Need help ASAP! Can't print all pages to PDF!

I'm trying to print to PDF a 44-page document for client proofing in Indesign CS4. When selecting the print range I always click "All", and "Spreads".
Last week out of the blue it only printed to page 16, with the above settings. I don't have any sections or page numbers or anything that would cause it to not print certain pages.
There are no errors when it's generating the PDF, in fact it goes through the entire print dialogue box just fine; except the "finished" PDF will pop up early with only 16 of the pages, while the print dialogue box is still going. I have to go back afterwards and print range "17-44" to get it to print the rest, and even then it will only print to page 41, and I'll have to go again and print "42-44", so I end up with 3 documents.
It does it with multiple documents. It seems to be random, too, as today I was able to get it to print out a different document in it's entirety as I wasn't able to earlier.
What on earth could be going on? I haven't changed any settings since the problem appeared. Thanks for your help.

I think if there was a problem in the driver it would be obvious. You might want to try trashing the prefs before doing anything more drastic. See Replace Your Preferences
There are some scripts for doing imposition, but Print Booklet is the built-in choice. That said, unless your printer specifiacally told you to make spreads, or you are the printer yourself, DON'T DO IT. It is the printer's job to impose your file to fit his equipment and you'll just make more work for everyone, or even make your job impossible to print, if you try to do his job for him.

Need help! Can not print a Pages item???

I am completely new to mac. I have just switched from windows and have been experimenting with pages am only used to publisher. I have created a poster in Pages using a template and it will not print, it spools. I have looked at everything imaginable trying to figure out what the problem is and am getting absolutely no where. We tried emailing it as a pdf so that we could maybe print it out from another workstation using windows. It attached put failed to send from both yahoo and gmail.
I have been considering purchasing IWork, but don't know after all this hassle.
If anyone out there can advise, please do. I am becoming a v. frustrated new mac user.

Some questions:
1. How big is the Pages file?
2. How big is the PDF file?
3. What printer do you have?
4. What did "fail to send" look like? An error message? A time out when you press the "send" button or the "attach file" button?
I would probably put the PDF on a memory stick or an SD Card from my camera and transfer it to the other machine, but it is strange that it does not print from the Mac.

Then duplicate that button to pages 3-23.
To do that effectively go to Form Edit mode, right-click the button and select Duplicate Across Pages.

Need help now! Preserving color in Pages to PDF format

I read the other recent post on PDF-CMYK and I may be in the same boat. Right now, I need to get my Pages newsletter (6 pages long) saved in a PDF format that will preserve the original colors I used in Pages. This PDF will be emailed and be posted online for others to read online--so I need the same colors. Everything I have tried has failed - but this for some reason worked, and I dont know why (nor I am not sure what it is doing) -
From Pages Print, Save PDF as PostScript (no clue what this is). It created a 40MB file. I used Preview to open it and it converted it to a PDF - *perfect color match to original Pages document* Yes!... BUT - in the title bar I can see the name of my file, it has .pdf a the end. So I try to File Save it in the required directory and it reverts to the off-colors. The off colors consistently appear when I try to use any other PDF save format.
My goals -
#1 Time-date Priority (less than 24hrs) I need a compressed email friendly newsletter in PDF to share via email/web download.
#2 Print ready PDF version (not sure on the file requirements yet)

Thanks. Yes, I realize i need RGB. When I try any of the PDF print options (either export or print PDF or Compressed PDF or Email PDF) they ALL change the color layout of the entire newsletter!! The colored blocks behind the text are all altered, but all of the inserted JPGS are just fine.
I managed to use Automator and applied a custom Quartz filter to apply an RGB profile and render the intent on the shading and it seemed to help some, but it is not the same as the original. This action I created has to start with a PDF file to run it - so you can see I am back at square one with the PDF save not capturing the correct colors. This action took a 7+mb PDF file (created via Export) and made it into 660kb (oh, I also used a compression quartz filter too in the action).
I only had one problem with one image getting fine white lines horizontally through it. I suspect that is one image that was very large to begin with. I will try to resize it in PSE and then insert a smaller version of it. The rest of the jpg's were fine.
Right now this newsletter PDF has to be emailed to members and it will be posted online for download. It will also be emailed to prospective commercial printers to give them a preview of the project (but not use this actual file for printing).
So I am still stuck with PDF saves not preserving my original colors.

