Need help as BT help pages as useless!

I have had my BT package for just under a year (I think its a year as I've just had an email asking if I want to sign up for another Line Saver rental).
I can't find out how long my package has left to run or if there are individual elements which run for different times.
We seem to be paying a lot for what we get:
Unlimited anytime calls
No line rental as we pay up front in one amount
BT Infinity Option 2
TV vision gold
£51.40 but with £9.40 discount = £42 a month.
We are happy to continue with the Broadband as its better than the Sky broadband we had. We don't necessarily need the anytime call plan so could switch to evenings and weekend free calls. We no longer want the TV package as its rubbish and we think we are being overcharged for what we get, considering the new TV package is £12.50.
If we had the TV package for £12.50 and BT infinity option 2 at £26, that only comes to £38.50 which is less than we pay now, even after the 'discount.'
Once we can establish what the contract period is, we can look at what's best to do. Ideally we would like to keep the broadband and calls but lose the TV altogether. If we cant do that for the price we expect, then we'll look for full packages elsewhere of course. So first step is to confirm our contract I guess?
I returned to BT as I thought they'd improved but after reading lots of the posts here, I do wonder if we would be best getting out altogther!!

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

I need help with a 1 Page Form with scrollable text field (5000 limit characters) and printing

Hello, I have no training in using Adobe Acrobat Pro or Livecycle Designer so I need major help with a 1 page form that I am attempting to create. Basically the form will be used to nominate employees for a Job Well Done Award.
The form contains the following:
1.) The name(s) of the employees being nominated and the date of the accomplishment.
2.) In the middle of the page I have a section for a write up, limited to 5000 characters, this is were I am needing the most help. A couple of things, about this section: The font is set at 11 and I don't want it to change. The text field has multiple-line, scroll long text enabled. The text field is a certain size and can only hold so much text, then it starts to scroll, which I am ok with, I like that feature. The issue I am having is during printing. I would like to keep the text field scrollable but when I print I would like to be able to print everything in that field. Executing this is the problem, I have no clue how to do it. I was hoping for some setting within Acrobat Pro or LiveCycle to be available, but the more I read and research this, it appears that it may require java, xml, basically some coding. I don't know for sure.
3.) Below the text field I have another field for the person nominating to type their name and right next to that another field for a digital signature.
4.) And finally below those two fields I have a Submit button that is setup to start email application so the form can be emailed to the proper inbox.

With an Acrobat form the only thing you can do is export the text to
another location (like a blank field on another page) or to another file
format. With an LCD form you can expand the text box itself, but you'll
need to ask about that over at the LCD Scripting forum.

Oh, okay. After selecting the format I want to send, it says "creating... ". Then irrespective of the format I choose the message e.g. "creating spreadsheet" disappears, and so does the choice window (where I earlier chose Mail). I am taken back to the Numbers (or Page) where I had started from. Diavonex's note indicated that after "creating ... " stage I should be taken to an option where I can type in email address where I want to send the file, if I want to copy it to another address etc. I cannot arrive at that page - no matter whether I am working with Pages or Number, or which format I choose for the file to share !
I will try to close as you have suggested and try. However, I have switched on and off several times by now, but nothing changed!
Will look forward to any ideas to solve this !!!

Thanks for your update .
But my requirement was to create the help link on all the custom pages as it is appering in all standard pages .
For standard pages they have attached the standard function with standard menu (ICX_GLOBAL_MENU) due to which help is appearing in all the standard pages but if we want to have the help link on custom pages then we have to manually set the page layout property "Help Target" of all the custom pages .
It worked for me and issue is resolved now.

Help! The new Pages. I can't copy an entire page or rearrange the pages. In the new formatt also when I insert a new page when using a template it doesn't give me the formatting and guides. Can anyone help.

I can't copy an entire page or rearrange the pages. I use this feature a lot, particularly at this time of year. Can't seen to rmove the header and footer markers either.
Can anyone help or do I need to revert back to pages 09?
If I do re-install 09 will I be able to open the files that where converted to the new version?
I don't like this new one. Many of the graphics features have been removed. Not impressed at all. Very frustrated.
The business card templates and others behave strangly. If I insert a page it's blank only. I don't get the guides. I was in the middle of a design project and had to start again from scratch as it threw everything out of alignment and I can't copy an entire page. When I use select all, group then copy when I pasted it on the new page it overlayed all the cards in the top two segments. Frustrating ! I ended up saving my first page under a different name that was the only way to copy the page then I had to work between three documents instead of one.
I went in today to last years Christmas tag file and the same issues I can't copy a page. I can't rearrange the pages.
Simple features like colour choice and transperency for shapes are gone. I want to use my colour choices not someone else.

Yes, I am using 09 with out issues. Just have to remember to use "open with 09" or open pages 09 first then my document.
I create some amazing cards and posters with 09 that when on a PC I would have to use both Word and Publisher to create. Flipping back and forth.

64-bit windows can run 32-bit applications just fine and always has. They are just limited to a small amount of memory.   If something isn’t working it’s likely another problem like an incomplete download or trying to install the Mac version on a PC or something like that.

