Need DV6000 USB Power board cable pinout for mainboard connector

I have a DV6000 and the connector in the mainboard broke. what is the pinout of the connector, I can put the connector on 2 ways, 180 degrees around.

Wb8wbn.
I would check to see if this is what you want.
The DC jack is mounted on a small board not the mother board???

Just replacing the board would be much easier.
That is not to say that another DV6000 has the DC jack on the motherboard.
Not 100% sure.

  • Need DV6000 DC power plug specs

I need to replace a DC power plug that plugs into the 431446-001 or 431445-001 USB/Power Connector Board.
The 431446-001 provides the DC power jack on the dv6000 laptop.  I need the specs, a part number, or a source for the barrel plug that plugs into the DC power jack.
This connector is part of the external 432309-001 or –402018-001 power adaptors.  It is the plug on the DC out end of the adaptor.  I've tried looking up part numbers for the 432309-001, but cannot find a parts breakdown.
It is the smallest barrel connector I've ever seen.  If I had a micrometer that measured inside diameter and outside diameter, I could come up with the ID, OD and length, and possibly buy it from Digi-Key or another parts supplier.  Possibly I could estimate the dimensions, but I want a precise fit.
I've already replaced the 431446-001, and apparently that was only part of the connector problem.  Before replacement, I was getting no DC to the computer.  Now I get DC to the computer when the  barrel plug is held in just the right position.  A common solution is just to replace the external power supply, but I know that the connector is the only problem.
    Can anyone help?

Well,  the dimensions  of that tip are 4.8 x 1.7 mm.  Can't find a dimension for the length.
The tip numbers for a targus adapter are L107 and 201.  The reason for the 2 different part numbers is because targus makes 2 different adapters that the plugs plug into different ways.
The price of a targus tip is around 14 bucks on ebay and the price of a new ac adapter for your machine is about 9 bucks on ebay.  If you do a search on ebay make sure you use dv6000, not dv6.  You'll get a monster tip for a dv6, won't fit.
You won't be able to adapt a targus tip coz the connector pins are recessed into the connector.  The tip numbers are just for your reference in case you still want to source a tip somewhere.  A company might be able to match a tip to those numbers.
Did someone help you? Pay it forward. Help someone else.

  • The USB Power Adapter NOT working for 3rd Gen iPod touch!?

    Hi Apple dudes
    Well.. Look here:
    http://store.apple.com/dk/product/MB051ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA4NA&mco=MTEyNjA0NTg
As you can see, the iPod Touch 3rd Gen (I got 32 GB, 3rd Gen) isn't listed as a compitable device.. So now I don't know whether to believe the text or the compitable list.. I really don't wanna wasted an already outrageous price on a simple thing like a adapter - And really, what's up with you NOT being able to charge your iPod from a regular USB power adaptar - NOOOOO, it HAS to be the APPLE-MADE one, cause it's soooo white.. Yes, I'm frustrated, 'cause my first time with an Apple product hasn't just been as your slogan says: "It just works!".. Nop.. Problems, confusing software, and you wouldn't even let me now that my username was already taken when I creted this account. Come on... Took me several "Create now" and Browser-switching to figure it out..
Sorry for this aggresive ending, I hope you can help me with my problem after all
    Regards

    Welcome to the  forums!
I can't help you with things like user names. Apple handles that; I'm an Mac/iPod user, not an Apple employee.
Tech specs for the unit you have can be found here: http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/specs.html. And, based on the back view (4th image) on the page you listed, I'd say you could use it for your iPod, because you should have the USB charge-cable that came with the iPod. (The one that plugs into the computer, and hence, into the back of the charger.)
However, I'm not an expert in European iPods, being American.
As for software...Apple software, if you're used to using Windows, takes time to get used to. I'm still finding things out, and I switched a year ago. It takes a little time.
    Best of luck--

  • Replace sub power board 65 W with 90 W for dv6715ed

Is it possible to replace an USB power board 65 W with an 90 W USB power board? They have different cables. I will use another adapter with the new power board (comes from a DV6000).

I am not understanding what you want to do? You want to replace a usb power board on a dv6700 with one from a dv6000? If they have different HP Part numbers they are not interchangeable and you run a high risk of frying the motherboard if you try to modify the parts. Best let us help you find the part you need.

  • Cable pinout & daqmx

    Hi,
I am currently developing a program that should run on a RT controller. I have a PXIe 6535 that should be used to feed/read signals to/from a Npoint C403 controller (20 bit adc converter). First request:could you provide me with a cable pinout for SHC68-C68-D4? I looked in internet so far without success. Is it 1:1?
I have an example for a similar device by Npoint (previous generation) that was supposed to work with PCI-6533 using SHC68-C68-D1 as a cable. Unfortunately, the files are based on DAQ and my goal would be to have everything using daqmx (on LV 2010sp1 for now). Please, see example files and specifications of the protocol in the attached files.
I do not find the same possibilities using daqmx in place of daq. In particular, how to use an external clock based on PFI signals different from PFI5, for acquisition? In fact from the npoint document indicates the following correspondence:
    RESERVED     =  PFI5
    REQ 2            =  PFI4
    REQ 1            =  PFI3
    STARTTRIG 2 = PFI2
    STARTTRIG 1 = PFI1
    RESERVED     = PFI0
    given that SHC68-C68-D4 is 1:1 (?).
Please, I wonder if you could show me what timing option should be selected and what particular settings are supposed to be tweeked in order for instance to acquire information from port2:3 make use of the signals PFI2, PFI4 . In internet, I could only find fragmentary information but not clear enough.
    Best Regards,

