I have a Toshiba Satalite L300D-242 Laptop and am looking for the Hard Disk plastic outer case cover, can anyone help, part number?

Im not sure what part do you need.
Are you looking for an external USB case for a 2.5 HDD?
You can purchase such part in many online shops. You will need one which is compatible with SATA 2.5 HDD.
Otherwise I recommend contacting an Toshiba ASP in your country if you need an part especially for your notebook model.

Want to buy a case/cover for my macbook

i have a refurbished macbook, bought in november 2009 (from the online apple store) that i want to buy a case/cover for. The problem is everywhere i look, the cases are designed for the aluminum or macbook pro, and one seller on ebay that has the same cases available from the apple store, states that it doesn't fit the black or white versions, only aluminum and pro. Does anyone know who/where might make/sell cases for this version? Seems odd that even the apple site doesn't have them.

A great case cover for the Passport

While I eagerly await the arrival of my 4th Vaja case for as many devices, I purchased a case cover that is one of the best I have ever seen. It covers the back and sides of the Passport and is really stylish, even elegant...a word I seldom use...lol Anyway, if u just want a cover that provides some protection for the back and sides and looks really cool, you might want to look at this one. another suggestion: this case covers all around and actually completely covers the side keys with no impediment to their use ...it is semi-soft and absorbs shocks better than a hard case which would transmit forces to the fone

Hard case cover for mbp & ipod

This is just me, but here it goes.
Why on earth would you want to wrap your beautiful apple toys in the hardshell case like ppl did on their mbp & ipod? I just don't get it. Apple designs these beautiful toy for you to TOUCH, LOOK, & FEEL & then you wrap them up & never get a chance to TOUCH or SEE their textures. I would understand that you the cases protect your toys but you're NEVER being able to TOUCH the ORIGINAL, & the reason we want these toys is b/c we love that TOUCH & LOOK at them, but now we wrap (cover) them up already.
That's just me. However, I don't mind using the hardshell case for my mbp if I ever have to use it out on location, like films shoot then I would deffinately get one to protect it from scratches; but limit to that period (one day or few hrs) only, not the everyday.
throw in your input. I would like to hear from different philosophies.

The vast majority get it for more than aesthetics. An extra barrier against breakage makes perfect sense. For some, the process of adding and removing the case is too timely, or too prone to accidents, and why you may see it remains on in what would appear to be a "safe" environment. Even though such a barrier may not be a suitable barrier in some cases if you were tripped up by someone while the machine was in your hand and you are running with said device, it would provide better protection than the built-in shell. Many such shells also include something that is easier to grasp than the smooth chrome, aluminum, or plastic Apple includes, making them less accident prone. The original "clamshell iBooks" actually had a handle on their back.

Help needed to find out BADI's for Transaction "PECM_CHANGE_STATUS"

Hi folks,
I was told to use BADI "HRECM00_ACTIVATION" and code in the Method "CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT" within it. After coding and executing my Transaction "PECM_CHANGE_STATUS" it does'nt stop at the method (inspite of keeping a breakpoint).
So, after suggestions from some of you folks i tried the below 2 methods to find out the relavant BADI's
1) First way, putting a breakpoint at "CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface" via SE24 and found only one BADI in exit_name which is "HRPAD_SUBTY_CHECK".
2) Other way i checked the Package of suggested BADI "HRECM00_ACTIVATION" , which i found as "PAOC_ECM_ADM_BL". ANd when i go to SE80, for this package when i check the Enhancements section->Classic BADIs. i found about 15 BADI's ..Is this the right way to check for a BADI ? If not, how to know the relavant BADI's for my transaction "PECM_CHANGE_STATUS"

1. The BADI "HRECM00_ACTIVATION" does exist in this transaction, did you activate the implementation after writing the code? The method is called in the FM HR_ECM_CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT. You can try executing with breakpoint at the FM HR_ECM_CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT.
2. You can try using the program in the code gallery to find user exit/Badi. Link: [Badi/exit finder|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Snippets/ToFindoutUserexitsandBAdI%27s%28New+format%29].
3. In case you are working on ECC 6.0 the first point ( "CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface" ) mentioned by you might now return all the BADIS, as SAP has introduced a new method by which BADIS are invoked. You can try searching for Kernel Badi in SAP Help.

