1.link where i can find basic code examples in java ,chapterwise(innerclass...etc). not the one in sun sample code(1.0 version with diff API) & allmanec.com.
2.the book which can expertise me in jsp,servlets,ejb with project based approach (deployment in tomact or use of ecclipse IDE). it should contain an real time project with everything required to complete it sucessfully.
i am B.E (EEE)grd 2004 batch.iam stuffed person in java& j2ee.iam updating myself with practical knowlg.if anyone can provide me an oppurtunity to explore my talents in ur concern there in banglore or chennai, plz do respond to utilise me. thank u.

Do some testing to get your method working right with some less than important footage.
Copy/paste files where you want then.
Use the FCE Reconnect feature to tell FCE where the newly copied files reside.
Make sure the new location and files are working as expected with your Projects.

Need help coping project from one computer to another.

I need help coping project from one computer to another. I loaded all video on computer 1, copied events and project folder to computer 2. I was told I only needed to copy the project folder back to computer 1 since the events folder is already there. I copied project folder back to computer 1 but the files wont open. I dont have computer 2 available.
Please help!!!

No that's not the way to do it - iMovie gets confused and in some cases the problems might be un-repairable.
You've got several problems
• iMovie'08 - CAN NOT MOVE PROJCTS - You NEED iMovie'09 or iMovie'11 - I see no other working solution
• Never MOVE or alter any folder named
iMovie Projects - or -
iMovie Events
on DeskTop/Finder - This might be very harmful
• Moving (Projects) and Events - HAS TO be done within the iMovie Application.
You've got an Evets window and here You can view Your Events in two ways - Yearly - or - Yearly per Hard disk
Here You can move within this "window" to another location
• Projects - NO they do not contain Your full movie - only a document on howto use the material in Event folder
and there might be worse if You added Photos from iPhoto and Audio from iTunes/Garageband - then You have
to get this over to the second Mac too, to be able to continue editing.
So to move Your projects to another Mac You need
• iMovie'09 or 11
• an external hard disk -
MUST BE Mac OS Extended formatted - as UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange will not work for VIDEO
Should be a FireWire one - as UBS/UBS2 performs badly when used for video
• Then move/copy over within Project resp Events window in iMovie Application

Create a summarisation hierarchy using a seperate status selection profile which excludes the TECO
and CLSD projects.
Create status selection profile and use it in KKR0 for projects.

I'm looking for Apple desktop P.C. as an upgrade from my Dell /windows XP. I need guidance.

Almost all peripherals are compatible. I'd recommend reading https://www.apple.com/support/macbasics/ and if you have an Apple Store in your general area stop buy and ask questions. You were not specific as to what screen, printer etc... that you want to use with the iMac and that is all important so you can verify they are compatible.

Running Tomcat from Eclipse

Hi All,
This is the first time i am trying to run a web project through Eclipse.I have configured Tomcat for that.I have setup a project where in my servlets are created under src and the classes are compiled under the build/classes folder.
I have kept the fork option true in the Server web.xml.
My jsps are running.But when i am trying to send a request to the servlet.The mapping from the servlet is not recognized.Definitely case of a classpath.
I am not sure what classpath doest it take.Its not taking from the build/classes folder i have tried creating web-inf/classes folder and kept the class file there.But it did not work.
Please help

i need not deploy the files in tomcat as the files are being picked up from my eclipse
workspace and the necessary files are in the eclipse build path.What i think is the VM is looking for the

I have new project which has been abandon for long and assigned to me recently.
I know what is the steps we need to work.
1. DRS from current CUCM version
2. Install same version of 6.0.1 to new Server
3. Backup from step1.
4. Upgrade to 8.6.2(it is not direct support, so I have to upgrade to middle version first)
But customer doesn't have current CUCM(6.0.1) version of DVD and I cannot find the version from Cisco site as well.
1. Can I export BAT from old version and import BAT to new version ? will it work ?
2. I don't have any bootable version either of old or new, so I need to make bootable after download from Cisco site.
I googled and some site said I can copy bootsector from bootable DVD and copy to new DVD, in this case even though it is not same version, for example, if I copy from 10.5 version and copy to 8.6.2, does it make bootable DVD ?
3. How can I remove all configuration on CUCM ? is it CLI command if I can ?

There is a way, however if you got into any bad situation or needed any help during the process TAC WILL NOT be able help.

Try this method, and you should be able to create bootable DVDs from non-Bootable ones.
Secondly, you may raise a TAC SR and request them to release the Bootable media for 6.0.1

Error while creating projects in SAP-PS from cProjects

Need suggestion on creating projects in SAP-PS from cProjects. There is cProjects & SAP-PS interface.The requirment is to create project in SAP-PS from cProjects. All the configuration has done in cProjects & PS module also. While saving the projects & checking the accouting the following error & project is n't creating.
1.Combination company / CO area is invalid Message no. KO124
2.Acct assignment determination is not poss.in the account assgnmnt manager
Message no. IAOM220
3.Only one error message is transferred from the log to the cockpit
Message no. IAOM_CPROJECTS029
I would like to request all to suggest in fixing the issue.

If the companay code does not belong to the Co area, the system will certainly raise an error message. The question is, where do the values come from.
Woud you please check the customizing in ERP system, if you can find the inconsistence:
1. Customizing of the Proj.Profile under 'Create Project Profile' , SAP standard delivered is CPR0001, may be replaced by customer,
Which Co-area & company code are used. In Tab 'organization'
2. Which responsible Org.unit is maitained at involved cProject, to which co-area or company codes is this org.unit assigned.
3. If the Badi under the
Integration with Other mySAP.com Components ->
Collaboration Projects -> Controlling -> Business Add-Ins (BAdIs),
which set the org. information hardly via Badi method.

