Need Help 6700 Slide

Hi Everybody
Please i need some help with my new 6700s
after one week i transferred all of my files through switch from my SE s500i and now when I Open any text message or bluetooth message   nothing happens
please need help

Are the numbers saved on both phone and sim memory? And if so, did you set the phone to show only phone memory?
Go to Contacts>Options>Settings>Memory In use>Phone memory only.
This usually happens when there are two instances of contacts with the same number.

  • Desperate..need help  - Anniversary Slide Show - transitions....

    Alright I must be an idiot or I'm missing something super simple. I just loaded over 300 pictures into IMovie (I'm using this instead of Iphoto because of it's capability to use sound bytes and multiple songs etc instead of one song over a slide show.) Now that the pictures are finally in order I go to hit play and all it shows is a single "slide" How do I connect all the pictures together so that it will play like a movie? Even editing transitions I find it only previews on the single slide not moving on to the next picture. What am I missing here? Any help would be great before this Sunday.

    the 300 clips have to be in the timeline to be part of your movie..
    and: when you incidently select one clip, in playback the movie shows only that clip...

    But I do really need help for hard reset my phone

    That's simple.
    All you have to do is:
    From MENU goto SETTINGS, When there scroll down and select 'Restore Factory Setting'.
    There are two options in there:
    "Restore Settings only"
    and
    "Restore all"
    Select "Restore All"
    When done the phone will delete every thing on the Phone memory(C:\)(contacts,picture,messages etc)
    and also restore phone to its original settings and will restart.
    This proceedure is mostly common on S40 phone.
    Hope this explain and solve the problem.

  • After upgrade to iOS8, very slow, no volume slider bar, no volume through the iPad although the headphones work. My volume slider bar now reads"Sound Effects"?? Mute is off, need help. So frustrated!

    I need help! After upgrading to iOS8.1.2 , my volume slider bar disappeared and is now "Sound Effects" ??? I have no external sound. Do have sound through headphones. Mute is off. Have tried resetting several times with no luck. Frustration level is building as I have wasted hours now on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I do not think apple will do much to help you under warrenty,  as this was caused by a fall.  (alas!)
    I think the case is, as you suggest, jamming the rocker down, and it may have damaged the swith itself.  Can you carefully lever it out of the way?   Very very carefully.   If it is already broken, there is not much harm you can do by trying. 
    If it is just the switch being jammed, you might be able to move it out a little.  If it is the swith itself, you will need some real service after your three hour drive.  You might check your loacl area for a closer service repair source.

    i have just changed from N95 8GB to 6700 slide.i had almost 4gb of videos and pic in my n958g,so i bought an 8gb micro sd for my new 6700 slide.i tranfered all vids and pics from n958gb on to the card via card reader.i inserted mmc in to 6700 slide and all vids and photos are visable in gallery-images,all photos are ok BUT the vids keep sticking when playing apart from one which has appeared in vid clips.i have just blue tooted a vid from 6700 slide to 5800 and 5800 is playing perfectly which proves the card is ok.why is this hand set not playing my vids without sticking?
    please help ,these are vids i cant lose.

    For what its worth, I had a similar issues and called the UK helpline & technical support number.  A guy called Glenn was right on the button with what he thought had gone wrong and he was right.  From my perspective, this was an issue with an out of warranty iPad, however, due to Glenn's product knowledge, he was able ascertain what had gone wrong during the iOS 3.2.2 to iOS 5.1 upgrade.  This saved me time, money and has restored my faith in Apple as a quality brand.  I suggest you call the UK help line. I previously called the American line and, no offense, but they were unable to fix anything. As is often the case, it comes down to skilled individuals who actually care about the company they work for. Call  Glenn and his colleagues; they will put you right.

    The next best suggestion I have is to back up your device in itunes and restore the software back onto your device. It sounds like you might have had a error when downloading the software update.

    Hi,
    I downloaded a flash auto slider from one site. But I don't
    know how tu use it. It has a lot of AS external files. I imagine,
    that it should read data from an xml file, and there is AS file,
    which calls xml, but I need help, to create that xml, or to show
    how to use that auto slider...

