Does the printer you get for free with the macbook work with airport....
i dont know why but it is not understanding it by the way the printer is hp photosmart c3100.

There is an option, but it's a rather complicated process. If you feel you're up to the task, read on.
You can try using the hpijs driver. You won't get access to printer status or the card reader, but you can at least print over the network. In addition to downloading and installing the two packages from this page, you may have to download the PPD file for the 3100 from this page and install in the /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj folder (or the .lproj folder connesponding to your primary language). A new printer model called "HP Photosmart 3100 Foomatic/hpijs" will be available in the Print Using popup.
If Bonjour printing doesn't work, the process gets even more complicated: you may have to use the Advanced mode in the Printer Setup Utility to configure the printer for AppSocket/HP JetDirect printing to port 9100 of the Express. To get access to the Advanced settings, go through the motions of adding a printer in Printer Setup Utility but instead of selecting a printer from the browser, hold down the option key while pressing "More Printers...".
In the resultant dialog, select "AppSocket/HP JetDirect" from the Device popup, give the printer a name, enter a Device URI of "socket://<address>:9100". Replace <address> with either the Express's IP address or its Bonjour host name, which will be the Express's name with punctuation removed, spaces replaced by dashes, and ".local" appended. If you want to be sure to get the right address, use a utility like iStumbler to get the Bonjour host name (minus the ".local", which will still need to be appended). Finally, select the printer model and click on Add.

If you have connected to the Windows shared printer using SMB (Add Printer > Windows) then the prompt will be for a user name/password set in Windows. This same prompt should have appeared when creating the printer queue on the Mac.
Some things that could help get you printing.
1. The Windows computer enables the Guest account so that the Mac can use that (although you will have to select the Guest account each time you print
2. The Windows computer sets you Mac user name and password so that you don't get prompted (but not the preferred option as you have just given out your personal details.
3. Enable LPD Print Services on Windows and then you can create a print queue on the Mac using LPD instead of SMB.
I would recommend action 3 as your best solution.
Note that all three require the administrator of the Windows computer to setup this actions and if that person is not helpful or outsourced then you will have a challenge.

I need help with using the Make With Top Object envelope distortion.

I'm doing a project for school called "Ocean Of Stars". I have a few objects,a sheet of purple stars and a few blue gradient colored circles. I need to merge the stars and the circles as one object, but when I click the Make with top object command, the color in the cicles disappear. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

His spheres are 3d yours are 2d. See what happens when you revolve a 1/2 a sphere. You will find a way to apply the stars in that same dialog box if you look really hard.

I need help in using the FM BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA. The FM is returning a message that says "The field MARA-MEINS/BAPI_MARA-BASE_UOM(_ISO) is defined as a required field; it does not contain an entry".

Do you know when this problem (for not being able to add new highlight/strikeout/underline) has started? Did you update your iOS from 7.x to 8.0 recently?

Look for cloud solutions such as DropBox, OneDrive, SugarSync or others. They are all cloud based services that sync documents between computers via the cloud. Of course another solution is simply a flash drive formatted in exFat so that Macs and Windows computers can read it.

If it is Win 7 or later, the Adobe PDF printer for AA 7 will not install and AcroTray will not function. You will have to install a PS driver from Adobe or maybe an HP color PS printer driver. Then edit the driver properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and the port to FILE. You will always have to do an extra step in creating PDFs by opening the file that is created in Distiller to get the PDF.
If you are talking about Win 8, you may not be successful at all. If you got Acrobat and Distiller to install, then there is a chance.

Need help connecting to network printer using xfce and cups

please can someone assist me with setting up a printer.
I am running arch and xfce desktop.
I have an Epson Stylus Photo R800 USB printer connected to a wireless Belkin all-in-one Print Server.
I do not know how to connect to this printer.
I am not conversant in CUPS or network printing and would very much like to use the printer.
My arch box is connected through cable to a wireless router.
The print server is connected to the wireless router and the router confirms the print server is attached to the network.
The print server IP address is 192.168.0.100.
The printer server has a web interface which I used to set wireless and TCP settings. I should say that I went into this interface and configured the print server which is totally usable and fine from a Vista laptop using wireless - vista laptop "sees" the print server and prints over wireless, therefore I know the server and printer are working together and all the print server settings are fine. I dont know how Vista connects, it just does!
I tried installing gutenprint and foomatic, went into the CUPS server page (localhost:631) and found my printer but I'm not sure if my connection string (socket://192.168.0.100:9100) is correct. I've tried several values and several Epson drivers from the CUPS web interface, all to no avail. I just get this message:

SOLVED!
the problem was that gutenprint needed to be installed.
I looked at the rastertops file in /usr/lib/cups/filter and it was very small, handfull of lines, but refered to gutenprint (whatever that is).
"pacman -Q gutenprint" revealed it was not installed.
All is fine now.

first of all, remove your battery and leave it out for five minutes then replace it. see if this solves the problem. if it does not, backp all your data to memory card or the mass storage (16gb) in the phone, or as a backup file .nbu in Nokia PC Suite. then perform a hard reset (*#7370 and *#7780#) to clear the phone to default factory settings. if this still does not work, then try the three-finger hard reset. if this still does not work, you will have to take your phone to your local Nokia Care Centre for them to look at.
remember to do appropriate backup of all your files first. let us know how it goes.