Running Tomcat from a java program

I'm writing a program that shall run Tomcat from the program itself. The eacy way would be to just call org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap.main(String[]) in a new thread, but that gives only a little information to the program about the state of the server. Actually I would only know when the server is told to start (just before the main method is called), and when the server had stopped (just after the main method).
I have browsed the Catalina API documentation and source code for hours, but the only solution I have gotten, writes the standard startup text:
Starting service Tomcat-Standalone
Apache Tomcat/4.0.4
Starting service Tomcat-Apache
Apache Tomcat/4.0.4If I could get that to work, I would could add a LifecycleListener, and get all the info. I need.
The essence of the code I use is this:
CatalinaService cs = new org.apache.catalina.startup.CatalinaService();
Server s = new StandardServer();
StandardService stdService = new org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService();
s.addService(stdService);
cs.setServer(s);
cs.process(new String[]{"start"});but the following also produce a simmilar result:
BootstrapService b = new org.apache.catalina.startup.BootstrapService();
b.load(new TomcatLoader(),null);
b.start();A dirty solution would be to copy the code form Bootstrap.main(String[]) and add a few lines, but I really dosn't like that. It would be a nightmare to maintain, primiarry because I would loose the functionallity of Catalinas class loader (where a lof of classes is loaded).
Does anybody know how I can get Tomcat to run, so I still get my info. and don't use any dirty solutions?

How to upgrade Tomcat from 5.5 to 6.0 on BusinessObjects XI 3.1 SP5

Hi,
I have recently installed BOE Enterprise XI 3.1 SP5 on SLES11.
Tomcat 5.5 has been installed as part of the Installation.
JVM 1.5 was also installed.
Now since Tomcat 5 is in End of Life support, hence it has been marked as a security risk by the scans performed.
I need to upgrade Tomcat from 5.5 to 6.0.
I am looking for relevant documentation as I couldn't find any official guide for it.
Can someone help me out here with the official documentation on tomcat upgrade.

Here are the steps to upgrade from Tomcatxx to Tomcat yy:
The below steps are for upgrading default 5.5.20 tomcat to a higher
incremental release of tomcat.
This method is not intended in an upgrade from default 5.5.20 to a major
release version such as tomcat 6 or 7.
Stop the Tomcat
Run the script ./tomcatshutdown.sh in bobje directory.
Rename bobje/Tomcat to tomcat_bak.Command: mv bobje/Tomcat
tomcat_bak
Download tomcat 5.5.xx core tgz file from Apache website to bobje/tomcat and
extract using the command: tar -xvf tgz filename
Create new folder apache-tomcat-5.5.xx.Command:mkdir apache-tomcat-5.5.xx
Rename folder apache-tomcat-5.5.xx to Tomcat55 using the move command
Go to the deployment directory which is one level above bobje.
Run the script ./wdeploy.sh tomcat55 deployall
Message:"Build Successful"
Run the script ./tomcatstartup.sh to start the Tomcat.

Java and Tomcat: Why do I need the port number when accessing Tomcat?

My ultimate goal is to setup a website that displays data from a database. I will use Java, Apache, Oracle, and whatever else I need to create a website the uses servlets, JavaServer Pages, and JDBC.
I�ve got four Pentium III computers:
1. Windows 2000 Server to be the web server (MyWebServer, IP = 10.10.1.1).
2. Windows 2000 Professional to be the database server (MyDatabaseServer, IP = 10.10.1.2).
3. Windows 2000 Professional that I use to develop and test (MyDeveloperPC, IP = 10.10.1.3).
4. Windows 2000 Professional that I use as a client to connect to the website (MyClientPC, IP = 10.10.1.4).
I installed Java Web Services Developer Pack on MyWebServer. It requires Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE), so I installed that first. The files I downloaded and installed are as follows:
J2SE: j2sdk-1_4_0-rc-win.exe
JWSDP: jwsdp-1_0-ea1-win.exe
After installing these products, I set the environment variables as follows:
JAVA_HOME = c:\j2se
JWSDP_HOME = c:\jwsdp
Path = c:\j2se\bin;c:\jwsdp\bin; [and other previous statements]
On MyWebServer I start Tomcat (from the JWSDP menu option). It starts properly (as far as I can tell).
Then, from MyClientPC I open Internet Explorer and in the address box I type:
http://10.10.1.1
�The page cannot be displayed�.
I then try again and add the port number:
http://10.10.1.1:8080
This displays the page c:\jwsdp\webapps\root\index.html.
Here�s my question: Why do I have to enter the port number to get a page displayed? Do I have to have Apache HTTP Server running on MyWebServer to display pages without entering the port number?

When you web server is running at the default Http Port, then you do not have to specify the port yourself.(The browser does it automatically)
So if you run your web server at port 80, then you will not have to specify the port explicitlyin the url.
If you want to use tomcat only as a jsp/servlet processing engine then install a web server (either IIS, or apache web server) and run it on port 80. (so that you dont have to specify the port)
Now configure tomcat to run as a servlet engine for this web server. for this refer to the tomcat documentation.
If you do not want to have an external webserver then you can configure tomcat itself to run at port 80 (in this case tomcat would do the work of both the web server as well as jsp/servlet engine... but this is not the setup for a production site). this can be done by changing the server.xml file in the conf directory of tomcat installation.