  • 6700 slide - keeps trying to connect to internet

    I recently bought the nokia 6700 slide and have been having the same problems as others, with the screen saver etc
    One which I haven't seen coming up before though is that at random times a display box comes up on my screen asking whether to connect via O2 WAP or O2 internet, even when I'm not using the internet or not even touching the phone!  I'm not sure if it's some fuction on the phone that is trying to connect or what.
    It wasn't bothering me that much until this morning when my alarm didn't go off.  When I looked at my phone the little display box was on the screen and only when I cancelled that did the alarm go off.  A text message also came in when the display box was cancelled, although it had been sent an hour earlier.
    I can't really rely on the alarm function until I get this sorted out so if anyone has any tips, they'd be much appreciated!

    try these
    Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Admin. settings > SIP settings
    Delete any profile defined in there.
    Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Admin. settings > Packet data
    Set "Packet data connection" to "When needed

  • So confused with my 6700 slide

    Have just got a new 6700 slide and there are so many things I can't work out that I'm just about ready to throw it out the window! If anyone could answer any of these I'd be incredibly grateful.
    Ok:
    Firstly it keeps telling me it is unable to access my contacts that are saved on my sim card, and sometimes it tells me to insert my sim card, even though it is clearly inserted. What am I doing wrong? the handbook says I should have been given the option of accessing them when I first entered contacts, but I don't think I was...should I restore it to factory settings and try again???
    Secondly, to do this, is says I need a lock code - is that something I should know or be able to access?? If not, does that mean I'm not able to restore it to factory settings?
    Third: Please tell me there's a way of getting rid of all the awful boxes and messages on the "desktop" page?? I dont want to set up my email, share my photos or see my calendar entries as soon as i turn on my phone, i just want simply the background, so how do I get rid of them?
    Ok these are the things imediately confusing me but I have no doubt there will be more. Please help me if you can.

    Well yes ! Two things actually, first read the user guide, and secondly Tick my green star !!! 
    But you can also check your shortcuts and active stndby settings in personalisation-standby !!
    Nokia phones are actually quite easy to use, rather than getting frustrated, play about with it for a while, you'll struggle to break it , and you may find you do want one or two shortcuts once you get used to it

  • Java using GUI's mixed with opengl... needs help...urgent....

    guys, i need help.... is anyone there have an idea about opengl...? ill attach 4 files that needs to be enhanced or debug for possible errors. to see the canvas... you should have atleast all the needed lib and jar of opengl in your pc.

  • Need Help Fast! Page is dispalying twice in quiz

    I have created a quiz using tips from another post in this
    forum. I insterted a regular slide with a continue button before
    the quiz questions. I insterted another regular slide at the end of
    the questions with a re-take button that points to that first
    slide. This part is working great. When I take the published quiz,
    I click the continue button, and instead of continuing, the slide
    redisplays. I click the button again, and it moves forward like
    it's supposed to. Any advice?

    What you're seeing is likely the result of a MS patch for IE
    in response
    to the Eolas patent suit.
    MS recently updated IE so any content shown in a page using
    the Embed,
    Object, or Script tags will need to be 'activated' before
    they can be
    clicked (or otherwise 'interacted with').
    Your home computer probably hasn't had the latest security
    rollup
    installed, is why you're not seeing the issue on that
    machine.
    There is a work around, many site mention it. This may be a
    good place

  • How do I backup the data on my 6700 slide?

    I have a 6700 slide, and I have problems with the memory. The phone says the memory is full, even though I removed all the files I can, and cleared the cache in the internet browser. When i remove things the amount of memory doesn't change at all. Now I can't take photos, and I can't put any music in my phone at all, it's very frustrating!
    I read that it could be a good idea to hard reset the phone to free up memory. But then I'll need to do a backup on my data, but how do I do that? 
    It's basically the contacts i need to backup, since I sort of removed all the other files....
    I'm using a Mac, so I can't use the PC suite program.

    Download the Nokia Suite from here and install on your PC.. Connect the phone to PC and open OVI Suite.. Go to Tools --> Back-Up and follow instructions.. For added safety use the 'SYNC' function too.. and the Data will get Synced with the Nokia Suite. Other than the Contacts.. you may Sync the Messages, Photos, Music also...

    Need help with the Vibrance adjustment in Photoshop CC 2014.
    Anytime I select Vibrance to adjust the color of an image. The whole image turns Pink in the highlights when the slider is moved from "0" to - or + in value.  Can the Vibrance tool be reset to prevent this from happening? When this happens I cn not make adjustments...just turns Pink.

    Yes, that does reset to “0” and the Pink does disappear.
    But as soon as I move the slider +1 or -1 or higher the image turns Pink in all of the highlights again, rather than adjusting the overall color.

    If you have upgraded the RAM, the likely cause is upgraded RAM or some other hardware issue. Sources of RAM caused KP's are:
    Failed RAM
    Incorrect RAM
    Unseated RAM
    Start by removing all upgraded RAM and replace with the original RAM the computer shipped with and then test. If they KP's disappear you know your issue is RAM related to the upgraded RAM.