I need help fleshing out an idea for a form

I have a form I build for my agency that adds records to a database. It's sort of an online survey that's used by different offices within my agency, and it's "recycled" every year or so.
It consists of some info fields for the user filling it out (name, organization, etc) that are always there, but it also has some textarea fields that change whenever it's "recycled".
It's a large form with a lot of serverside error checking, and it's a bit tedious to recode the HTML (not to mention the target page) everytime the form gets recycled, so I had an idea.
My idea was to create a table in the database for the form, and have the following columns:
field_type (i.e. text, textarea, etc)
field_name (for the name="" of the input tag
field_label (for the <label> tag)
field_size
field_order (so I can control the order that the fields show up)
Then use a query to have my CF page dynamically build the form.
While I'm pretty sure the above would work, I'm not so sure how to code the target page, since the FORM.names won't remain the same. I thought about tying to capture all the form fields in some sort of array, but I'm not really sure how to do that. Any ideas?

There is one answer. However, it makes the form even longer!
Consider that the columns you've mentioned represent attributes of each form field. Then include hidden form fields to hold the values of these attributes. For example, for the text field named abracadabra, you will have something like
<input name="abracadabra" type="text">
<input name="abracadabra_type" type="hidden" value="text">
<input name="abracadabra_label" type="hidden" value="mylabel">
<input name="abracadabra_size" type="hidden" value="10">
<input name="abracadabra_order" type="hidden" value="3">
When the form is submitted, the values in the action page will be
form.abracadabra
form.abracadabra_type
form.abracadabra_label
form.abracadabra_size

New LCD case/cover for MacBook White?

Hello!
We have a tiny problem- the top cover of our new macbook got some scratches and we are wondering whether it is possible to only change the plastic cover, or is it necessary to change the whole LCD screen?

Welcome to apple forum.
It is possible (in my opinion) to just change the plastic cover.
But to make sure that is do able, try to call local apple store or authorize service center.
But if it is a minor scratch, I'd suggest to let it be because it is not common to change that and the cost might be a bit expensive.

can anyone tell me where i can find out what a computer's serial number is if i don't have the computer anymore?

The serial number is on the box the machine came in; it is on your sales receipt; if you backed up your machine by cloning to an external drive, the serial number can be found in System Profiler; if you have an APP, the serial number is on the Agreement. If you've ever had the machine in for service at an AASP, they may have a record of the serial number, or it may be on the paperwork you received from them.
If none of these are available to you, then you should call AppleCare at 800.275.2273 in the US (or find AppleCare's phone number on your country's Apple site). Maybe they can offer you more suggestions.

On Toshiba support page definitely not. Such things are not offered for people like me and you.
Maybe Toshiba service can help you with this.

Armor cover for 3rd gen ipod

I need to find a armor cover for a 3rd generation ipod desperately. Can someone help me please?

In Hong Kong we do not have Apple Shop, they have assigned a 3rd party for iPod service. I remember I brought my Mini iPod there 2 years ago, they did not opened the case instead they did couple of Restores, which did not solve, therefore, they gave me a refurbished mini.
I suspect that when they collect all these broken iPods, they will send back to the Manufactures in China, and will get repair or parts replacement there, once it get fixed, they will replace with a brand new iPod case - - - - - > Here comes the refurbished iPod.

My case cover will not

The case cover for my NOMAD Jukebox Zen XTRA will not fit on properly
I read the instructions and believe that it is on the proper way. The case cover fits securly over the bottom section, but not the top, and therefore from a side-view is slanted.
Any suggestions to fix this?They would be apperciated, thanks.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

Hey all. I have a G505s, model 20255. When taking the bottom cover off (the cover that protects the RAM, hard drive, wifi, etc) I broke some clips because - being stupid - I didn't read the instructions first! IDIOT!
Anyway, where can I buy a replacement bottom cover for this machine? I can install it myself (now that I know what I'm doing *eye roll*)

Do i need the plastic cover for my keyboard?

Just wondering about how necessary it is to get one of those plastic/rubber keyboard covers for my macbook pro... I kind of like the way it types without it, so wondering on how much I really need it... does it really protect from dust, etc. that much? I dont really eat or drink around my comp so I'm not really concerned about spills... does apple recommend it?

Then I would not get one. They hinder cooling, because air is drawn in through keyboard to cool unit.
