Need Help as a First Time Starter

Dear Sir
I am trying to create a form in Live Cycle and this is my first time
The issue are
I have 2 fields Quantity and UnitPrice - I want to multiply both and get in the result in the Column Amount and is a normal integar fashion or a currency of my choice.
In case of either Quanity or UnitPrice missing the Amount should be left blank and the Quanity and UnitPrice should show as a Null value even the 0 should not be displayed, In case a person does not fill the quanity figure the form is not complete.
In another field suppose i choose a item from a drop down list, i want to generate auto number starting with a particular series like K001 or FNB001 or HK001 in the codes column which is totally seperate.
If you need to see the form i can send the same to any email, please advise this will be very helpful

Thanks for helping however since its my first time and I don’t know where to enter this script and I want to ensure to use it again and again here is form for you to see.
The issues I want sorted ARE
1. Qty and Approx Unit Price to be multiplied to get the Amount.
2. Currency for Approx Unit Price should be as a choice like uSD, EURO, Rs, and The Amount should come in the same manner
3. When some one chooses a Department like Kitchen the Code No should come as K001, K002 etc in case of Housekeeping it should be HK001 and so on. How do we do so.?
4. I want a choice to submit the form by email to various people for approval, like GM or HOD etc
Please teach me how to do this so I can start to create other forms as well

Thanx for responding. The input is from a text file. SDNN, SDANN,etc are the timedomain parameters of heart rate variability.
SDNN: the standard deviation of the NN or RR interval i.e. the square root of variance.
SDANN:the standard deviation of the averageNN interval calculated over short periods, usually 5 min,which is an estimate of the changes in heart rate due tocycles longer than 5 min
SDNN index, the meanof the 5-min standard deviation of the NN intervalcalculated over 24 h,
RMSSD: the square root ofthe mean squared differences of successive NN intervals
NN50: the number of interval differences of successiveNN intervals greater than 50 ms, and
pNN50 the proportionderived by dividing NN50 by the total numberof NN intervals.
The problem is dat I am a fresher to the world of Labview. I have jus recently started working on it. Can u please suggest me some some idea as soon as possible.

If you have followed the standard Apple troubleshooting processes (see user guide )
probably a trip to the local Apple Store Genius bar is called for before warranty runs out
Assuming the iPad has been released in your Country if not you may have to take it to a
neighbouring Country where it is available

I need help getting my face time and imessage to work. It is saying wating for activation. I just got my iphone 5 2 days ago. I have reset it from the phone and from itunes on the computer, made sure I'm attached to wifi.

The 3 basic troubleshooting steps are these in order: 1. Restart your iphone 2. Reset your settings/iphone 3. Restore your iphone. Since your iphone is only a couple of days old, you should backup your device before restoring. If you don't have anything on your iphone that you care to lose, then simply restoring without a backup is fine. A quick reset of pressing the sleep/wake button (top of iphone) and your home button simultaneously and holding it until the silver Apple logo appears.

HT204380 help. tried for first time to use FaceTime with another iPhone user & it would not work. "FaceTime failed". we are both on wi-fi networks & iTunes accounts are set up correctly.

Thanks Helen for the response. At least you can get some of the contacts to work. Absolutely none of mine will. Feel like my phone is cheating me out something it should do. Think I'm going to just have to dump all the Apple products in general because this phone hasn't worked right since I got it.

First time start up

First time starting up my new Mac mini. Am stuck at the start up screen where it asks you to pair the mouse or Magic Trackpad (which I have). I see that the pad is connected as I can move the arrow around the screen and a small blue right arrow button pops up in the screen. However, I cannot inject or click it to move forward. What should I do????

If you're tapping to click, physically depress the trackpad until you feel a click. Otherwise call AppleCare.

Power Mac G5 Freezes only the First Time starting up

PowerMac G5 on StartUp freezes every FIRST time. Sometimes it chimes, most times it doesn't. Used the Hardware Test disk and it says RAM is OKAY. I have 4 1 gb chips that I have been using for 2 years without problems. I reset PMU, I zapped PRAM, NRAM, removed Airport card, used compressed air to clean the insides, reseated all RAM chips, repaired permissions - and nothing changes. I removed all peripherals and nothing changes. It always starts the 2nd time, so I can still use it. I need to know what is causing a First Startup freeze at the Grey screen, but again, 2nd start is good. I am a Recording Engineer with a ProTools HD rig, so I can't afford to take the computer out to repair, as I am in the middle of a Project. Just want to know if anyone has seen this issue before and dealt with it?

Very grateful for all of the replies! Disk Utility showed no errors, I replaced the battery last week, with a correct replacement. No problems with Clock/Date. RAM has been reseated. Airport Card removed, etc. I will put in some new RAM as soon as it arrives to see if that solves the issue - and I glad that someone echoed that software testing doesn't always show the whole picture. I cannot boot in Safe Mode. Does this help get closer to the root problem? It's confusing that it always works on the second boot and never the first boot. Even later in the day, it has the exact same issues. It gets to the grey screen spinning gear and freezes - every first boot, all the time. 2nd boot is flawless. That's what I don't understand. What problem goes away on the 2nd boot? Sounds like a Power issue of some sort, but I've never run into it. Also - Chime almost never occurs on startup - so I can't do the PRAM zap while waiting for 3 chimes, because I don't get any. Does this help describe the problem?

Help.. First Time Using DVD Studio Pro!!