    Hi Daniele,
First request:could you provide me with a cable pinout for SHC68-C68-D4? I looked in internet so far without success. Is it 1:1?
Yes, the D4 cable is a straight pass through.  If you need the specific pinouts for it, you may find that here. It will take on the pinout of the card you are plugging it into, in this case the PXIe-6535.
I do not find the same possibilities using daqmx in place of daq. In particular, how to use an external clock based on PFI signals different from PFI5, for acquisition? In fact from the npoint document indicates the following correspondence:

First, you may find the DAQmx/Traditional DAQ name equivalents in this KnowledgeBase here. You can find the purpose of PFI 4 and PFI 5 in the Clock Sources Summary in the 6535/36/37 help here. The only other line you can use for an external clock importing into the device is PXI_TRIG 7 on your PXI Chassis backplane.  All other imported clocks go into PFI 4 or PFI 5 depending on if you are performing generation or acquisition. These are preset and cannot be changed.
I'm not sure why your Npoint documentation points to PFI 5 (external acquisiton clock terminal) to being reserved, does that mean it is not used?  Or that it is reserved and used specifically for a purpose, meaning it is already routing a clock to PFI 5 for you?  You can only use PFI 4 for an imported generation sample clock.
Let me know what further questions come up, thank you.

  • Gameport header pinout for Audigy M

Hey everyone, I could use a little help. I have the Audigy MP3+ soundcard, but I've lost my gameport /MIDI connector for it. Does anyone have the pinout for teh connector on the sound card itself so I can make a new one? Or know how I can go about getting a new connector and bracket. (bracket not really nessecary) I'm fairly good at soldering and have the parts to do it, and while they have the pinout for the connector itself, nothing is listed for the connector on the board. ANy help is appreciated.

Does anybody know the pinout for the 44 pin D-Sub found on the back of the Audigy platinum Ex dri've?
I'm trying to build a cable to connect the dri've directly to my card, as I don't seem to be able to buy the daughter card (SB00b) anywhere.
(If anyone does know where I can get a daughter card that would be really useful as well)
Only that can be found is pinout table for AUD_EXT, but it's not 44 pin but 40 pin connector. You can find it from Creative Support/KnowledgeBase by searching AUD_EXT.

  • Need either a macbook or ipad, primarily for photos and browsing, which is better?

Apple geniuses are split between whether I would need a macbook or if an Ipad would work for my use.  Primary uses: browsing, email, editing photos, and listeming to music.
    Thanks,

You want a computer if you're seriously into editing photos. While there are some editing programs that run on the iPad...Filterstorm, as an example...none compare to Photoshop which only runs on a computer. Adobe has released a Photoshop program for the iPad, but IMO, its not ready for prime time. The iPad augments the computer for serious photo work...quick edits in the field...not having to lug around a laptop, but you need the storage & power of a computer for serious work.

  • Connector block Pinout for PCI-DIO-96

The PCI-DIO-96 Card can be ordered with a CB-100 I/O Connector Block (Order Code 777812-01). The connector block is a 100 pin connector which splits onto two IDC connectors. Can you tell me what the pinout for these connectors are ?

    Hello,
The pinout will be the same as on page 3-3 and 3-4 of the PCI-DIO-96/PXI-6508/PCI-6503 User Manual.

  • Which cable for USB Power Adaptor

This Nano is my first ipod and I recently purchased a USB Power Adaptor, from ipods4less, to use in the event I didn't have access to a computer to charge it.
I thought the cable that came with the Nano would work but the USB end of the cable is a little too big to plug into the power adaptor.
Would someone be able to tell me exactly what cable I should buy that will plug into this power adaptor?
    Thanks.

I'm wondering - is there such a thing as a firewire adaptor? I'm wondering if instead of a USB power adaptor, which I ordered, ipods4less sent me an adaptor that needs a firewire connector. Since the hole in the adaptor is smaller than the USB plug but it's similar then maybe a firewire is needed.
I sent ipods4less an e-mail and I'm waiting for a response to see if that's the case.

    Hi,

The power cable...I don't know. I also need one or a Deskjet F2235.

  • HT201343 I need to get external connection cables for macbook air to imac - is this just a thunderbolt to standard usb?

My screen is busted and i need to backup information/ upgrade system to icloud drive.
To do this, i need to use an imac display - can i connect this with the standard thunderbolt to usb cable?
I do not have apple tv, and may not work since i cant see the screen on laptop.
    Thanks,

You need to connect the Thunderbolt cable to a Thunderbolt port or Mini DisplayPort to use Target Display mode; the iMac model also needs to support video in. Click here for more information.
You need to connect the Thunderbolt cable to a Thunderbolt or FireWire port to use Target Disk mode. When in this mode, the computer can be treated as an external drive.
If the connection involves USB at any point, it won't accomplish anything.

  • Using Apple USB Keyboard Extension Cable for Power

I have a USB keyboard extension cable. Part number is 591-0079. Can I use that to extend the power cable for my iPad when it is plugged in? Can I also use it for my iPhone?
I wanted to check first to make sure because it predates the iPad and the iPhone.
    Thanks any advance.

So there won't be any problems transferring power through it? It will charge iPad and iPhone without any trouble?
