Welcome to the wonderful world of Oracle UCM. It really is one of the best ECM products around.
There are a number of organizations who provide training and Oracle is one of the best though they can be pricey.
There are some self-study books that are must-have's if you're getting into this realm:
1) The Definitive Guide to Stellent Content Server Development by Brian Huff is a bit dated but a solid development reference text.

Anyone know what I need for basic program text?

So I have a 'server' (really an older desktop) running Arch, and only recently have I installed a GUI which I use remotely through FreeNX or VNC. The reason for this is because sometimes it's faster to get things done through the GUI than the command-line interface. I installed FluxBox since it's very light weight and good enough for my purposes.
For some reason though, several programs appear to be missing all their text. I don't know what's up with this really... it looks like the text is replaced with underscores.
Here is an image of what I'm talking about.
Any ideas on what packages I may be missing? I figured installing Fluxbox and things like Nautilus would have automatically included everything I need... but that appears to not be the case :s.
P.S. Thanks moderator for deleting the image link, which I didn't have saved. Would it have been so hard to just change it into a URL?

Try playing with lxappearance ( specifically, as noted by McDoenerKing, font settings ).

Question : Post MBA , I want to get back in SAP field with more functional/technical roles , however I am confused with Module selection. For functional ones, I don't have any background . Few of my friends suggested to learn SAP Solution Manager , however I am confused with it's scope. Please advice the module which will be better to take ahead as per my profile.

Honestly there is no answer for that until you do it. A mov will work perfectly fine. But there are variables: The quality and sharpness of the original photos. How they survive being compressed to a mov, how that mov survives being compressed to DVD format. The quality of the DVD player (and no, they are not all the same) and finally the crispness of the screen. If all goes well, yes it will look perfectly good. But you're not going to know until you do it.

E71 - help needed for basic set up questions

I have just purchased an E71 - a big jump from the last mobile (pre camera era)
But Im lost on this. I ordered the phone online, so Im not sure where to go to get help and instruction about the phone and how to set it up properly and use it. Mannuals aren't my best option. Im in Australia,.
Is there a Nokia store where I can go to help with setting it up?
Does my phone come with a internet security or do I have to purchase it?

Awesome vansharma and kingpin007 - thankyou for your help.
The PUK was with the mobile operator, so I rang them and after a security check procedure I was able to enter the PUK code and get the phone unlocked. Phew!
I checked the Security Warning Web Setting (as you said kingpin007), and the web alert was marked to ON already - so no problems there.
I also registered at Mosh, (the planets must be badly aspected - that took me 12 attempts LOL) and they have one security download NetQin Moble Anti-virus.

I guess I am questioning weather or not the phone comes installed with any antivirus or security safeguards factory installed ... is my phone secure on the web/emailing/downloading etc. if I dont install the NetQin or something similar?
In the mannual it says this:
"Important: Your device can only support one antivirus application. Having more than one application with antivirus functioning could affect performance and operation and cause the devise to stop functioning"
And presently I trialled the free 7 day 'F7' security application that was a standard downloaded to the phone - but it is too costly for me to subscribe to - it has another day before it runs out, so I am thinking I should wait until it expires before considering dowloading any other security application. Does that sound like the right thing to do?
Well at least Im back to square One with this all ...
Im sure I'll have more questions as I try to work this all out.

Currently, I am using BPM & SOA 11.1.1.4.
Could somebody advise me a solution for integration BPM and UCM ?
I heard somebody said that need to wait to BPM 11G patch set 5 (11.1.1.6) version, which have basic BPM and UCM integration and haven't to using external API like RIDC or CIS.

The cheapest Mac available new is a Mac Mini. It is no bigger than many an external hard drive. But the screen and keyboard and mouse must be purchased separately. They support USB and Bluetooth keyboards and mice, and pretty much any DVI, HDMI, or displayport display. Although the iMac is certainly an attractive option if all you want to deal with is deciding on a printer. I still recommend getting an Apple USB keyboard for the occasional times you may need to troubleshoot startup issues. Normally not a problem, but as it gets older some issues can be fixed at startup or diagnosed at startup.

iPhoto > iPhoto help > browse help > view and organise. Perhaps this touches on some of your needs.
Usually, best results for questions come from posting to the forum directly related to the question, in this case iPhoto. That tends to find the gurus

Thanks for the speedy reply. I have read so many comments about Flash being incompatible with Lion I was wondering whether to download it or not. So many sites on the Web still require flash, however, you almost don't have a choice but to download it even if it is incompatible. I gather a better version of Flash will be available for Lion soon. Again, thanks for the help. I will download the latest version of Flash.

Although C is the default language of Unix, Swift does not require that you know C in order to learn or program in Swift. But knowing a programming language is a helpful step in learning a new programming language.
If you read the manual's first couple of chapters you will see what the goal of designing the Swift language was. In the manual they even suggest you can learn Swift without knowing C. They have removed the indirection of the C reliance on pointers and other arcane methods in order to make Swift easier and quicker to learn.
If you have no programming experience then I would suggest you might start with BASIC or Pascal. When you are comfortable with programming then you can take on Swift.

No, essiantials is just a two day high level overview. The 5 day training is in-depth training on the SOA suite. I advice to do 5 day training.

Advice Needed for Training

Hello Everyone:
I searched the web site and couldn't find a good answer for my question. I am about to restart the web site design component of my marketing and public relations business after a unexpected two year break. I am in need of some train for CS6 to get me up to speed on all the new features. I have been using CS4 but would really like to get a good training CS6 so I can use the different programs and features with extreme ease. I am a paraplegic and getting to the Bay Area or a community college for training classes would be difficult right now. I searching for comprehensive on training for the CS6 programs and features and I need to get started ASAP. Does anyone know if this exists? Can it be gotten through Adobe? What the good CS6 training books? I know there are several but I'm not sure which book(s) to pick.

For self-study resources, I'd suggest Lynda.com and Adobe.tv but in general, I'd suggest focussing on one application at a time as opposed to trying to tackle the whole suite at once. If it were me, I'd get started with InDesign. My company does offer online instructor-led training classes, but it's fairly pricey and is typically the sort of thing that employer's pay for. The biggest tip I can give though, whether self-study or instructor-led is to start with a calendar and a plan, and take a step by step approach. Get good enough in one application that you can produce quality work in it, then move on to the next application. Trying to learn the whole Creative Suite at once is an awfully big elephant to eat. Search in google for Siemens contact details and mail them. They will be more than happy to assist you.
If you take a training at authorized centre, you will get all SAP certification materials. TBIT40,TBIT41,TBIT42,TBIT43,TBIT44.
Seeburger adapter is not covered in the training since it is a third party adapter. You can get the details on how to use this adpter from service.sap.com