If you can’t get things to work, then please post a screenshot of the error and a description of what you’re trying to do that lead to the error.
Also the term “downloading” refers to transferring a file from a remote server, across the internet, to your local computer.   The term “install” means running the program that was downloaded on your local computer to put the working program on your computer that you can run.
It would be helpful to know if your saying that the actual transfer across the internet part isn’t working, or if that part seemed to work, but when you run that installer program you’re seeing an error.

Could someone help re: Left right page headers

Hello all. I have been using indesign for around a year now and am only scratching the surface so please forgive if this is easy.
I have a book set up with a number of documents.
The pages are simple enough for laser A4 printing back to back.
The spreads therefore are set up with the first page as an odd number. I have set up indesign to always end each document so the next opens on an odd number.
All well and good however..
At the top of each page is the title for the page, on the left hand spread this is on the left hand side and on the right hand spread its on the right hand side, consequently when printed the page title always appear on outer most edge.
Where it all breaks down is if I have to insert a page, this then make the pages following it have the title on the inside edge. I hope I am making sense.
I could stick them into the master but this is not right as I would have to overide each master page to just to edit the title. And I am not sure how to proceed.
So basically I always want my titles to appear on the outer edge, left for left side spread and right for right side spread. If in the furture I add a page I need the rest of the pages to understand they have moved and adjust the title accordingly.
Is this possible?

If I understand your description, by "document title" you mean text that appears on a document page that's picked up by a running header text variable on the master page. If the source text changes frequently through a document, it's not a document title, it's simply a running-header text source that's captured by a running header text variable. A document title is source text created once in a document, is captured in a text variable on the master page, and appears on every document page that the master page is applied to.
If you really do need to hide source text instances to avoid displaying both the source and the variable on the same page or spread, the layer approach is one valid method; however, instead of turning the layer on and off, select the layer in the Layers panel, and in the panel fly-out menu, remove the check mark from Print Layer. The source will be visible for typing and spell-checking, but will not appear in Preview display mode, nor will it print.
Conditional text is another way you can show/hide the source text, but it's got the same requirement that you manually turn it on and off; the non-printing layer approach doesn't need manual attention.
However, if "document title" means the one instance of source text that is captured by a master-page running header variable and appears on all the pages in the document, perhaps you're not aware that if a running header text variable can't find a properly-tagged source style on the current page, it searches backwards (towards the beginning) through the document until it does find an appropriately-styled source. IOW, you only need one instance of the document title source on a document page; the running header variable on the master page will display it, no matter how many pages it has to search within the current document. You can use the non-printing layer method to avoid displaying both the source and the variable on the same page.
Another approach to avoiding the duplicate display of a source and the variable that captures it, is to create and apply a master page without the running header text variabler, to the first document page, the one that contains the title's source text. You'll need to apply this special master page to the first document page of each document.
You can also consider creating a text variable that contains the actual text of the book title and inserting this variable on the master pages (one for the special first document page, and one for the rest of the document pages.) In a multiple-file book, you can use InDesign's book Synchronize feature to share the variable's definition, and the master pages, across all files.

i need you guys to help me show the way. i mean i have no experience doing this kinda work beforea but i wanna do it so please if any of you can provide me with some source or any other help (where can i find the examples regarding development)....
The project i have is :
The initial scope of work is to allow a user to first sign on to web hosting company (our company) user account. Once logged in they have the ability to quickly create a few pages web site. We will provide some sample (html) templates etc to the user.
The other feature of the tool will be to allow users to manage their website, add or delete pages, change format etcMicrosoft Access and MySQL databases will be used on respective systems (to save html templates).
The project will be hosted on unix and windows 2000. What do you suggest? which technology shall i use . jsp/servlet or php ... consider the performance and cost of both technologies and then answer

One generate a HTML file and use the Web.Show_Document to display the help file.
Two use shareware like 'Help Workshop' which can be found at www.cnet.com.

Hello hope your enjoying your summer I am having a lot of problems with my phone if some1 has my IMEI # is there any way to get them out of ur phone I BELEAVE my boyfriend of 10 yrs has my phone under control. What can I do? I have called apple, my phone carrier, and nobody can find anything. But I go into my accounts and stuff has changed, has stuff hidden that I can't see, but sometimes I come across them. I don't get any email notifications for icloud, apple, nothing in the last few days I have gotten 2 for a lady named penny I emailed her but it came back to me. And when I hit RSS feed and it go's to the App Store and it says it's down and when I download one it does not work I have 4 on my phone now and it does not pick up any of them. Is there anything I can do or do I need to sale my phone and get rid of the #. What I should do is get rid of the old man sad our relashionship has went to **** since he's figured these phones out even n the bedroom, I wore a dress first time I beleVe since we been together and to this day we just go to bed. It's sad he has my phone under his control cause he wants to be a net whore. But please help me if u can. One more question how do u get points and stuff I said urs was helpful but it still says 0. All and the most important I can change my password everywhere but in my setting for my icloud. Please help I'm about to,,, I won't say.....
