Need google and u.s. air toolbars--can i go back to older firefox?

need these toolbars---adds on not compatible - want to go back to older firefox which allowed these toolbars

Do not know about USAir toolbar. You can contact them to ask about the plans for their toolbar.

You could go back to Firefox 3.6.19 but support for that version is expected to end soon. Then you would using an unsupported, possibly vulnerable, browser.

There is no equivalent in Firefox. You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3145/ BlockSite] extension to add a similar feature.
If the junk sites are coming up whilst you are browsing, this may be caused by malware. You should consider scanning your computer with some malware programs. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

Once you are in Recovery Mode, it's too late to do any backup. I am afraid you are going to lose your data.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I don't need ilife on my macbook air. Can I uninstall it?

Ok, I am new to the mac family. I recently bought the full line for my entire household. Macbook pro, iMac, Mac mini and Macbook air. Every one of these run the same but I am very particular with my macbook air, 64 gb. I just did an update to iphoto and it was almost 2 gbs! I do not need iife in my macbook air since I am using it only for my accounting business. Can I uninstall ilife from my macbook air since i have the sames programs already with my other macs?

Absolutely you can. Just drag the apps themselves to the trash.

I have changed the settings for my main page so that it's set for Google and it is still pulling on yahoo. I also unistall firefox and re installing it and the same problem persists. What can I do?

I also tried restoring it to the default settings, put in other websites as main page but yahoo is still coming up as the main page. I have downloaded yahoo's toolbar a few months back and have unistalled it a few weeks ago but still nothing has changed.

Check in Add-ons to see if you have any toolbars installed:

Because the Ask Toolbar (a custom version I think) is sometimes installed (or offered to be installed) with other programs, such as Foxit Reader.

Go back to your homescreen, then completely close down your mail app by double clicking the home button to open the multi-tasking bar. Hold your finger on the mail app icon and then click the red circle that appears on the left of the icon.
Once you have done that, reopen the mail app and you should be sorted.

Check icloud.com to see if they appear there. If so, try going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Sync (in the calendars section) and set this to All Events.
