Need Guidance Regarding My Ipad Service Issue .. Can Someone Help Me Out??

it is really disappointing that I'm yet to receive an update on the Ipad 4 replacement .I had very much pressed for an urgent delivery as all my client meetings are pending but it seems my many requests have had no influence on their tardy working. It was agreed that the product will be delivered in 2 to 3 Business days(before 15/05/2014) however I have not received the product up to this date This delay on their part is causing me considerable embarrassment
now they say they are out of stock  and still they couldnt get me a replac.ement ... moreover i have paid a sum of Rs 23,283 as a service advance as my ipad was not eligible for  warranty cover ..
and i have almost lost my patience as im taking a hit on my revenue everyday ... my profession runs on IPAD .
im terribly disappointed with apple's Support on this
friends .. kindly guide me ... how do i go about this???

As Sky has already stated, that is something you will need to take up with the service chanel handling the return. Ask to speak to a manager or supervisor to see about escalating it.
To that, however, I might add that there is no specific SLA explicit or implied when you purchased the device (and this wouldn't be exclusive to Apple; practically no consumer electronics outlet would) guaranteeing a specific turn-around time for repairs or replacements. If the iPad is that crucial to your business, and you do not have any contingency in place, such as a back up device, that is on you, not Apple.

    - New cable and different USB port
    - Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

    Apple Stores are not the only place to have Macs repaired. You can take your comp to your local AASP. First you should call AppleCare like the previous poster stated.

  • I want to erase my hard drive and reinstall  lion server. Can someone help me out?

    i have a mac mini running lion server. I want to erase all the date and start fresh. When i try to reinstall Lion it does not show anything about lion server but jut Lion. I want to make sure I do it properly. It is also asking me in which hard drive to install Lion but im unsure.

    Check in the app store under purchases both lion and server should show up there to download again.
    No need to erase both drives for a clean install just the drive you are using for the OSX. Though if you are truly starting a fresh then erase and reformat both.
    As for Upgrades. Yosemite is the only upgrade now available through the app store as is Server 4.0 for Yosemite. I have not tested the latest server yet and can not comment on it's reliability.
    Any server you set up should be thoroughly tested on a closed network before going live.

    As stated above - I am having a really big problem with the iTunes 10.6 installer.
    First tells me 2 DLL files are missing and then that a program needed for the install isn't there.
    I never had a problem withiTunes last year when I had an iPad.
    I deleted the iTunes from then because I found the iPad to heavy - I have very severe arthritis
    in my wrists. I might as well send my iPhone back to the retailer I got it from if this issue can't be solved.
    I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP3 so it should work.
    Please can someone help?

    Perhaps Bob will see this thread, he is the professor in these cases.
    You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
    All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
    Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
    Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
    All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
    Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
    I want to test 2 other things:
    1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
    2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.

    I have had this same problem since uprading to 10.5.1.  I just checked 10.5.2 and it's still broken.  
    Are you behind a proxy server that requires authenication?  I am and I was fine with 10.5.1 until I had to change my proxy server password. 
    Previous versions of iTunes used to prompt for new proxy credentials but the 10.5.x versions don't.

    I got an iPad and an iPhone. I use their mail application daily basis. When I got my hotmail account, usually after I read the mail, an hour or sometime it's just gone. However it is still in the hotmail sever when I logged in my hotmail account on PC. I want them in my ipad or my iphone rather than I don't have to log in my hotmail account to check my email again via safari.

    Do you receive a lot of mail on your Hotmail account?
    Mail for iOS only defaults to 50 or 100 recent messages in the Inbox of each mail account.  If you get a lot of mail, you may want to change that to 200, 500 or 1000 messages so they aren't removed from the device so quickly.
    To change the setting, launch Settings then go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and change the number of messages under the "Show" item.

    The maximum download seed I get from my iPad mini retina is almost half that of my iPhone and macbook. My ISP gives me 60mbps internet, however i only get around 30-40 on my macbook air and iPhone 5c and this tends to fluctuate to lows of 10. But on my iPad I only get around 10-15 average this can go up to 40 but rarely does.
    I know my wi-fi router is the bottleneck as always get 60mbps download when on ethernet. It is a stock CBN cable modem router literally in the same room as where i use my iPad, and I also live in a building with 15 other routers from the same ISP running on 2.4ghz. Could it be interference or compatibility issue with the router and the iPad?
    All software has been updated.
    Any help would be thoroughly appreciated

    1. Some people have reported slow syncing with anything but the iPad's own USB cable (e.g. using a US cable from an iPhone/iPod). Try different cables
    2. More work - disable iTunes syncing completely, then re-enable a bit at a time, e.g. one movie at a time, one playlist at a time, one photo album at a time. There are periodic reports of syncing issues caused by a bit of media that's been corrupted, and this (tedious) approach allows you to identify where the problem might be.
    3. If that fails, do a clean restore back to factory settings, then progressively re-enable syncing as above.
