NEED HELP BADLY! USING IMAC G5 AND CAN NOT INSTALL

I'm not too great with computers but I know how to install
programs easily and I've installed Flash in the past.
Today it seemed for no reason my flashplayer just stopped
working.
So I went to reinstall it
It succesfully installed but still didnt work on any flash
types.
So I deleted all the possible flash files on my computer and
then tried installing again
And it gave me an error message saying: 1008:9,-5000
I don't know what this means and I don't know how to fix it
and would extremely appreciate someone helping me out...
I use an Imac G5 (not intel core)
My main browser is Safari but I will use Firefox if needed

I've used the Free Version of SuperDuper for 3 - 4 years to make a bootable backup of my MacBook. It always makes a perfect copy. I don't use the paid version of SD, but from what I gather the main advantage of the paid version is you can make a back up of only those files that have changed since the last back up using Smart Update or Copy Newer. This takes only a few minutes rather than the 1 1/4 hours it takes me to do a complete back up using the free version. SD won't let you use Smart Update or Copy Newer unless you pay.
From your post, you want to copy a few of your User files to an external drive? I'm not sure why you need SuperDuper to do this. Why not just drag those files to the external drive? Sure, you're not able to schedule this for an automatic back up, but I'm not sure that's what SD is for. However, it looks like they have shell scripting to do other things, and there is a selection for included scripts under Options. There may be something in there for you.

I need help badly with my ibook and palm pilot

Good day. I recently fixed my ibook and my palm to sync with each other. I configured my palm to sync with entourage. I then realized that it would be much better that if I sync my palm pilot with the palm desktop. Gow do I now reverse this? How do i cancel entourage to sync with my pal pilot. please advise. need help badly on this. thanks... i just like to feep my files organized and i find it difficult using entourage...my palm pilot is a palm TX...

I also have a Palm handheld. I use iCal and Address Book more than Entourage. This is what I did:
At first, I tried to adapt to Palm Desktop. I didn't like it, so I looked for the *iSync Conduit*. I found it and installed it. Then, I ignored the Palm desktop software (except the HotSync utility) and have used iSync with iCal and Address Book since.
I know that doesn't answer the question about switching from Entourage, but Desktop isn't that great either. iSync is what I recommend.

Contact eBay and/or your credit card company to file a claim against the seller if he/she advertised that the phone was unlocked and ready to be used.

I just upgraded to Yosemite on a MacBook Pro and also needed to upgrade Numbers. However, I can not get a spreadsheet that I had prior to this. I did backup to time machine. How do I now restore to get that spreadsheet?

Open the folder you thought it was in and Enter Time Machine. Go back in time until your find it.
You can also use the search field in the Finder window in Time Machine to search for the file.

Need help badly using SuperDuper

I posted a question and "everybody" raved about SD, how wonderful, it is user friendly and great support.
Well, I see differently. I don't see any difference between the free and paid version.
The choices provided "During copy" are the same as what they were available in the free copy.
All I want to to select a specif folder that contains several of my image folders;however SD won't let me do that is all grey out, unless I select each image one by one. I don't think that is they way it suppose to work.
I have contacted Dave at SD, and I'm getting a boilerplate response "where is the great support?"
I don't want to learn DOS, UNIX, otherwise, I'd have bought a Linux sys not a Mac, since I belie someone made the suggestion that I need to communicate with SD using UNIX like language.
Now I'm stuck with several Ext HD, spent 28. and can't finish the back up

Well, Tiger is OSX version 10.4 In addition there are sub-versions such as 10.4.2, 10.4.6, up to the latest sub version 10.4.11 (note, that is an eleven at the end). The information you report doesn't really fit into this pattern so we need to determine what exactly it is that you have installed.
Jumping ahead, if by "1.5" you really mean "10.5" that isn't Tiger at all but Leopard. To get that on your computer you will have to purchase a retail (discs black in color) installer set of Leopard from Apple online, from a retailer near you, or used. If you buy used make certain it is the black retail set of discs, not gray ones as those will not install on your computer.
One other thing added in edit. You say, "I have G4 Tiger and want to install PPC G5 1.5 GHz" A G4 is one kind of computer, a G5 is another. I think at this stage it would help greatly to determine what exactly it is you have since that will affect what kind of systems you can run. Go to the apple in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Select "About this Mac" then "more info" Copy and paste the information in a reply but remove the serial number. I am trying to connect to a web site using kiosk software and can not connect to a page.

I have been using both eCrisper and Kiosk Pro and trying to connect to our church's online giving page (crossing-church.logosconnect.com) and the page will not load. The page loads fine in Safari. The developer for eCrisper says it is an Apple issue. Any thoughts?

Well that is the message i get. I can still use firefox(version3.6.8)

You get that error if an extension is using an old and no longer supported method to install a plugin.
Which plugin are you trying to install?

NEED HELP BADLY W/ USB DRIVE AND iBOOK!!!

I have an ibook 1.2 ghz and store everything (music,pics,etc.) on a Seagate USB 100 GB hard drive. Well, last night, the usb plug came out of the hard drive and now my ibook does not recognize my drive. When I plug in my drive, it says " THE DISK YOU INSERTED IS NOT READABLE BY THIS COMPUTER" and 3 choices INITIALIZE , IGNORE or EJECT. However, I downloaded a demo called Filesalvage, and it showed all of my files were still on my drive. Everything I own is on this drive 60 gigs of music, 15 gigs of photos. Can someone please shed some light on whats going on and how I can restore my drive back to normal?
I do own Tech Tool Pro 4. Can I use Tech Tool without spending 90 bucks on File Salvage? Any help is greatly appreciated.

if I can update, change or add to my iWeb from my laptop if I built the site on my home system. I'm shooting a documentary on my in-laws that are adopting two children from Africa. We just landed in Addis Ababa and I would like to continue the "blogg" page on my iWeb site (www.themarkjacobs.com). I have copied the site folder from my iDisk and have tried every combination and nothing seems to work. Can I edit, update, change or add via my mac book pro while on the road??? Someone help! The last thing I want to do is rebuild my site from Africa.
