs to be reloaded.
I tried various web sites and I could not find a site that has the downolads for supporting this old iece of hardware

Creative did NOT alter the anything in the drivers package so there is no updated ini file or recompression. They didn't even bother replacing the included version of ALchemy with the latest version available for EVO headset users. The only thing that is updated is the release date on the product support page.

Need drivers for SB 4.1 Digital in linux platf

I have Recently got a SB PCI 4. Digital. I want to use in in Linux system. I have Fedora Core 2 in my system and it detected the sound card as Ensoniq 5882.
It is producing a lot of Hiss noise which sounds like Gas comming out of a cylinder.Somebody please provide me with the Right Drivers to use the card in Linux.

First please donot skip reading because it is a long message : PLEASE HELP!!!
The chipset in the card i am having is emu0k, and it is producing a lot of noise like gas comming out of a leaked cylinder. I donot know the reason why it is producing that but then i thought it would be a driver fault because it detected a wrong chipset.

Then i got the alsa drivers V .0.8 for emu0k from alsa-project site because i didnot find the drivers for the model name but i found them for the chipset.i tried to install them as per the instructions provide in the following link of alsa.

but when i type command /sbin/modprobe snd-emu0k it is giving eroor message. Then i restarted my system and again tried to execute the same same command it worked!!! but then no mixers are working to unmute.

Regards, since salio the new drivers eh treated of installing it without success since it gives mistake, I imagine that I have to desintalar " SB Audigy Series Support Pack 5.0 (05/01/2014) " and to do everything from zero?
