Replaced XP system with windows 7 clean install - unable to install drivers for ethernet controller. Unablbe to find manufacturer's name to search for dirvers.

Need"multimedia audio controller" driver for pavilion zv5340us running XPsp3

Just received a free HP Pavilion zv5340us and can not find the driver for the multimedia audio controller.
Searched everywhere on the net (HP website, Driverguide,etc...) and on my XP cd.
I have everything else working but I have no sound.
Running XP SP3. Does anyone have this driver?

I see there are no audio drivers for your notebook on the support page, nor does the product description say much about the audio that would help, so...
Click on the multimedia audio controller in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. Post the top string of characters you see there. Those will hopefully ID the manufacturer and model of your audio card, and I can try and find the driver link to post for it.

I Need USB Controller Drivers For My HP Pavillion g6 2235ca Notebook Running Windows 7 Pro 64bit?

So it has been at least a couple of months that I've been using my laptop with only ONE working USB port.
The other two do NOT work. If I go to Computer on the Start menu, and right-click on Computer, then Manage, then i go to Device Manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark next to Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller.
When I try to update them, Windows 7 tells me that an update could not be found blah blah blah...
This problem happened ever since I installed Windows 7 64bit over Windows 8 64bit.
So, can someone help me find drivers for this USB Controller? Or is this some kind of hardware failure or issue?
Please help? Anyone...!

Win7 Ethernet Controller for HP p2 1334

My friends have an HP p2 1334, which they let the virus subsription run out back in March. The box was loaded with viruses so i formatted the drive and loaded a fresh Win7 Pro image (originaly had Win8, but they hated it). I can't find an Ethernet Controller driver for Win7 for this model. It's an Atheros PCIE v.2.0.2.7 controller.

Yesterday i installed Win7 64bit in my Toshiba Satellite C660-26Z and ethernet controller, network controller and PCI simple communications controller drivers are missing.
I don't have recovery disc
So if anybody knows where to get it and how to install it...then plz help me....:)

Win7 64bit Drivers needed for pavilion touch laptop

I have just bought a HP pavilion touchsmart 14-n056ea that came with windows 8. I am using it for work and they have given me a windows 7 pro 64bit OS to use instead as it works better with their systems. i have formatted the drive and installed the win7 OS now but the drivers online are only for windows 8. Driver for the ethernet controller on a HP Pavillion P600000 Series desktop after upgrading to Windows 7 Enterprise?

After upgrading from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Enterprise (x64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601), I cannot find working drivers for my ethernet controller. The desktop is a HP Pavillion, Model
No. p6710f. I located the drivers on HP's website, but Windows 7 Enterprise
is not listed as compatible. Compatibility list:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Basic (64-bit), Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit), Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
The original driver (according to HP's site) is a Realtek PCIe Family networking controller, Version:7.26.902.2010 Rev. A.
I tried contacting HP, but apparently I voided their warranty once I upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise. I do not have a support plan with Microsoft because the operating system was purchase through TechSoup (nonprofit). I greatly appreciate your help;

Cindecka I cannot believe you cannot install this LAN driver, I mean it cannot be so complicated. All offered drivers are the same as in recovery image and they must work properly.
I would like to have your notebook in front of me and try to do it myself and see what happen exactly.