Need help. Trying to print specific pages on Pages 09.

For example. I have a 40 page document. Yet I do not need all those pages to be printed at this time. I need to only Print pages 15-35. How do I go about doing so?

NEED HELP! Can't print song list...stops halfway!?

I can print a jewel-case insert and an album listing, but for some odd reason, whenever I try to print a song list (like a cd for example) it stops printing halfway! Can anyone help? I have tried saving it as a pdf file, still stops halfway. I have also tried restarting both my computer and printer.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

The problem is that when I print a jewel case insert, the song list comes out all skrunched up. I notified Apple, they are aware of problem...as of 6 weeks ago. The problem was verified and duplicated by them. Just try printing a jewel case insert with the songs of one of your playlists....you'll see what it does! It started after the last up date for me. It was ok before that. I know because I did a system restore to a date before the update and it worked. Then I tried doing the update again and the problem started up again. If only I could resort to the version before the last!

Saving/Printing all pages of Report developed in Portal....

How can I save a Report developed in Portal as soft file?
I know there is a feature in Customizing Report to enter the
File save as Excel and it will try to save file.
I have 2 questions :
a) How can I achieve saving the Report as html/ascii/excel file
when it has say 20000 rows ?.
(Because always when I run a report on browser it brings data
when I press "Next" and "previous" buttons.)
b) If I need to print the Report to printer how can I print all
pages of Report output?

I also noticed there is a Firmware Upgrade Utility out on HP.COM that addresses a few PJL command issues, so it might be worth checking the Firmware versions on your units to see if you have the latest:

How do I print just 1 web page in FF 29 ? With 29 you can only change the first field ( 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, etc. ) That means I can only print all 5 pages,

So I cant seem to print just the 1st of 5 pages. The default setting , 1 of 5, will print all 5 pages. The 2nd field can not be altered, as it could in previous FF versions, to 1 of 1. Therefore, I can only print all 5 pages, 2 through 5, 3 through 5, etc. WTF - I keep wasting print paper. I got the print edit add-on but that doesn't seem to help. I have been through several FF versions and do not like the format of 29.

You can use printPages(1, 5), however I need to know how you print current page.

We enter various pieces of data, other than the standard name address & phone numbers and we print all information on each card so it fits in a 5x7 inch loose binder. We have used InTouch software for many years and it has served us extremely welll, however, the publisher (The Prairie Group) has not, and apparently has no plans to update their software to be compatible with any Mac OSX OS beyond 10.6. Any help will be appreciated!

You can select what you want included in a list format. In the Print command from Contacts, click the Show Details button. Then in the Style pulldown menu select "Lists" and there you'll be able to select what you want included. You can also select what you wish included if you select the Pocket Address Book style.
If neither of those options will work for you, then you will need to look to third-party software. Here's one possibility that seems to get good reviews:

I haven't done more than try it to make sure that it works with OS X 10.9's Contacts, which it does, but you can download their demo and try it yourself.

Only the first page is printed reduced as setup. All pages afterward are full size with information cut off. Recent problem. Can print from Safari just fine. How can I get all pages to be reduced size?

Reset all Firefox printer settings
# Open your profile folder:

My ipod says i have no music on it, but when i plug it into itunes, and look under music on my ipod, its all there. NEED HELP ASAP!!!!! all the music came from a computer which i no longer have, so my ipod is the only place where that music is.

You had a glitch and the music files got corrupted. I know of no way to uncorrupt them.
You can try using a computer app like iFunbox

to see if yo can get them from the iPod in a usable file.
Otherwise you will have to re import them to your computer and sync