OK .. this is my first time using DVD Studio Pro. Before this I have always used IDVD for my Final Cut Projects, but I now need to branch out!
I've hit a bit of a brick wall. I've watched the video tutorials and tried to read the instruction manual, but it's heavy going!!!.. can someone help me get over the hump?
Here's where I've got to:
- In my Assets tab I have my two file - Test.mov QT Video File and Test.mov QT Audio file. Both are yellow uncompressed video. I also have a templates folder.
- I chose the template called brush cover which I can see under the menu tab on a window. If I go to that same window and select the graphical tab I can see a menu 1 and track 1.
- In my timeline I have dragged my Video and adui assets over and can see them and actually play the movie.
- What is also worth mentioning is that I can also see the 18 chapter markers that I created in FCP.
- Now I hit the brick wall!!.
- Back in my menu I see 8 buttons. In my timeline I have 18 chapters. How do I transfer my 18 chapters over to my menu so that I have 18 buttons each one representing a chapter?
- I'm sure that it's obvious and a silly question.. but for a rookie like me who's trying to figure this out from scratch it's not easy!
Thanks for any advise!!.. also if anyone has a good 'idiot's guide' for ex iDVD people moving to DVD Pro then I'd really appreciate it!

Back in my menu I see 8 buttons. In my timeline I have 18 chapters. How do I transfer my 18 chapters over to my menu so that I have 18 buttons each one representing a chapter?
You can duplicate your 8 buttons menu so many time as you need to include your 18 chapters, creating a simple new button to navigate through Chapter Menu1, Chapter Menu2, etc.
Or you can duplicte&resize buttons to fit more of them in a single menu, but 18 button chapters could be too much for a comfortable navigation.

You can use the Search feature in this forum and almost for sure you'll find any answer you need, in particular for basic stuff.

Help syncing for first time please

I have an iPod touch that has loads of apps installed. I want to sync it for the first time to a new itunes installation. I took the option to transfer purchases from the ipod, and can now see the apps in itunes. However, when I tick the option to sync applications, I get a warning that this will erase all applications AND DATA from the ipod. I obviously do not want to lose all the high score data etc. Will it really delete all apps and data and then copy all apps back to the ipod (thereby losing the data)? Or is this just a generic warning regarding syncing, and it will see that all apps match and to leave them alone?

You'll need to back up your ipod manually before syncing it to your new iTunes. Here's how to:
Make sure your still authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Dreamweaver table building help for a first timer.

I either need help re-slicing my web page or I need help making a table to fit this oddly sliced monstrosity. I went to classes for this far too long ago and I am only now putting this into practice. The page is 955px x 600px and I wanted the table cells to have 0 Border Thickness, 0 Cell Padding and 0 cell spacing, but every attempt to make this table within a riddle within a paradox has failed. Please help send this newbie to the correct drawing board or send me a sample table,

Since you're basically starting over, why not do it right? Table-based layouts were a popular choice about 10 years ago. Modern web design has changed a lot since then. Nowadays, we use CSS (cascading style sheets) to style content and position elements on pages. Once you understand the basics, CSS is actually very liberating because it keeps your styles totally separate from your HTML content. Should you decide to change the look of your pages later, it's accomplished in an hour or so by editing the CSS code within a single stylesheet. The major disadvantage of Table based layouts is that you would need to go back and change each line of HTML code to change the appearance of your tables - which could take a week, or more on larger sites.
Apart from the time saving advantages of CSS, having content separate from style makes indexing your site easier by search engines, it produces cleaner, more efficient code and faster loading pages. I urge you to look into CSS as your primary layout method. You'll be glad you did.

When I run the page, it opens and I try to enter some data and press Apply. it does not insert into the table.

I am facing the same issue.
rows get inserted into the tbale, but only whol columns have the data.
all the attributes are correctly mapped to view instance and view attribute.
My VO has 1 EO and , i have joined another table to get desctriptions of the field.
could that be the problem ?
ex :

table t is the custom table I want the data to go in. but only who columns appear after commiting.
any clues ?

Preferences are not saving. Each time I start Fire Fox it acts as if it is my first time starting the program.

Each time I open Fire Fox, it acts as if it is the first time I'm opening the program. The 'Welcome to Fire Fox' first-run page always shows up when I open the program.
None of my preferences, like the custom themes, save - however my bookmarks, which I chose to have transferred over from my previous Fire Fox, seem to be saving.
I have version 5.01

However, I am unable to delete or make changes (such as renaming) the ''Prefs'' file because it keeps telling me that the file is open. However, when ever I go to my task manager there is nothing under the name or description of Fire Fox running. So I can't figure out how to close this file that is supposedly still open.

Which security software (firewall, Anti-virus software) do you have?
Make sure that it isn't locking the .js file(s) in the Firefox Profile Folder

First time starting up iMac, USB keyboard not recognised

i have tried to set-up my imac, however the keyboard is not recognised and says that i have to turn on my bluetooth keyboard when i have a USB keyboard and it will not go on to the next step.

I bout an iPhone 4 with 4.2.1 from Dubai anyhow the face time does not show
& i traveled to France & i change my SIM Card to France Card & i updated my iPhone firmware again but still Face time does not show even when i go to setting - phone (no face time selection there)

i am in bahrain i was given the same answer by the team but when i chang my sim to Zain sevice provider an update downloded for my carrier now it shows 10.1 automaticly from itune when i synk and i could see facetime in my phone but from my batelco sim it was not showing... i think it is somthing to do with Carrier update fro apple it self...
